Abstract

Abstract: The educational trend for modern society is based on science and technology to achievesuccess for the future, so the excellent schools to be a very appropriate choice, SMA Negeri UnggulKabupaten Aceh Timur is one of the excellent school. The school puts more emphasis on scientificdisciplines, the observable fact, and it can only be proved empirically. The unreal and unseen arerejected as scientific knowledge. This research aims to determine the background, model and the opportunitiesas well as challenges in the implementation of integration in SMAN Unggul Kabupaten Aceh Timur. It isa kind of qualitative research with a view to understanding the education system that runs in the school.Researcher himself became an instrument in this research. Data and information in the field becomethe main requirement in data processing.The study found that dialogical didactic was the model implementedat SMAN Unggul through the curriculum 13 approach, and the teachers were aware of the dichotomiesof the disciplines. They were able to integrate the science and the divinity into the sub-theme in theclassroom instruction. The curriculum 13 sets the main and basic competence that leads to the realizationof God, the Almighty and at the same time serves as the goal of national education. In addition, thestudy revealed the strong internalization of Islamic values in extra-curricular activities carried out throughthe traditional Islamic educational system (dayah), the commemoration of Islamic festivals, the archerysport and other activities. In short, the educational system at SMAN Unggul is a public school featuringIslamic school characteristics.Kata Kunci: Model, Integrasi dan Desain Sekolah Negeri Unggul

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Etika Komunikasi Interpersonal Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Kepada Dosen Melalui Smartphone. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara kurang beretika dalam berkomunikasi dengan dosen saat menggunakan handphone. Di era modern seperti sekarang, mahasiswa sering berkomunikasi dengan dosen melalui perangkat elektronik dan platform digital, salah satunya adalah aplikasi WhatsApp. Namun, masih sering terjadi permasalahan dalam berkomunikasi, seperti kurangnya perhatian mahasiswa terhadap waktu dan penggunaan kalimat yang sopan. Metodologi kualitatif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Mahasiswa yang belajar ilmu komunikasi di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara menjadi sumber data penelitian ini. Para mahasiswa ini berkomunikasi dengan para profesor mereka melalui telepon genggam. Selain itu, berbagai artikel yang berkaitan dengan etika komunikasi interpersonal menyediakan data sekunder yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang menggabungkan wawancara dan observasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa ilmu komunikasi memiliki etika komunikasi interpersonal yang kuat ketika berinteraksi dengan dosen melalui smartphone. Dengan melihat data yang telah peneliti kumpulkan, yang menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menyapa dosen melalui aplikasi Whatsapp, memperkenalkan diri, berkomunikasi secara langsung, dan mengungkapkan rasa terima kasih kepada dosen ketika dosen merespon chatting mereka, peneliti dapat menarik kesimpulan mengenai perilaku mereka. Lingkungan sekitar kampus UIN Sumatera Utara yang merupakan lokasi yang islami menjadi elemen kedua yang mempengaruhi etika komunikasi mahasiswa ilmu komunikasi. Pengaruh dosen di kampus juga menjadi faktor lain, karena mereka sering mengajarkan mahasiswa teknik komunikasi yang efektif. Selain itu, media sosial juga menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi.

Abstract

This research analyses the relationship between memorizing the Al-Qur'an and students' academic achievement in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects at SD IT Tahfidzul Quran An Nahl. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design to measure the relationship between the amount and quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an and science learning outcomes for students in grades 4 and 5. The research sample consisted of 27 students who were selected purposively. Data on the amount of memorization was taken from the accumulated results of daily evaluations of Al-Qur'an memorization. In contrast, the quality of memorization was assessed based on tajwid, Maharaj, and fluency. Science learning outcomes were obtained from the final summative assessment of even grades 4 and 5 semesters. Data were analyzed using Pearson's descriptive and correlational statistics. The research results show a positive correlation between the amount of memorization and the quality of memorization and science learning outcomes. These findings indicate that memorizing the Qur'an contributes to students' spiritual development and positively impacts their academic achievement, especially in science subjects. This research provides important insights for developing an integrative curriculum, combining religious and academic education to achieve holistic development of students.

Abstract

Recently, the traditionalist ulama dayah has been questioned in Aceh. With the arrival of religious groups with a Wahhabi-Salafi pattern, Acehnese dayah ulama have lost their authority as agents or religious figures in Acehnese society. This study focuses on the authority of the dayah ulama and its role in contemporary Acehnese spiritual practice. This study aims to see the authority of the dayah ulama amid the development of Wahhabi-Salafi understanding in contemporary Aceh. By conducting interviews with the dayah ulama group, Wahhabi-Salafi groups, and related government institutions in the province of Aceh and using qualitative data analysis, the researcher found that the role of the dayah ulama was still strong in influencing the religious practice of contemporary Acehnese society as evidenced by the community's rejection of Salafist religious understanding. Fundamentalism developed in Aceh because it was not by understanding the dayah ulama, namely the doctrine of Ahlusunnah Waljamaah. In addition, there is support from the Aceh government for the religion of the dayah ulama, with evidence by the issuance of a circular regarding the obligation to worship according to the teachings and understanding of syafi'iyah in the province of Aceh.

Abstract

Continuing education at a boarding school is quite challenging for students. Not only are they faced with the complexity of other problems, which are not found in conventional schools. This study explores the factors that cause students attending Dayah Nurul Ulum, Peureulak, East Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia, to persist with the learning process in the boarding school system. Using a qualitative case study research approach, empirical data was collected through in-depth interviews with students who have attended the school for 6 years. Through Stolz’s adversity quotient framework, this study found that santris’ resilience in completing their education in dayah is supported by several factors, namely: (1) optimistic attitude, (2) adaptability, (3) emotion management skills, and (4) social support. This article also argues that their internal motivation and high self-esteem as santri are also reinforcing factors for their success to survive.

Abstract

The transformation of the Islamic education system includes goals, students, curriculum, methods, and infrastructure. In this case, in order to carry out activities in accordance with the guidance of Shara`, we should make the Koran and Hadith the basis for action and treatment in education. Based on the results of the literature study analysis, the transformation of the Islamic Education system in the digital era is justified in Islam as a tool to live life in accordance with existing sharia without having to oppose and deviate from shara`, especially in the implementation of Islamic Education. Therefore, the transformation of the Islamic education system makes the hadith as a basic material considering the educational process carried out by seeing humans as the subject of education, starting with the transformation of Islamic education which starts with the introduction of philosophical theology about humans as a caliph of God on this earth.

Abstract

Ethics in the profession is an essential foundation that regulates the behavior, responsibilities and actions of a professional. This article focuses on the close relationship between professional ethics and the concept of professionalism in a broader context. Explaining the definition, concept, and importance of professional ethics, this article also explores the main aspects of the code of ethics which serve as guidelines for professional behavior. An in-depth analysis of how professional ethics provides the basis for social responsibility and its impact on the performance and reputation of the profession is also presented. In addition, this article highlights the complexity in implementing and monitoring codes of ethics in various professions, and reviews the role of professional ethics in forming a strong professionalism paradigm in various work domains. By focusing on its relationship to the concept of professionalism, this article summarizes efforts to develop professional ethics as an important pillar in building and maintaining quality and integrity in the world of work.​

Abstract

The internalization of Islamic values must be done from the beginning, so that students understand and do not misunderstand gender equality in today's unstoppable flow of information. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of gendered media that are socialized through classroom learning. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample of this research is 28 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results of incorporating Islamic educational values through gender learning media in fourth grade students were successful, building on the problems that arose after researchers tried to introduce them into learning media by linking Islamic values. Students can recognize true Islamic values, especially those that are in accordance with gender roles that are in accordance with Islamic values. Students can recognize the significance of amanah content in learning
