Abstract

This study aims to apply time series graphs on stock of Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. and Anadolu Group with last observation carried forward (LOCF) imputation. The imputation was used because the data for the two companies had missing values on several dates. Missing value contained in the company Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. in Indonesia more than Anadolu Group in Turkey because of the difference in the number of holidays. Original data and data with complete dates are combined to form new data where missing values are seen on certain dates. The function used in the R program to form the graph is xts. However, the Date variable has a character class so it needs to be changed to the Date class. The xts function will error if the class is not changed. The modification also causes the horizontal axis of the graph to be replaced by the date. Based on the chart of stock prices and transaction volume of stock of the company Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. and Anadolu Group experienced increases, decreases, and is constant on several dates. Keywords: missing value, R programming, stock prices, transaction volume. MSC2020: 62M10, 91B84, 62-04

Abstract

This research identified the best imputation technique for the price of gold in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia which has been applied to the GSTAR model based on the smallest RMSE value. The moving average smoothing technique with k = 2, 3, 4, and 5 have been used in this study. However, the moving average smoothing technique with k = 3 is the best technique for importing gold price data during weekends in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia.

Abstract

Tourism activities are a necessity for individuals and communities because they provide a refreshing impact, both physically and spiritually. One tourism activity that can bring humans closer to nature and the Creator is ecotourism or ecological tourism. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing public perceptions and preferences in Jambi Province towards Ecological Tourism during the Covid-19 Pandemic, spanning the initial pandemic period, PSBB, PPKM, New Normal, and post-pandemic. This research method uses a quantitative approach with primary data from a survey in the form of questionnaires distributed to the community, which data analysis uses SEM-PLS assisted by Smart-PLS software. The results of this study suggest that based on the SEM-PLS path diagram, the path coefficients indicate that all aspects of visitor assessments of ecological tourism destinations in Jambi Province need to be improved, especially related to tourist destination cleanliness, ecological tourism accessibility, tourist attractions, and infrastructure conditions. Therefore, good cooperation between the community and the government is highly recommended in the management of ecological tourism areas in Jambi Province.

Abstract

Modules are teaching materials that are often used in lectures. Modules can be used independently by students and are not spared by the guidance of lecturers in the course. The purpose of this research is to develop a linear program module based on independent learning by using the following steps: defining, designing, and developing. The linear learning module based on independent learning is validated by media experts, material experts, and linguists. Measurement of the validity of this module with a validation sheet and practicality in the value of the questionnaire given to students. Module development is explained qualitatively while data from the validation sheet and questionnaire are analyzed quantitatively. The results of the validation of the presentation, content, and language by media experts, material experts, and linguists obtained values for presentation validation of 4.00, content validation obtained a value of 3.6, and language validation obtained a value of 3.83 which means that the module content the independent learning based linear program is valid in terms of presentation, content, and language. While the analysis of the practicalisation questionnaire by students obtained a value of 90% that the linear program module is based on independent learning in the practical category. Practicality can be seen from attractive and systematic appearance, using problem solving steps, clarity of material content presented, ease of use of modules, and words used are easy to understand according to characteristics college student.

Abstract

One of the primary data that can be used in research is village potential statistics (PODES). The data was obtained based on research in a certain period by the Statistics Indonesia (BPS). This study aims to visualize the percentage of schools in each city/district in Jambi Province using R programming based on PODES data in 2014 and 2019. In this study, we not only visualize but also how to build attractive graphics and arrange them starting from windows, graphic size, dimensions, color, horizontal axis, vertical axis, and others. Of course, the graph produced in this study is different from the basic plot found in the R program, although the process carried out is also more complicated. From 2014 to 2019, in general, within a period of 5 years there has been an increase in the number of schools in each city/district in Jambi Province. However, from the university level, the number decreased. In 2014 the number of universities in Jambi City was 32 but in 2019 the number decreased to 24. There are even interesting things in Kerinci and Tebo district. In 2014 there were no universities listed, while in 2019 there were 3. This also affects the percentage of education level in each city/district.
