Abstract

This study aims to determine product flow, information flow, and financial flow of potato commodities in Makaaruyen Village, Modoinding District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 8 months, from March to October 2022. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis using tables and charts. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with respondents using a structured questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from offices, districts, village offices, related agencies and journals relevant to research. The results showed that the potato supply chain in Makaaruyen Village consisted of farmers, collectors, traders and retailers. The flow of potato products starts from farmers who produce potatoes, collectors who buy potatoes from farmers, then retail traders who sell potatoes to end consumers and there are inter-island traders. The price level in the product flow varies in each supply chain actor. The financial flow starts from retailers who buy potatoes to collectors, then collectors buy potatoes from farmers with a payment system made entirely in cash. The flow of information flows from two directions, the first direction is that farmers inform collectors about the products harvested, collector traders inform inter-island traders and also inform retailers about the number of requests to farmers. The second stream of collecting traders informs farmers about the volume of crabs requested, the purchase price, the time to return the product and information about the supply of the product.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the coffee supply chain that occurs at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi, Tana Toraja Regency. This research was conducted from February to August 2022. The selection of respondents was carried out using the Snowball Sampling method. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The primary data collected was obtained directly from the results of interviews and through questionnaires which were distributed to one respondent in the company, two collecting traders, sixty five farmers. So that the total respondents in this study were 68 people. Secondary data were obtained from related agencies, namely through the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), books, the internet, journal articles, thesis articles related to this research topic. The results of this study indicate that the supply chain at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi, Tana Toraja Regency has two sources of raw materials, namely from the company's own coffee plantations and from local farmers through collectors. PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi's supply chain product flow is in the form of Green Bean coffee beans. PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi's supply chain financial flow is using a purchase and sale transaction system, namely a cash system and interbank transfers. The supply chain information flow of PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi occurs in two directions between the actors involved in the supply chain.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profit of Nur Hayati's banana chip business in Kinali Village, Kawangkoan District, Minahasa Regency. The data analysis method was carried out using descriptive analysis method and presented in tabular form, then measured by the Revenue Cost Analysis (R/C) formula. The data collection method in this study was carried out by collecting primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the parties concerned based on a list of questions (questionnaires) that had been prepared, as well as direct field observations. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained via the internet using Google Scholar. The results of this study show that Nur Hayati's banana chip business has a profit of Rp. 27,600,000 every month and is supported by an R/C Ratio value of 4.7, which means that Nur Hayati's banana chip business is experiencing big profits because the R/C Ratio value is > 1.

Abstract

Coastal area have slum settlements that are synonymous with a lack of facilities, infrastructure and facilities and can be categorized as uninhabitable houses, and are in locations that are not suitable for formal settlements activities. However, during the presurvey of the houses of the residents of Maasing Village, most of them had fairly good socio-economic conditions and very decent houses to live in. This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of the community and describe the socio-economic conditions of the people on the coast. The research was conducted at Boulevard 2, Maasing Tuminting Village, Manado City. The data collection method is a survey. Interview data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of the study show that coastal communities have inappropriate social conditions where most of them live under one roof with more than two families, some have a 17x9 house area occupied by twenty people with semi-permanent housing conditions, some have a 6x8 house area occupied by nine people but only has one kitchen. Most of the informants have places to live that are not slums, have very densely populated environmental conditions but still have small vacant lands. The people of the Boulevard 2 coast are not active in organizational activities or the community in the village. However, in the economic condition of the coastal community of Boulevrad 2, Maasing Village has a very good economy, where the income is Rp3.000.000 to Rp8.000.000 per month and most of them have main jobs and even have side jobs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and describe the management of the coconut flour supply chain at PT. Royal Coconut, North Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 2 months starting from June 2022 to July 2022. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with the company, suppliers and coconut farmers located at PT. Royal Coconut, while secondary, was obtained from relevant literature as well as documents and reports held by the company from related agencies. The sample used is snowball sampling, namely a technique for determining samples that are initially small in number, then increase in size. The respondents used were 5 traders and 1 coconut farmer. Based on the research results, it shows that the coconut flour supply chain actors PT. Royal Coconut is a supplier of raw materials including farmers, farmers who are also collectors, factories, namely PT. Royal Coconut, distributor to Surabaya head office, expedition services, retailers which are export destination countries and end up with consumers. The flow of information begins with the need for coconut flour from the Surabaya head office, coconut flour factories and then to farmers and growers who are also collectors. Financial flows take the form of consumer level payments to importirs, importirs to the Surabaya head office and then to the PT coconut flour factory. Royal Coconut is used for factory operations and purchasing coconut raw materials. The supply chain flow of coconut raw material material starts from raw material suppliers, namely farmers, collectors and growers who also act as collecting traders, then to the PT coconut flour factory. Royal Coconut Surabaya Head Office to destination countries and final consumers. Raw material procurement activities are carried out by suppliers who are divided into several areas in North Sulawesi, namely North Bolaang Mongondow, Minahasa, North Minahasa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the supply chain of copra commodities at PT Samudra Manado City. This research was conducted from June to October 2023. Sampling in this study used snowball sampling method (chain method), with a total sample of 17 farmers. This research used primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used was descriptive analysis to explain the process of product flow, financial flow, and information flow. The results showed that the supply chain at PT Samudra Kota Manado is based on three flows in the supply chain, namely the flow of products from upstream to downstream starting from coconut farmers bringing coconuts to the shelter and then giving them to copra workers to be processed until they become copra. The supply chain of the PT Samudra company is very different from other places, the difference is very clear because in the PT Samudra company the owner controls all parts starting from land leasing, coconut farmers, until the coconut processing stage until it becomes copra, and also to the storage warehouse.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing margin of Stekaifarm hydroponic lettuce vegetables in Tomohon city, Wailan Village, North Tomohon District.This study uses primary data types and secondary data. Primary data obtained by themselves from observations that have been carried out directly at the research location as well as from interviews with respondents. Meanwhile, secondary data is data sourced from data that has been issued by Stekaifarm Sampling is carried out by interviewing farmers to find out other sample sources (Snowball Sampling). The number of research samples was 1 corn farmer and 3 retailers. The results of the study were analyzed using marketing margin analysis. The results of the study were analyzed using marketing margin analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there are only 2 levels of Stekaifarm lettuce marketing with 1 zero-level marketing pattern and 3 one-level marketing patterns. From the results of the study, the margin obtained by each institution varies in pattern I marketing level one margin obtained IDR30,000 with a profit margin of IDR19,925, pattern channel II level one IDR25,000 with profit margin IDR16,499 and pattern channel III level one IDR25,000 with profit margin of IDR23,525. The largest margin is found in the channel I pattern while the largest profit margin is in the channel III pattern. There is a difference in profit margin in each institution because the costs incurred are also different from the pattern of the first channel which has the largest marketing costs because the marketing channel is the longest.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the relationship between the leadership of the farmer group leader and the effectiveness of the “Tekad Bersama” farmer group in Minanga Satu Village, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from September to November 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with members of farmer groups using a list of questions that had been developed directly using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Minanga Satu village office, as well as literature studies from the results of previous studies related to research and articles from print media and the internet. The method used in sampling is done by census, where all members of the population are used as samples with the number of members of the farmer group is 15 people. While the analytical method used is the Spearman Rank Coefficient Correlation Test (rs). The results showed that the leadership of the collective determination farmer group in Minanga Satu village was in the high category. The effectiveness of the Tekad Bersama farmer group in Minanga Satu Village is in the high category. From the results of the Spearman Rank test and the significance test at the 95% confidence level, it was found that the relationship between the leadership of the head of the farmer group and the effectiveness of the farmer group had a significant relationship.

Abstract

The study aims to identify supply chains based on product flow, information flow, financial flow and analyze the level of marketing efficiency in the copra commodity supply chain. This research was carried out for three months, from August to October 2021, which took place in Lowian Village, Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. This study uses primary data and secondary data. The population in this study were all coconut farmers and copra collectors. Sampling using a simple random sampling method (simple random sampling) obtained 50 farmers from a population of 248 farmers and 3 traders collectors. The results showed that the supply chain in Lowian Village was based on product flow from upstream to downstream starting from copra farmers, collectors, and copra processing factories. The flow of information flows from two directions, namely the first direction the factory provides information to traders about the quality and price of copra needed then traders provide price information to farmers, the second direction is farmers provide information to traders about the quality of copra sold then traders will inform the factory about the volume marketing of copra to be sold. As for the financial flows from downstream to upstream, starting from factories that buy copra from collecting traders via bank transfer, then collecting traders buy copra from farmers with a cash payment system. The level of marketing efficiency in the copra supply chain seen from the total marketing margin, marketing costs and profits has been efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze public perceptions of the development of mangrove tourism in Budo Village, Wori District, North Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out from September to November 2021. The data used came from primary data and secondary data and then analyzed descriptively. Sampling was determined intentionally or purposive sampling, with the number of respondents taken as many as 20 people. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive data analysis using Likert scale measurement using data tables and numbers. The results showed that the community's perception of mangrove forest tourism in Budo Village had a very good category because the community strongly agreed with the government program in the aspect of mangrove management as well as the utilization of mangrove resources and protection of the Mangrove Forest and in addition through the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES). Mangrove forest is used as a tourist attraction that brings benefits to the community so that it can generate income and become jobs for the community in Budo Village.
