Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the business model applied at "JW Roti" with the Business Model Canvas approach and establish a business strategy for the "JW Roti" business in Totolan Village. This research will be carried out from January 2022 to March 2022 in the "JW Roti" business in Totolan Village, West Kakas District, Minahasa Regency. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data originating from the internal and external environment. Primary data was obtained from internal parties, namely the owner of "JW Roti" and its employees and external parties, namely consumers of "JW Roti" while secondary data was obtained from agencies related to the research conducted. Sampling was carried out by direct observation, interviews and documentation at "JW Roti". From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the Business Model Canvas concept implemented by "JW Roti" includes (1) Customer segment, not distinguishing between customers; (2) Value Propositions (VP), producing new variants; (3) Channels, customers buy directly in stores; (4) Customer Relationship, implementing personal assistance relationships; (5) Revenue Streams, income through transactions; (6) Key Resources, land and buildings for production; (7) Key Activities, bread making; (8) Key Partnerships, suppliers of raw materials; and (9) Cost Structure, fixed costs and variable costs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the production process of processing, coconut coir  fishing nets and describe the flow of products, information flows and financial flows in the supply chain of fishing nets at PT. Berkat Abadi Korindo, Matuari District, Bitung City. This research was conducted for 2 months from September to October 2022. The sampling method used the purposive sampling method with the purpose and objective of the research, namely by selecting one of the staff/employees at PT. Berkat Abadi Korindo. The research uses primary data obtained from direct observation and interviews with respondents using a questionnaire. The analytical method used in this study is a descriptive analysis with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results showed that supply chain actors in product flow, information flow and financial flow were farmers, collectors, PT. Berkat Abadi Korindo, expedition services and customers. Product flow in the Jaring Ikan supply chain, namely the supply of raw materials from coconut coir supply farmers to PT. Berkat Abadi Korindo, coconut fiber rope products has been exported to customers using expedition services. The flow of information that flows, namely information about the supply of raw materials from suppliers to factories and then product information from factories to customers. The financial flow that flows is in the form of payments made which pay to suppliers in cash/cash while for customer payments to the factory, namely the transfer payment system.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether tomato farming in Tumaratas Dua Village, West Langowan District, Minahasa Regency is financially profitable. The sampling method was carried out by purposive sampling of farmers who harvested in the period June to September 2022. The number of samples taken in this research was 30 respondents. Determining the number of samples in this research was carried out using the Quota Sampling method. The data analysis method is carried out using a quantitative descriptive method by calculating costs, income, income, r/c ratio, break event point (BEP) and sensitivity analysis. Based on the results of financial calculations for tomato farming, it is known that the total production costs are IDR17.343.239/farmer amounting to IDR69.449.803/Ha income of IDR44.811.833/farmer amounting to IDR179.445.893/Ha and income of IDR62.150.628/farmer of IDR248.877.899/Ha in one planting season. The results of the feasibility analysis of tomato farming show an R/C Ratio value of 2.6. This shows that every IDR1 spent by farmers provides a profit of IDR2,6 and well worth the effort. The BEP price value shows the breakeven point at IDR2.139/kg and production BEP shows a breakeven point of 997kg. The total production of tomatoes in this study was 32,465kg/ha and the selling value of tomatoes in this study was IDR5.527/kg. The results of the sensitivity analysis in scenarios I and II show that the R/C ratio is positive >1 and is worth pursuing. The results of the sensitivity analysis for scenario I to a cost increase of 42.63% show an R/C Ratio value of 1.8. The results of the sensitivity analysis of scenario II to a 49% reduction in selling prices show an R/C ratio of 1.3.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of coconut farming income in Tumani Village, Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted for 2 months from June to July 2023 in Tumani Village, Maesaan Subdistrict, South Minahasa Regency. The data concluded included primary data and secondary data. Farmer data collection was carried out using the simple random sampling method with the analysis method using income analysis. Coconut farming income in Tumani Village, Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency with the sales method by selling copra gets a result of Rp6,760,918 per harvest which is obtained from total revenue of Rp9,279,700 per harvest minus the total cost of Rp2,518,782 per harvest and sales by selling coconut grains get a result of Rp2,557,546 per harvest which is obtained from total revenue of Rp3,876,600 per harvest minus the total cost of Rp1,322,176 per harvest.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of paddy rice farming in Mekaruo Village, West Dumoga District Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months, from November 2022 to January 2023. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The sample selection was carried out using a predetermined sampling method with proportional levels (Quota Sampling). The population was divided into three land areas based on the area planted with paddy rice, namely a land area of 1ha, (land area of 1.50-2ha) and a land area of ˃2.50-6ha. The number of samples is 25 people from 85 farmer populations. The results of this study show that the income of lowland rice farmers in Mekokuo Village, Dumoga Barat District Bolaang Mongondow Regency per farmer on land area 1ha, 1.50-2ha and > 2.5-6ha respectively is Rp7.862.428, Rp17.728.852, and Rp48.067.667. This shows a tendency that the larger the land cultivated, the higher the income per farmer from paddy rice farming.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much or how low the costs, receipts and income of lowland rice farmers in Tumani Village, Maesaan District are and to find out what problems lowland rice farmers face in running their business. This research was carried out for 3 months, namely from July 2022 to September 2022. This research used 2 types of data, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through direct interviews with respondents using a list of questions and secondary data was obtained from various sources related to the required data such as the Tumani Village office, the Maesaan District BPP Office, and even scientific writing. Sampling in this research used the method (Simple Random Sampling) or simple random. The number of farmers was 34 farmers and the respondents studied were 10 people or 30 percent of the total respondents. The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis in determining production costs, revenue and R/C. Based on the results of research on lowland rice farming in Tumani Village, it is different. The amount of income received by farmers depends on the area of land owned by the farmer and whether rice farming in Tumani Village is feasible or profitable. We can see this from the results of the R/C analysis, namely 3.95, which means more than 1 and the average income of all respondent farmers in Tumani Village is IDR 19.289.769.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out how much income of Cap Tikus maker contributes to family income in Pinaling Village, East Amurang District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out for 4 months, namely November 2022 to February 2023. The research location was in Pinaling Village, East Amurang District, South Minahasa Regency. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with 15 respondents based on a list of questions, while secondary data was obtained from other sources related to the research. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis by calculating income and continuing by calculating the contribution of the rat stamp maker's income to family income. The results of this research are (1) The average income of stamp Tikus makers is IDR 3,230,026 (2) The contribution of the stamp mouse maker's income to family income in Pinaling Village, East Amurang District, South Minahasa Regency is 42.10 percent.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and describe the management of the coconut flour supply chain at PT. Royal Coconut, North Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 2 months starting from June 2022 to July 2022. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with the company, suppliers and coconut farmers located at PT. Royal Coconut, while secondary, was obtained from relevant literature as well as documents and reports held by the company from related agencies. The sample used is snowball sampling, namely a technique for determining samples that are initially small in number, then increase in size. The respondents used were 5 traders and 1 coconut farmer. Based on the research results, it shows that the coconut flour supply chain actors PT. Royal Coconut is a supplier of raw materials including farmers, farmers who are also collectors, factories, namely PT. Royal Coconut, distributor to Surabaya head office, expedition services, retailers which are export destination countries and end up with consumers. The flow of information begins with the need for coconut flour from the Surabaya head office, coconut flour factories and then to farmers and growers who are also collectors. Financial flows take the form of consumer level payments to importirs, importirs to the Surabaya head office and then to the PT coconut flour factory. Royal Coconut is used for factory operations and purchasing coconut raw materials. The supply chain flow of coconut raw material material starts from raw material suppliers, namely farmers, collectors and growers who also act as collecting traders, then to the PT coconut flour factory. Royal Coconut Surabaya Head Office to destination countries and final consumers. Raw material procurement activities are carried out by suppliers who are divided into several areas in North Sulawesi, namely North Bolaang Mongondow, Minahasa, North Minahasa.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the marketing mix at the Cake and Bakery "Hari-hari" business in Manado City. This research was conducted for 1 month, from June to July 2023. The sampling method used in the study was accidental sampling. Primary data was collected through interviews guided by a list of questions that had been prepared previously and the results of direct observations at the research site. Secondary data is obtained from the library, namely written sources and books obtained from local books and the internet through google scholar in the form of books, articles, journals and theses related to the research topic, namely the marketing mix in business. The data analysis method used in the research is descriptive. The results of the study explain that the marketing mix in the Cake and Bakery "Hari-hari" business has not fully implemented the marketing mix perfectly where the seven elements of the product marketing mix, price, promotion, place, people, process, physical appearance have been implemented properly but there is one element that has not been maximized, namely promotion. The current promotion is not maximized.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a strategy for developing organic vegetable farming in the Syalom Farmer Group in Rurukan Village, Tomohon City. This research was carried out from April to June 2024 in Rurukan Village, Tomohon City. The sampling method in this research is purposive sampling. The data collection method used in this research is a survey method by collecting various information from several parties and conducting FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Secondary data was obtained from literature and books related to research. The data analysis used in this research is SWOT Analysis. Based on the results of research, the strategy for developing organic vegetable farming in the Syalom Farmers Group is in quadrant I, the strategy used in current conditions is to support aggressive growth policies, namely the SO strategy: 1. Improving product quality and collaborating with the government in expanding local markets as well as internationally. 2. Utilize suitable land by implementing and managing good planting patterns to produce varied products and get the right target consumers. 3. Participate in ongoing training and counseling for farmers to increase insight, skills in techniques, production and market opportunities for organic products.
