Abstract

Aceh after the conflict, precisely after the peace agreement between the Free Aceh Movement and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on August 15, 2005, has provided space for the revival of Islamic education in Aceh. This article discusses the innovation of Islamic education in Aceh using qualitative methods. The main data of this study are articles that have been published in national and international reputable scientific journals and books in libraries related to Islamic Education Institutions. Data collection uses https://scholar.google.com/ links, https://garuda.kemdikbud.go.id/, and https://www.sciencedirect.com/ which are then analyzed with content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the revival of Islamic education in Aceh occurs in three innovations. First, institutional innovation with various policies and regulations from the government that is getting stronger. Second, curriculum innovation that combines religious education materials with general science materials with learning methods and media that utilize information technology. Third, innovation in the integration model of dayah/pesantren education with public schools, and integrated public school models such as SD IT, SMP IT and SMU Plus.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sebagai kelompok intelektual memiliki tanggung jawab dan kewajiban membina karakter masyarakatnya untuk meningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) bangsanya. Mahasiswa telah dibekali dengan pngetahuan dan kemampuan intrapersonal dan interpersonal selama di bangku kuliah melalui aktifitas organisasi kemahasiswaan (ormawa). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Organisasi Kemahasiswaan (ORMAWA) Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam (HMP-PAI) dalam membina karakter masyarakat. Program dan kegiatan apasaja yang dilakukan Ormawa untuk membentuk karakter masyarkaat? Jenis data penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara yang dianalisis melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dari studi kasus kegiatan mahasiswa tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa HMP-PAI telah beperan dalam pembentukan karakter masyarakat melalui empat program kegiatan; pertama, mengajar dan pendampingan belajar anak-anak dan remaja. Kedua, kegiatan shalat jamaah, ceramah, dan khatib Jumat. Ketiga, kegiatan kegiatan buka puasa bersama, shalat berjamaah. Keempat, kegiatan aneka lomba anak shaleh, diantaranya, hafalan surat pendek, lomba azan, lomba pidato dan fashion show. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh HMP PAI IAIN Langsa telah berkontribusi membentuk karakter religius, kemandirian, kreatifitas, tanggung jawab, disiplin, jiwa bela negara, komunikatif, peduli sosial dan menghargai prestasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of providing stimulus and to know the improvement of memorization through the art of recitation, the author uses a type of classroom action research (CAR) using a descriptive research methodology, namely research to provide data by describing certain symptoms. The results showed that the provision of stimulus through the art of recitations in memorizing Surah Al-Falaq verses 1-5, namely there were 3 responses, perceptual responses (cognitive), emotional responses (affective), behavioristic responses (behavior). Perceptual (cognitive) responses describe students more quickly imitating ustadz (teacher) in memorizing, and their memory power will not forget, emotional (affective) responses describe students when memorizing using the art of recitations not talking much with themselves or with their friends, and behavioristic responses (behavior). behavior) shows disciplined students with their presence, never absent. As for improving the memorization of Surah Al- Falaq through the art of recitation, namely before being given action, students are lazy to memorize, many forget to memorize, then makhrajul letters and tajwid are still lacking, in the first cycle of action only 6 people achieved completeness, namely getting 54.54 results. %. Then the author took action in the second cycle, in the second cycle the students' memorization mastery increased, namely there were 9 people who got mastery with a percentage of 81.81%. This proves that there is a change or increase in memorization in children at TPQ Nurul Iman, Tamaran Village, Hinai District, Langkat Regency through the art of recitation. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah membawa perubahan signifikan pada berbagai aspek pendidikan, termasuk pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di MIN 2 Aceh Tamiang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi pembelajaran PAI setelah pandemi, mencakup metode pembelajaran, kurikulum/ materi pembelajaran, dan sistem evaluasi yang digunakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MIN 2 Aceh Tamiang telah melakukan perubahan terhadap metode pembelajaran, kurikulum pembelajaran serta sistem evaluasi dengan mengadopsi teknologi digital secara lebih luas, seperti penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran daring dan media sosial sebagai sarana pendukung. Transformasi ini juga mendorong peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan materi PAI. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi dan adaptasi dalam pembelajaran pasca pandemi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

The increasing spread of the COVID-19 encouraged learning systems to switch from traditional to online learning. It has brought significant problems and difficulties for students. The swift shift to fully online learning demands some adaptation. Students must learn to adapt their abilities because of the increasing use of technology in education. This study explored students' attitudes towards online learning and the reasons for their attitudes. A survey of 191 students from four State Islamic universities in Aceh was conducted online. A descriptive research framework was chosen, and a survey approach was used to collect data to gain knowledge of the situation and answer research questions. Students showed a positive attitude and satisfaction toward online learning during Covid-19. Even they realized how to handle technological tools applied during teaching and learning. Integrating technology into education does not challenge students as technical support and facilitates education to be easier. Keeping up with technology and infrastructural upgrades is vital to support online learning. The recent study has certain limitations. The small number of participants leads to incomplete data. Therefore, it is necessary to include more people to examine education in general.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the learning evaluation system for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at MTsN 1 Langsa by comparing two curriculum approaches, namely Curriculum 2013 (K13) and the Merdeka Curriculum. The main focus of this study is on the planning, implementation, and evaluation instruments applied by PAI teachers within the two curriculum frameworks. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving PAI teachers, the head of the madrasah, and students. The results indicate that the implementation of learning evaluation in Curriculum 2013 emphasizes structured assessments of knowledge, skills, and attitudes using standardized instruments. In contrast, the Merdeka Curriculum provides greater flexibility for teachers in selecting more contextual evaluation methods that are oriented toward students’ individual competencies. Nevertheless, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum presents greater challenges, particularly in terms of teacher readiness and the availability of flexible evaluation tools. This study concludes that each curriculum has its own strengths and limitations in the learning evaluation system, which need to be aligned with the needs and characteristics of learners. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective and adaptive evaluation policies for Islamic Religious Education at the madrasah level
