Abstract

This mentoring activity aims to improve students' ability to memorize the Qur'an using the Tasmi' and Muraja'ah methods at SMP Negeri 4 Padang Panjang through the Tahfidzul Qur'an program which is carried out once a week after school hours are finished.. Implementing the Tahfidzul Qur'an program is crucial to cultivate a generation of proficient Qur'anic memorizers. SMP Negeri 4 Padang Panjang faces various challenges in memorizing the Qur'an. However, despite these challenges, there are still students who are motivated and curious about the process of memorizing the Qur'an. This is what motivates SMP Negeri 4 Padang Panjang to implement the tahfizul Qur'an program once a week at school, utilizing the Muraja’ah and Tasmi’ methods to maintain and facilitate students' memorization of the Qur'an. The service learning method serves as the implementation method for this mentoring program. The results of this activity show that students are able to memorize the Qur'an well and apply it for further memorization using the Tasmi’ and Muraja’ah methods.

Abstract

The existence of mosques in this modern era has many benefits, especially in the fields of worship and science. This can be seen from the many uses of mosques as gathering places for Muslims in terms of disseminating religious knowledge. This article aims to determine the relevance of the Prophet as an ideal educator in the context of mosques as educational centers in the modern era. This research uses a historical approach which is specifically used as an analysis tool for information or events in the past. The method used in this article is library research, namely using library materials as the main data source intended to explore the theories and concepts of previous experts. The discussion of this article is that the Prophet Muhammad as an ideal educator is one of the main figures in terms of education that we experience today. The spread of education carried out by the Prophet was gradual, from covert to overt. The Prophet carried out educational processes in kuttabs and mosques. In this modern era, the existence of mosques is very important for Muslims. Not only as a place of worship but also as a place for the transformation of religious knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah meta analisis dengan sampel sebanyak 10 artikel. (Anwar, 2005) mengatakan bahwa hasil data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari analisis 2 artikel atau lebih yang sejenis merupakan definisi dari metode meta-analisis. Prosedur yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan langkah meta analisis, yaitu langkah awal yang dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi masalah atau topik penelitian. Topik yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil apa yang diperoleh siswa dalam belajar matematika jika pembelajarannya menggunakan media pembelajaran matematika. Penentuan jangka waktu penentuan sumber data hasil penelitian merupakan langkah kedua. Sepuluh makalah jurnal tentang pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran matematika dipilih sebagai sumber data dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian meta analisis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, dilihat dari tingkat pendidikan mata pelajaran, penggunaan media pembelajaran lebih efektif pada siswa sekolah dasar dibandingkan siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Sedangkan dari segi materi pelajaran, media pembelajaran lebih banyak digunakan dalam bentuk datar dan spasial. Penggunaan media pembelajaran lebih memberikan pengaruh terhadap siswa sekolah dasar dibandingkan siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Sebab, siswa di sekolah dasar akan lebih mudah menyerap pembelajaran jika proses pembelajaran dilengkapi dengan media. Dan apabila anak dapat menerima pembelajaran dengan baik, maka hasil belajarnya pun akan baik. Begitu pula jika anak tidak menerima pembelajaran dengan baik, maka hasil belajarnya juga tidak baik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Kuok which can be seen in the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. This research is a quasi-experimental study, with a sample technique used simple random sampling. The population in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Kuok in the 2024/2025 Academic Year consisting of 2 classes. The samples in this study were class X.1 as the control class and class X.2 as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were learning implementation sheets and mathematical communication ability test questions. The data analysis technique used was the Independent sample T-Test and the N-Gain test with the help of SPSS 25 software. The results of the Independent sample T-Test obtained sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, namely 0.000, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted and it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the Think Talk Write type cooperative learning model on mathematical communication skills and is also quite effective to use.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of evaluation as a key pillar in improving the quality of Islamic Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam, PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 4 Padang Panjang. However, the implementation of evaluation still faces several challenges, such as students’ low awareness in practicing Islamic values they have learned and the limited parental supervision of their children's religious practices outside the home. The aim of this study is to examine the extent to which evaluation contributes to enhancing the quality of PAI learning. A qualitative approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that evaluation plays a central role in determining the success of the PAI learning process. Educational success is reflected in the structured implementation of evaluation by teachers through planning and execution stages. All educators at SMP Negeri 4 Padang Panjang are actively involved in conducting evaluations as a collective effort to improve learning quality. Supporting factors include teacher commitment and school-wide coordination, while inhibiting factors include time constraints and limited external supervision. Nevertheless, teachers continue to strive to overcome these obstacles to ensure that evaluations are carried out optimally and the goal of improving the quality of Islamic education is achieved. The implications of this study affirm that the success of learning quality heavily depends on systematic and continuous evaluation practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the differences in financial performance of local revenue (PAD) during the periods of non unqualified opinion and unqualified opinion among districts/municipalities within Aceh Province Aceh in 2013-2014. Population of the study is 23 districts/municipalities of Aceh province. Using purposive sampling technique, 10 districts/municipalities were choosen as the sample of the study according to the criteria that those districts/municipalities should have audit opinion improvement, from non unqualified in 2013 became unqualified in 2014. The data used was the budget realization statement of each district/municipality for the year 2013-2014. Paired sample t-test was used to analyze the data.The results of the study showed that the financial performance of local revenue (PAD) during non unqualified opinion period have no different compare to qualified opinion period in districts/municipalities of Aceh Province for the year 2013-2014. In the aspect of the degree of fiscal decentralization and financial independence ratio, financial performance of local revenue during non unqualified period differs from unqualified period. In addition, based on the effectiveness and growth of local revenue ratios, financial performance of local revenue in districts/municipalities of Aceh Province have no different within these two periods.Keywords: Financial Performance, Local Revenue (PAD), Audit Opinion, Degree of Fiscal Decentralization, Effectiveness of Local Revenue (PAD) Ratio, Growth of Local Revenue (PAD) Ratio, and Financial Independence Ratio.
