Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Islamic values on the learning behaviour of students in Islamic boarding schools, as well as designing educational improvement strategies to increase the sustainability of Islamic boarding schools in achieving the goals of holistic Islamic education. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data condensation, data exposure, and concluding with verification. The research results show that implementing the right strategy can improve the quality of Islamic boarding school education and maintain the sustainability of these institutions in the global era. Strategy improvements include improving the quality of teaching with relevant methods, diversifying the curriculum according to global demands, effective financial management, community participation in financial support and Islamic boarding school facilities, developing human resources through continuous training, utilizing information technology, and preparing long-term strategic plans.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika seharusnya menarik, menantang, menginspirasi, berpusat pada siswa, kontekstual, dan memungkinkan pengembangan kreativitas sesuai dengan pertumbuhan psikologis peserta didik. Tujuan studi ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran manipulatif Dontik yang valid, praktis, dan menarik pada materi Statistika kelas VIII SMP/MTs. Model pengembangan ASSURE digunakan dalam studi ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket dengan analisis data melalui data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan validitas produk menunjukkan kevalidan dari ahli materi sebesar 87,5% dan ahli media sebesar 95,8%. Kepraktisan sebesar 94,4% ditunjukkan dari validasi praktisi. Serta, kemenarikan sebesar 83% ditunjukkan dari respons peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media manipulatif Dontik sangat valid, sangat praktis, dan menarik untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

One of the fundamental skills that students need to have in order to understand mathematics completely and deeply is the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Planning, action, observation and reflection are the four stages of this research which is a type of classroom action research (PTK). This research uses the Discovery Learning learning model on trigonometry material to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The population of this research was students of class X IPS 4 MAN Batu City, totaling 36 students. Research methods for collecting data include observation and learning achievement tests each cycle. The findings of this research indicate that the Discovery Learning learning model can help students better understand mathematical ideas. This conclusion was obtained using data on the average posttest score of students' mathematical conceptual knowledge which fell by 6.7 points along with an increase in completeness from cycle I to cycle II by 56.3% to 63.8%. Based on the results of this research, teachers can help their students understand mathematical concepts, especially those related to trigonometry, by changing the discovery learning paradigm. Keywords: Discovery learning, understanding mathematical concepts, trigonometry ABSTRAK Salah satu keterampilan mendasar yang perlu dimiliki siswa agar dapat memahami matematika secara utuh dan mendalam adalah kemampuan memahami konsep matematika. Perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi merupakan empat tahapan penelitian ini yang merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada materi trigonometri untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS 4 MAN Kota Batu yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Metode penelitian untuk mengumpulkan data meliputi observasi dan tes prestasi belajar setiap siklus. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat membantu siswa lebih memahami ide matematika. Kesimpulan ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan data rata-rata skor posttest pengetahuan konseptual matematika siswa yang turun sebesar 6,7 poin seiring dengan peningkatan ketuntasan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 56,3% menjadi 63,8%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, guru dapat membantu siswanya memahami konsep matematika, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan trigonometri, dengan mengganti paradigma pembelajaran penemuan. Abstract

The adherence of motor vehicle taxpayers to tax regulations is a crucial matter in the context of augmenting local income. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of tax knowledge and the modernization of the tax administration system on taxpayer compliance at Samsat Gunungkidul. The research employed the multiple linear regression analysis technique on a sample of 100 taxpayers. The analysis results indicate that taxation awareness, Samsat Outlet, and Mobile Samsat have a substantial impact on taxpayer compliance; however, E-Posti does not have a significant effect. These findings suggest that it is crucial to enhance people's understanding of taxes and improve the efficiency of tax administration services in order to promote tax compliance. Local governments and key stakeholders should intensify their efforts to improve tax literacy, broaden the availability of tax services, and comprehensively assess the tax administration system. Therefore, by implementing measures to enhance tax compliance, we may effectively promote sustainable regional development.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of Dukcapil Web Plavon in improving population administration service in Glagaharum village. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach was conducted, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. T.B. Smith's theory was used to analyze four indicators: Policy Wanted, Target Targeted, Organizational Implementation, and Environmental Factors. The desired policy indicator showed that the program was implemented in accordance with the objectives set by the Civil Registration and Population Service. However, the target indicator revealed that many people still cannot use Dukcapil's Web Plavon. The organizational implementation indicator showed that socialization related to the existence and use of Dukcapil Web Platoon has not been maximized, causing a large number of people to not understand how to use it. The environmental factors indicator revealed barriers associated with frequent power outages, unstable internet connection, lack of printer, and lack of room cooling air conditioner. The study implies that the implementation of Dukcapil Web Plavon faces various challenges that need to be addressed to improve population administration service.
