Abstract

This article aims to discuss the scientific development of santri through the selection of Bahtsul Masail activists at Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Lirboyo Kediri. This research is qualitative research type. Data were collected through structured interviews and analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques. In this study, the results obtained are: The form of implementation of Bahtsul Masail activist selection in Hidayatul Mubtadiin Lirboyo Madrasah is through various deliberation forums and Bahtsul Masail. The results of the selection of Bahtsul Masail activists are carried out through several stages: First, recruiting Bahtsul Masail activists through special programs of Lajnah Bahtsul Masail such as the implementation of sorogan, takhasus and musyawaroh forums. Second, recruiting grade-level Bahtsul Masail activists through the kubro musyawaroh program (Muskub), combined musyawaroh (Musgab) for Tsanawiyah level students. Fathul Qorib and Al-Mahalli musyawaroh programs for Aliyah level students. Third, recruiting Bahtsul Masail activists through Bahtsul Masail at the cottage level. The implementation of the selection of Bahtsul Masail activists on the scientific development of students has a positive impact, including training public speaking, analyzing problems, utilizing self-potential from the works of previous scholars and training critical thinking intelligence.

Abstract

This study explores ways to improve students' social behavior through the role of foster guardians in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses qualitative research methods. The data sources are interviews with key informants, the heads and administrators of Islamic boarding schools, and observations. This research shows that Islamic boarding schools have unique methods for improving students' social behavior. The indicator is the active involvement of foster guardians in implementing the Islamic boarding school program. There are three types of programs implemented by foster guardians to improve the social behavior of students, including routine recitation, cleanliness pickets, and social service. The implementation of these three programs has supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors for foster guardians to improve the social behavior of students, such as cooperation and discipline between foster guardians to help the administrators with their duties so that it is easier for their foster children to carry out Islamic boarding school activities. In contrast, inhibiting factors are lack of coordination, cooperation, and conflicts in the foster guardian's activity schedule.

Abstract

Pemerintahan desa di Indonesia memiliki peran vital dalam melaksanakan tugas pemerintahan, pembangunan, dan pelayanan kepada penduduk di wilayahnya. Prinsip-prinsip seperti otonomi, demokrasi, dan keadilan sosial menjadi dasar penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa. Otonomi memberikan hak kepada pemerintahan desa untuk mengatur urusan lokal, sementara demokrasi melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengambilan keputusan. Desa memiliki kewenangan untuk membuat kebijakan, mengatur anggaran, dan mengambil langkah sesuai kebutuhan tanpa campur tangan berlebihan dari pemerintah pusat. Peraturan desa, hasil pembahasan dengan Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD), menjadi instrumen penting dalam mengatur kehidupan desa sesuai UU Desa. Asas kelembagaan dalam pembentukan peraturan desa menjamin proses sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip demokrasi, melibatkan pemimpin desa, perwakilan masyarakat, dan lembaga desa yang relevan. Pejabat pembentuk yang kompeten dan lembaga yang kuat meningkatkan akuntabilitas dan memastikan peraturan desa sesuai dengan kepentingan publik. Asas kelembagaan menjadi dasar bagi pembentukan peraturan desa yang demokratis, inklusif, dan efektif untuk mencapai pembangunan dan pemerintahan desa yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This paper explores and describes the concept of differentiated instruction according to Carol Tomlinson and the Concept of the Merdeka Curriculum. This paper is based on library research, uses secondary data collected using documentation techniques, and is qualitative-descriptive. The results: the Merdeka Curriculum is the Indonesian curriculum characterized by three things: which are emphasizing the main (essential) material, adding material of character building for the project called building 'Pelajar Pancasila,' and teacher flexibility in conducting learning to fulfill the needs and interests of students. Differentiated instruction, as one of the methods suitable for the Merdeka Curriculum, is a teaching philosophy based on the premise that students learn best when their teachers accommodate their different readiness levels, interests, and learning profiles. Teachers can distinguish at least four classroom elements: content, process, product, and learning environment. Thus, in learning Islamic Education, teachers need to understand the diverse backgrounds of learners in terms of readiness, interests, and learning profiles. Furthermore, teachers differentiate Islamic education in content, process, product, and learning environment.
