Abstract

This research discusses the goods distribution system in an urban area by considering an odd-even vehicle license plate rule. This rule enables the vehicles with the even-number plate to pass particular roads on even-number dates and vice versa during specific time intervals determined by the authority. This rule is potentially rising the company’s logistic cost up to 20%. Therefore, a Mixed-Integer Linear Programming model is developed to solve the problem. The performance of the model is tested on some numerical examples. Computational results show that the model generates optimal solutions with numerous computational times. The instances of customers located randomly and clustered manner (i.e., mix) are arduous to solve. The average computational time of these instances is 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has caused changes in people’s behavior, such as increased use of online shops, working at home (WFH), and other social activities carried out virtually or online. One of the policies in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic is social distancing or physical distancing, which causes people to keep their distance and avoid crowds to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. In addition, the existence of social distancing or physical distancing policies has resulted in high product purchases online, one of which is product purchases in food delivery applications. Now, on the food delivery application is not policy regarding halal awareness so that purchasing products online makes customers see common risks such as health risks, psychological risks, environmental risks, social risks, quality risks, financial risks, and time-loss risk that affects customer trust, customer satisfaction, and purchase intention. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors of customer attitudes and behavior (general risks) that affect customer satisfaction and trust and the effect of awareness, satisfaction, and trust of halal awareness on the intention to buy halal products in food delivery applications.

Abstract

Organic waste bioconversion through maggot cultivation is believed to be a solution for managing organic waste based on a circular economy. Maggot cultivation has been widely carried out by Bank Sampah managed by the community in Indonesia, one of which is located in Bengle Village, Karawang District. Bank Sampah (BS) of Bengle Village has been able to reduce organic waste and produce Kasgot, reaching 75.00% and 25.00%, respectively. This study aims to examine nutritional content of maggot and characteristics of kasgot produced by BS of Bengle Village. The results showed that fresh and dried maggot contained quite high fat and protein, of 38.99%; 29.65% and 40.94%; 34.75%, respectively. These values make both maggots feasible as sources of animal fat and protein for poultry. Furthermore, Kasgot contains N-total, P2O5, K2O, Fe, and Pb each of 3.98%; 2.80%; 3.32%; 332.18 ppm; and 0.26 ppm has met the minimum specifications for solid organic fertilizer and compost from organic waste. However, the C/N ratio (6.40) and moisture content (22.77%) did not meet these standards and indicated that Kasgot was not stable as an organic fertilizer. Despite that, the quality of Kasgot can be improved through advanced fermentation processes such as vermicomposting so that it can be used as a substitute for inorganic fertilizers for plant growth and improve soil conditions.

Abstract

Information and communication technology that is developing rapidly, especially in the world of education, makes online learning easier. E-learning development does not only present online lesson materials but must be communicative and interesting. Online learning must be used to its full potential in order to experience its benefits. Insufficient user behavior can be caused by several factors. UTAUT is one of the latest technology acceptance models. There is a significant influence on the independent hedonic motivation variable on the dependent variable use behavior through the intervening behavioral intention variable. The moderating variable shows that age, gender and experience are not variables that moderate the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable.
