Abstract

his research was conducted aiming to find a model of developing entrepreneurship training through a Project Based Learning approach based on contextual business problems, applying planned businesses in real terms. This model is expected to be a form of community based education (fostering active participation of students in education and training) that is able to form new entrepreneurs to benefit, create jobs to reduce unemployment and poverty in Indonesia. This study uses qualitative research methods with a simulation observation research strategy. Observations were made on student business pilot groups, each group consisting of 4-5 students taking the Entrepreneurship course. The results obtained by the development model of entrepreneurship training in students. From the results of the entrepreneurship mapping, students can plan businesses according to their interests and expertise and through the training development model students can solve problems in business plans related to leadership, courage in taking risks, perseverance to focus on doing work, the level of discipline so students can successfully build businesses new business. Abstract

The development of proper entrepreneurship for students in order to produce independent and sustainable entrepreneurs is needed because there are many ideas and creativity of students to open a business, but they stop at the last activity of lectures, namely the entrepreneurship bazaar. Problems with limited manpower, timely service, marketing and place of business make their business unsustainable. The purpose of this activity is to develop entrepreneurial programs run by students who are profitable and can create jobs and assist the government in alleviating unemployment and poverty. The result of this Entrepreneurship Development Program activity is that 20 student tenants have been formed.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum has been implemented in the Education unit. The Merdeka Curriculum consists of intracurricular activities and projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. The project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students is a supporter of intracurricular activities in the independent curriculum. This community service aims to increase the understanding of teachers and students at SDN Sumber 1 regarding the Design of Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile Project. This activity was carried out in 3 stages, namely the preparation, implementation and monitoring evaluation stages. The results of this activity are increasing student motivation, innovation and creativity, packaged in activities involving the use of plastic straws to make crafts and training in making hand washing soap as assistance in designing a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students which is going well. Participants seemed enthusiastic in taking part in activities which were expected to bring innovation and creativity in making a potential product. Activity participants also carried out the practice of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students independently according to what had been trained so that it could be said that the understanding of teachers and students related to the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students increased. One form of P5 activity for students can be the use of plastic straw waste into crafts.  Plastic straws are a raw material that is very commonly used in various products, such as food and drink packaging. However, the use of plastic straws can also be an environmental problem if they are not processed properly. Another form of P5 activity for SDN Sumber 1 Surakarta schools can be making hand washing soap. The importance of using soap that is safe to use needs to be applied to schools.

Abstract

The creative industry is one of the strategic sectors that can significantly drive national economic growth. In this context, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the creative industry, particularly the culinary sector, demonstrate great potential in creating economic value while also opening up employment opportunities. This study aims to develop a business sustainability model for creative industry MSMEs through business diversification and the implementation of environmentally friendly human resource management practices. The research focuses on culinary sector MSMEs in the city of Surakarta as a representation of the rapidly growing and highly competitive creative industry. Data collection methods include literature review, surveys, and interviews with culinary sector MSMEs in the city of Surakarta. The results of this study are expected to contribute theoretically to the development of a business sustainability model and serve as a practical guide for SMEs in enhancing the resilience and sustainability of their businesses amid the dynamic, competitive, and sustainable business environment

Abstract

Future internal combustion engines can achieve zero carbon emissions by using ammonia, an efficient hydrogen energy carrier with a greater energy density and a more sophisticated production-storage-transportation lifecycle. Ammonia fuel's laminar flame speed is comparatively sluggish, nevertheless, which leads to less than ideal combustion performance. Investigating the impact of direct injection and the multi-coil method on ammonia spark ignition engine performance was the goal of this study. The simulation's output was then verified using standard diesel fuel and the literature on combustion performance for RCEM engines. At four SOIs between 40o and 0o BTDC, with varying multi-coil spark timing of ignition under high compression ratio of 17, the combustion performance and emission production of ammonia direct injection were examined using the created numerical model. As the timing of the spark increased, there was a tendency for the velocity and turbulence intensity to rise and then decline. Increased spark timing can improve ignition stability, reduce combustion time, reduce cooling loss, and boost output power. Ammonia flame propagation is sensitive to temperature and flow field. Regretfully, when the spark timing increases, the NOx emission progressively increases. By offering a basic ignition method for ammonia engines, this result holds promise for the transition of internal combustion engines to zero carbon ammonia engines.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas keberlanjutan bisnis UMKM kuliner melalui penguatan strategi diversifikasi usaha dan penerapan praktik Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM). Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan, pendampingan, dan kolaborasi dengan mitra internasional, khususnya Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Muhammadiyah (PCIM) Malaysia, yang memiliki jejaring wirausaha diaspora Indonesia di sektor kuliner dan jasa. Berdasarkan data PCIM Malaysia (2023), terdapat lebih dari 120 wirausaha diaspora Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang kuliner, perdagangan, dan jasa pendukung, dengan sekitar 45% di antaranya berfokus pada usaha kuliner seperti warung makan, katering, dan produk pangan kreatif. Keterlibatan komunitas wirausaha PCIM Malaysia ini menjadi nilai tambah dalam kegiatan PkM, karena memberikan perspektif internasional terkait tantangan dan peluang UMKM kuliner di luar negeri. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, workshop interaktif, serta evaluasi melalui survei dan wawancara mendalam dengan pelaku UMKM di Indonesia dan perwakilan wirausaha diaspora di Malaysia. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman pelaku UMKM terkait strategi diversifikasi usaha dan penerapan praktik ramah lingkungan dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia. Selain itu, pengalaman wirausaha diaspora Indonesia di Malaysia memberikan inspirasi mengenai praktik adaptasi pasar, sertifikasi halal internasional, dan pemanfaatan jejaring global untuk keberlanjutan bisnis. Kerjasama internasional ini memperkaya wawasan peserta terkait standar global keberlanjutan bisnis, sekaligus membuka peluang kolaborasi lintas negara.

Abstract

This study intends to create a system for maintenance and a schedule for preventive maintenance for the sewing machine at CV Madyotomo by utilizing the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach. The main problem is the high downtime of the Müller Martini 321 stitching machine, which reached 20,114 minutes during January–June 2025, resulting in a production capacity loss of 1,005,711 books and an estimated financial loss of around Rp50,285,550. The research method involved identifying critical components through observation, interviews, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), followed by the calculation of Mean Time To Failure (MTTF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and failure distribution using Minitab 19 software. The results indicate four critical components with the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN), namely bearing (240), v-belt (189), shaft gear (175), and support gear (160). Based on the analysis, the optimal preventive maintenance intervals are bearing every 18 days, v-belt every 21 days, shaft gear every 21 days, and support gear every 28 days, with MTTF values ranging from 693 to 1,174 hours and MTTR averaging 4–6 hours. The implementation of an RCM-based preventive maintenance strategy is proven to reduce downtime, improve machine reliability, and ensure production efficiency, thus providing a guideline for printing companies in formulating measurable, effective, and efficient maintenance policies.

Abstract

In every industrial sector, especially in manufacturing, where there is always a risk of accidents and occupational health issues, occupational safety and health (OHS) is vital. Indonesia has seen a significant increase in the number of workplace accidents in the last two years. According to data from the National Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan), the number has risen 55.2% from the previous year. Sebagai bukti betapa pentingnya manajemen OHS, industri manufaktur dan pembangunan bertanggung jawab atas 63.6% dari semua workplace accidents. As a manufacturing company that plays a major role in the Indonesian economy, PT. Pagilaran must establish an effective OHS system to protect its employees and ensure that the production process runs safely. Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, dan Risk Control (HIRARC) method was used to identify hazards, assess risks, and control risks in the production process. The focus of this study is on the dry sorting section of the Black Tea processing process at PT. Pagilaran, where there are several inadequate factors that increase the risk of workplace accidents. The production process that involves a lot of labor, tools, and materials has the potential to cause significant hazards. By conducting an in-depth creating a safer and more productive work environment.
