Abstract

The purpose of this edifying is to explain and analyze the influence of the competence ofsmall and medium industry actors to the adoption of IT through the readiness of small andmedium industries in entering the Industrial revolution of 4.0. This research uses aquantitative approach using explanatory research. The population of this research is thesmall and medium industry of the food and beverage sector in Blitar city totaling 2896 SMIactors. To determine the sample of the population, researchers used the formula of Yamaneto obtain a total number of respondents 97 people. The sampling technique of this researchis a random sampling technique with the number of samples taken proportionally followingthe number of SMI actors in Blitar City. The method of collecting data using questionnairesis distributed to respondents and is calculated on a Likert scale. Data is analyzed using thepath analysis using SPSS. Data analysis methods consist of instrument tests, descriptivestatistical analysis, inferential statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing with pathanalysis. The results of this study showed that the competency of SMI practitioners, SMIreadiness has a positive and significant influence on IT adoption

Abstract

The community service program in Dawuhan Village, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency, focused on the development of the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) "Mbah Juki" cassava crackers, which faced significant challenges in pricing, production efficiency, and marketing. The primary objective of the program was to enhance participants' managerial and technical capacities through training in operational systems and pricing strategies. The methodology involved problem identification through surveys, training, direct mentoring, and periodic evaluations. The results demonstrated improved participant abilities in setting more strategic pricing, enhancing production efficiency, and effectively utilizing social media and packaging design to attract customers. Evaluations indicated significant improvements in efficiency and product competitiveness, contributing positively to business sustainability and local economic empowerment. Overall, the community service activities successfully met the established targets and had a positive impact on both the MSME and the local community.

Abstract

This research aims to increase brand awareness and competitiveness of Bathok Koi coconut shell waste handicraft products through the implementation of digital marketing strategies. The program involved intensive training for micro business partners and university students, covering digital marketing skills such as social media management, product photography, and creative content creation for digital platforms. The results of the program showed an increase in participants' understanding of branding and digital marketing which resulted in increased interactions with consumers and increased visits to Bathok Koi's social media profiles. In conclusion, continuous assistance in digital marketing is needed to encourage business sustainability and strengthen Bathok Koi's position in local and regional markets

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development strategy of local wisdom-based sociopreneurship in the home industry center of Kampung Bathok Blitar. This village has potential products made from coconut shells that reflect cultural values and environmental sustainability. The integration of local values such as the use of natural materials by utilizing coconut shell waste, the spirit of mutual cooperation, and the preservation of cultural arts characterize the practice of sociopreneurship in the area. However, challenges such as limited market access, lack of production technology, and low participation of the younger generation hinder business development. Through a qualitative approach, this research identifies development strategies that include product diversification, digital marketing, strategic partnerships and human resource training. These strategies aim to improve business competitiveness, expand market access, and involve the younger generation in preserving cultural values. The results show that a local wisdom-based approach can be a sustainable sociopreneurship model, providing positive economic, social, and environmental impacts.

Abstract

The opak gambir Home Industry supports the green economy concept by utilizing local materials and environmentally friendly production techniques. IRT Opak Gambir has attempted to reach a wider market through digital technology, but faces obstacles due to lack of competence in optimizing digital marketing. To overcome this, assistance will be provided in strengthening the opak gambir market through branding awareness with digital visual branding and website development. This assistance aims to improve partner skills in implementing digital branding, which includes creating attractive visual content and optimizing websites to reach a wider audience. With better branding awareness, IRT opak gambir is expected to increase brand awareness and competitiveness in the digital era. The results of this activity are expected to support sustainable business growth and increase market acceptance of opak gambir products, in line with the green economy concept being promoted.

Abstract

The development of digital technology currently directs people to transact using mobile payments. An efficient payment process or one of them is known as Mobile Payment has its own market compared to the three other services offered by Fintech. This strongly supports the development of the digital economy in Indonesia. This study tries to formulate a conceptual framework and research model developed with the theory of innovation resistance. Methods and models of conceptual formulation are carried out in several stages; literature study, model adoption, and instrument development. Based on theoretical and empirical studies on Innovation Resistance, this study describes the constructs and propositions used as the basis for building a conceptual model. The results of the instrument development can be used for further research.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of MSMEs, it requires business actors to innovate. Innovating is carried out according to the needs and tastes of today's consumers. Hundreds of MSMEs in Jember can still survive running their businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic, so they should be used as examples of best practices for other MSMEs in Indonesia. One of the products that are currently superior is souvenirs from Jember Regency. This study aims to identify and examine business innovations carried out by the souvenir center of Jember Regency.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi di berbagai aspek kehidupan dapat terlihat salah satunya dari kemunculan berbagai aplikasi, termasuk aplikasi mobile payment. Hal ini sangat menunjang perkembangan perekonomian digital Indonesia. Maka pemerintah mendorong pelaku pelaku UMK untuk ikut memperkuat para pelaku usaha agar siap bersaing secara global, sehingga ekonomi yang dijalankan dengan berbasis go digital. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji perilaku niat berkelanjutan adopsi mobile payment UMK di Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Pemilik UMK di Jawa Timur yang berjumlah 191.312 UMK dengan jumlah sampel 400 UMK. Teknik sampling penelitian ini adalah teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar ke responden dan dihitung dengan skala likert. Alat analisis menggunakan alat analisis SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa semua memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan, kecuali Confirmation memiliki pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap variabel Satisfaction.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in the snack industry sector, such as cassava crackers, play an important role in supporting the Indonesian economy through job creation and contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, MSMEs often face challenges in maintaining and expanding their market share amid increasingly fierce competition. This study aims to analyse the role of social capital in strengthening market segmentation strategies at Sadariyah Cassava Crackers Business in Blitar Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The informants in this study were five people, consisting of business owners, employees, regular customers, and local community leaders. The results show that social capital, which includes strong social networks, trust between businesses and consumers, and the application of local social norms such as gotong royong, contributes significantly to expanding the market and maintaining customer loyalty. The market segmentation strategy applied based on demographic, psychographic, and consumer behaviour factors proved effective in reaching various customer groups. These findings imply that the synergy between social capital and the right market segmentation strategy can improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in a competitive market and promote sustainable business growth.
