Abstract

Abstract – Broiler chickens or broiler chickens are one of the popular sources of nutrition in Indonesia. The production of broilers reaches 3.15 billion heads, with the most production center on Java’s island. The Covid-19 disaster that hit Indonesia caused broilers’ production to decrease due to the government’s social restrictions. To maximize production and reduce production efficiency, artificial Intelligent application innovations are carried out for temperature, humidity, and gas control in broiler chicken coops. Artificial Intelligent methods of developing machines can think like humans to help control and make decisions. This artificial Intelligent model uses a fuzzy logic Pulse Width Modulator (PWM)model. The device used for control utilizes Internet of Things technology with a microcontroller as its primary device and sensor as an environmental data reader. The microcontroller used is ESP32 which has been embedded with Wifi to facilitate the transmission of data to the server. To read the sensors’ environmental conditions used by temperature sensors, humidity uses DHT11 and ammonia gas using MQ2. Environment data is sent to the server, which is useful for the user monitoring the cage environment’s condition remotely and, if needed, can be controlled by using the application interface. In this research, the process of system development using waterfall method, namely needs analysis, design, implementation and testing. The system’s application results were tested using two models, namely, trying the sensor reading value compared to the weight on the hygrometer and observation of the reaction of chickens in the cage. The test results obtained the difference in value between the sensor and hygrometer can be tolerated and the chicken reaction following the system’s cooling status.

Abstract

This research aims to increase brand awareness and competitiveness of Bathok Koi coconut shell waste handicraft products through the implementation of digital marketing strategies. The program involved intensive training for micro business partners and university students, covering digital marketing skills such as social media management, product photography, and creative content creation for digital platforms. The results of the program showed an increase in participants' understanding of branding and digital marketing which resulted in increased interactions with consumers and increased visits to Bathok Koi's social media profiles. In conclusion, continuous assistance in digital marketing is needed to encourage business sustainability and strengthen Bathok Koi's position in local and regional markets

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Blitar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penyuntingan video di kalangan guru sekolah dan instruktur lembaga pelatihan di Kota Blitar. Dalam era digital saat ini, kemampuan menyunting video menjadi semakin penting dalam proses pembuatan video pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 50 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang pendidikan dan terdiri dari beberapa metode pengajaran interaktif, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi pasca-pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan peserta, di mana 85% peserta merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menggunakan perangkat lunak penyuntingan video setelah pelatihan. Umpan balik dari peserta sangat positif, dengan 87% menyatakan kepuasan terhadap materi dan metode pengajaran yang diterapkan. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan waktu dalam penerapan teknik baru juga teridentifikasi. Sebagai tindak lanjut, peserta menunjukkan minat untuk membentuk kelompok belajar dan meminta pelatihan lanjutan guna mendalami teknik penyuntingan yang lebih kompleks. Dengan keterampilan baru yang diperoleh, diharapkan para pendidik dapat menciptakan konten pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan inovatif, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat langsung bagi peserta tetapi juga berpotensi memberikan dampak jangka panjang bagi kualitas pendidikan di lingkungan peserta. Tulisan ini menyajikan temuan dan rekomendasi untuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The integration of digital technologies in broiler chicken farming offers practical solutions to persistent challenges such as environmental monitoring, feed management, and livestock health. This study presents the development of a mobile-based broiler farming information system integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) devices to enhance operational efficiency, particularly for small- and medium-scale farmers. The system provides real-time monitoring and control via mobile devices, featuring environmental condition tracking, feed and water level notifications, inventory management, and performance analytics. There was a use of waterfall software development methodology with phases of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The system makes use of an ESP32 microcontroller, DHT22 temperature and humidity sensors, MQ-135 ammonia gas sensors, and ultrasonic sensors for feed and water level monitoring. The data from the sensors is transferred to a cloud server and is fetched through a user-friendly mobile application. Tests indicate that the system supports effective real-time monitoring of coop conditions, feed and water control, and prompt response to environmental variations by means of automated alerts. It also supports decision-making through access to past data and performance reports. Despite these advantages, there are still limitations pertaining to internet connectivity, sensor stability, and farmer computer literacy. The novelty of this research is its comprehensive, mobile-accessible IoT solution that combines environmental monitoring with the large-scale farm management operations, completing shortcomings of earlier systems with specialized, isolated monitoring.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan semakin pesat, menjadikan perannya sangat signifikan dalam disrupsi industri 4.0. Teknologi kecerdasan buatan dalam bidang machine learning menjadi bidang ilmu yang terus dikembangkan para ilmuwan di dunia. SMA Katolik Diponegoro merupakan salah satu sekolah yang beralamatkan di Jl. Diponegoro No.32, Bendogerit, Kec. Sananwetan, Kota Blitar, Jawa Timur. Masuknya materi Kecerdasan Buatan pada mata pelajaran informatika kelas XI menjadikan pengalaman baru bagi guru dan siswa SMA sehingga perlunya pembaharuan pengetahuan terkait pembuatan perangkat mobile dengan library kecerdasan buatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi siswa kelas XI SMA Katolik Diponegoro dalam pengembangan perangkat mobile dengan library kecerdasan buatan sehingga siswa mendapatkan pengalaman baru dalam penerapan teknologi kecerdasan buatan pada aplikasi yang dikembangkan. Kegiatan dimulai dari pengenalan kecerdasan buatan dan machine learning, pengembangan perangkat mobile, dan menerapkan kecerdasan buatan dalam pengembangan perangkat mobile. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi tahapan pra pelatihan, pelatihan, dan pasca pelatihan. Untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman siswa maka dilakukan pre tests dan post tests. Berdasarkan hasil yang pre test dan post test, pemahaman siswa terhadap materi mengalami peningkatan dengan hasil 84,71%.

Abstract

Desain grafis merupakan suatu bentuk komunikasi yang memanfaatkan suatu gambar sebagai media dalam menyampaikan pesan. Dengan pemanfaatan desain grafis, kita dapat menyampaikan pesan dengan mudah dipahami. Salah satu bentuk produk dari desain grafis adalah poster. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta (siswa/siswi SMAN 1 Talun) tentang pengenalan tentang prinsip dasar desain dan teori psikologi warna serta memberikan pelatihan tentang pembuatan desain poster dengan menggunakan CorelDraw. Kegiatan PKM yang berjudul pelatihan pembuatan poster menggunakan coreldraw di SMAN 1 Talun dilakukan secara tatap muka di laboratorium komputer SMAN 1 Talun. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Kamis tanggal 09 Maret 2023 berlangsung mulai pukul 08:00 WIB sampai dengan pukul 15:00 WIB. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan PKM ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi dan workshop (pelatihan).  Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM menunjukkan bahwa 97,22% (35 peserta dari 36 peserta) peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan melakukan desain poster setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini.

Abstract

There is an increasing need for efficient and effective systems to monitor and control the nutrition of horticultural crops using the Internet of Things (IoT). This research aims to develop a system that can monitor and control the nutrition of horticultural crops with high accuracy using IoT-based sensors and actuators. The research method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which starts with listening to users to obtain data on problem needs, building systems by making mockups, and rapidly designing devices according to user needs. The developed IoT system was successfully implemented in the natural environment with Android-based software development. The monitoring data from the database shows that this IoT tool works well during cultivation, and there is no time lag in data retrieval. Monitored data includes pH, water temperature, air temperature, EC, and data recording time. IoT tools for nutrient control and monitoring can also help in irrigation and proper maintenance of plant nutrient needs. The developed IoT system can be used as a solution to optimize nutrition in horticultural crops. This system can control and monitor nutrients in plants using parameters such as water temperature, EC, humidity, air temperature, and water temperature measured by sensors. IoT tools for nutrient control and monitoring can also help maintain plant nutrient requirements through proper irrigation. Therefore, the development and implementation of IoT systems on a larger scale is recommended to increase efficiency and effectiveness in agriculture.
