Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Islamic values on the learning behaviour of students in Islamic boarding schools, as well as designing educational improvement strategies to increase the sustainability of Islamic boarding schools in achieving the goals of holistic Islamic education. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data condensation, data exposure, and concluding with verification. The research results show that implementing the right strategy can improve the quality of Islamic boarding school education and maintain the sustainability of these institutions in the global era. Strategy improvements include improving the quality of teaching with relevant methods, diversifying the curriculum according to global demands, effective financial management, community participation in financial support and Islamic boarding school facilities, developing human resources through continuous training, utilizing information technology, and preparing long-term strategic plans.

Abstract

This paper describes the efforts of MTs Pandean in improving the quality of its institutions through teacher professionalism in the digital era. The quality of educational institutions is closely related to teachers as educators who will prepare students in the digitalization era. To obtain valid and accountable data, the researcher conducted interviews with several informants using purposive sampling technique, which consisted of five people, namely Qodiri, S. Pd as the head of the madrasa, Nurul Huda, S. Pd as the deputy head, Hasan Bashri, S. Pd. I as the deputy head of the curriculum, Noviwahyu Ningtiyas, S.E, S. Pd, one of the teachers at the madrasa. The forms of efforts made at MTs Pandean are training to build digital literacy awareness, teacher working groups (KKG) to build an entrepreneurial spirit, and supervision to build teacher leadership and emotional intelligence. With the fulfillment of the teacher indicators of teacher professionalism at MTs Pandean, it is hoped that then it will be able to improve the quality of these educational institutions.

Abstract

Mewabahnya virus Corona yang saat ini lebih sering disebut Covid-19 telah menjadi ancaman bagi seluruh penduduk dunia. Pandemi global ini telah menyebabkan begitu banyak dampak buruk antara lain kematian ribuan hingga jutaan nyawa, penurunan perekonomian dunia, dan menggagalkan ribuanrencana yang telah ditetapkan, termasukkegiatanPKM di Universitas Nurul Jadid. Kegiatan yang seharusnya menjadi tempat para mahasiswa menjejaki pengalaman berharga berinteraksi langsung dengan masyarakat berubah menjadi ancaman bagi yang tetap melakukan hal tersebut. Makadariitu, kampus berkeadaban Universitas Nurul Jadid kemudian mengarahkan kegiatan PKM dengan melakukan kegiatan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat terutama dalam kondisi seperti saat ini dengan tetap di rumah yakni dengan mengadakan "Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Tematik Covid-19 berbasis prodak karya pengabdian". Begitu cepatnya peningkatkan korban Covid-19 ini telah menakutkan berbagai lapisan masyarakat, termasuk masyarakat daerah kabupaten Probolinggo. Tercatatsudah 91 orang terkonfirmasi positif terpapar Covid-19 di daerah tersebutdari total 27.549 kasuspositif di Indonesia per 02 Juni 2020. Dengan demikian, kami pun memiliki kesadaran dan kepedulian terhadap sesame dengan melakukan kegiatan PKM yang bias membantu dan mengurangi bebanserta rasa khawatir masyarakat desa kami yakni dengan membantu meningkatkan pendapatan di Lembaga Pelatihan dan Kursus Menjahit Raudlatul Hasaniyah (LPKRH) desa Sambirampak Kidul kecamatan Kotaanyar kabupaten Probolinggo. Adanya PKM tematik ini mempermudah kami dalam melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk membantu dalam kondisi sulit seperti sekarang ini. LPKRH mengalami penurunan permintaan dari para pelanggan yang disisi lain juga membuat para pekerja tak mendapatkan upah mereka seperti biasanya. Dengan program promosi online kami, diharapkan bisa membantu meningkatkan permintaan dan penghasilan mereka.

Abstract

Setiap pendidik pada satuan pendidikan berkewajiban menyusun perangkat pembelajaran secara lengkap agar pembelajaran berlangsung secara interaktif, inspiratif, dan menyenangkan. Kurikulum Merdeka, yang terbilang masih baru diimplementasikan di beberapa sekolah, menjadi permasalahan yang harus segera diatasi. Karena kurangnya pengetahuan warga sekolah, termasuk guru, tentang kurikulum ini membuat implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka menjadi kurang maksimal di lapangan. Salah satu solusi yang bisa dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut adalah dengan melaksanakan pendampingan guru dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan utama, yaitu pengenalan Impelementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM), pendampingan dalam pembuatan perangkat Kurikulum Merdeka, serta pelatihan dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (a) ada beberapa komponen dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang tidak jauh berbeda dengan Kurikulum Nasional, hanya terjadi perubahan nama, sehingga tidak terlalu menyulitkan guru untuk mengenal dan memahami kurikulum baru; (b) terdapat enam dimensi karakter pelajar Pancasila, yang harus diperoleh oleh siswa melalui Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), serta Capaian Pembelajaran yang tergolong baru dan masih asing bagi guru, sehingga guru membutuhkan waktu lebih lama untuk menyusunnya menjadi perangkat pembelajaran; (c) kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru untuk mengenal lebih dalam tentang Kurikulum Merdeka, sehingga memudahkan guru dalam penerapannya selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

In several religious practices, Fiqh is often used as a basis for intolerance, discrimination and practices of social injustice, even conservatism and radicalism in society. This matter certainly shows the paradoxical nature of Islamic religious practice, where Islam has a vision of rahmatan lil'alamin, but it is being the root of the existence of squabbling in society. Departing from this problem, this research aims to explain the relevance of the concept of study for reciting the Qur’an and developing good the morals of KH. Zaini Mun'im in the construction of moderate Fiqh in Pesantren. This research is qualitative research with the type of library study. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and content analysis. Test the validity of the data by using intertextual source triangulation. The results of this research are; firstly, the existence of the concept of study for reciting the Qur’an and developing good morals is an affirmation of the aim that every process of reciting leads to construct good morals, towards Allah SWT, and fellow or human beings; secondly, in turn, tafaqquh or depth of understanding of Islamic religious teachings, especially Fiqh, will be oriented towards building good social relations in society. This research is expected to contribute to the construction of moderate Fiqh that is able to accomodate the differences in society.

Abstract

TProblems that occur in MTs Zainul Anwar precisely in class VII students have the characteristics of being difficult to absorb information as a whole due to limited cognitive abilities like poor thinking skills, difficulty with thinking and memory, and uncontrollable the emotion. The purpose of this study is to describe teachers' flexibility in overcoming the slow learner class VII MTs Zainul Anwar through the Auditory, Intellectually, And Repetition model. This research uses qualitative research methods with case study research. Analysis of the data used is the Miles and Huberman Interactive analysis model. The results showed. The teacher's flexibility in applying the AIR learning model is the teacher's efforts through adjustment, technical assistance (additional learning) with a mind mapping, remedial education, and a continuous evaluation with self-monitoring techniques. So, with the teacher's flexibility in applying the AIR learning model, he overcame the slow learner class VII MTs Zainul Anwar. Teachers can use the AIR learning model by using additional classes to make it easier for students to understand the learning material. In addition, it can develop student competence both cognitively and effectively to help improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study explores local wisdom-based leadership in Islamic boarding schools, using the Suchman Inquiry model as a leadership learning model. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection in this study was carried out circularly using three approaches: l) observation, 2) in-depth interviews, and 3) documentation. Document data analysis was carried out by collecting, selecting, and grouping data, then concluding without eliminating the original value of the data. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing a local wisdom-based leadership curriculum in Islamic boarding schools. Integrating local values identified through the Suchman Inquiry model will make the curriculum more relevant and contextual for students.

Abstract

This research explores how to strengthen a brand image based on the two-way symbolic model through Generation Z. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The research subjects included caregivers, Pesantren heads, administrators, guardians, alums, the community, and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that applying a two-way symmetrical communication model can strengthen the brand image of Pesantren through interaction with Generation Z, which can be proven by several indicators, namely dialogism, involvement of Generation Z, messaging adaptation, and relationships. A two-way symmetrical communication model can increase involvement and interaction between administrators, students, and the community. Generation Z has a crucial role in strengthening the image of Pesantren through social media campaigns. Open communication and responsive adaptation of messages to feedback help build a positive image of Pesantren. The active involvement of students in social and religious activities strengthens relationships with the community, making Pesantren an inclusive and responsive institution that contributes significantly to the welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Pendampingan untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Wali Asuh dalam Membimbing Anak Asuh di Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid Paiton-Probolinggo merupakan inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat peran dan kapasitas wali asuh dalam mendukung perkembangan holistik anak asuh. Pendampingan ini menekankan pada strategi manajemen disiplin yang adil dan bijaksana serta cara memotivasi anak asuh untuk belajar dan berpartisipasi dalam berbagai kegiatan. Kolaborasi antara wali asuh, orang tua, dan komunitas sekitar juga menjadi fokus utama untuk menciptakan sinergi dalam mendukung perkembangan anak asuh.Sebagai bagian dari program ini, panca kesadaran santri – yang meliputi kesadaran beragama, berbangsa, berbudaya, berorganisasi, dan berprestasi – diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan sehari-hari. Penerapan panca kesadaran ini bertujuan untuk membentuk santri yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran dan tanggung jawab sosial yang tinggi.Hasil yang diharapkan dari program ini mencakup peningkatan kompetensi wali asuh dalam aspek akademis dan spiritual, penguatan hubungan antara wali asuh dan anak asuh, serta pengembangan diri anak asuh dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk penerapan panca kesadaran santri. Program ini juga bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih kondusif bagi pertumbuhan fisik dan mental anak asuh, melalui dukungan yang menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid diharapkan dapat terus mencetak generasi ulama dan intelektual Muslim yang berwawasan luas, berintegritas, dan mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi umat dan bangsa

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the contribution of PPTQ in improving the quality of students, especially improving the quality of Islamic boarding schools in understanding the contents of the Qur'an. The study was conducted at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School using a qualitative research method of the case study type. The results of the study indicate that the planning process at PPTQ is carried out through deliberations involving all administrators, reflecting traditional values and strong collaboration. Program control is carried out by the Supervisor, who forms a clear and effective organizational structure to oversee the implementation of activities. A tiered learning system is applied to facilitate structured and progressive learning, while teamwork between administrators ensures that all activities run according to plan. Quality improvement is achieved through ongoing feedback from alumni and students, as well as through routine evaluations carried out by the supervisor and administrators. The results of the study are expected to be a tool for administrators to maintain consistency in improving the quality of students and Islamic boarding schools.
