Abstract

The book Ta’lim al-Muta’allim by Az-Zarnuji remains a foundational text in the realm of Islamic education. This classical work offers a comprehensive discussion of ethical, spiritual, and methodological aspects of the learning process in Islam. The present study is motivated by the need for Islamic pedagogical models that go beyond cognitive development and also emphasize character formation and proper student conduct. The objective of this research is to explore the educational methods presented in Ta’lim al-Muta’allim and analyze their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data were gathered through an in-depth textual analysis of Ta’lim al-Muta’allim and supported by classical and modern Islamic educational literature. The data were analyzed thematically to identify the core values, learning strategies, and pedagogical principles emphasized by Az-Zarnuji. The findings reveal that Ta’lim al-Muta’allim promotes learning methods that begin with sincere intention, the careful selection of teachers and companions, and the cultivation of proper etiquette toward knowledge, teachers, and peers. Its learning strategies—such as i’adah (repetition), tikrar (intensive review), taammul (deep reflection), and munazharah (discussion)—show strong alignment with modern pedagogical approaches. Moreover, personal virtues such as patience, humility (tawadhu’), piety (wara’), and trust in God (tawakkul) are deemed essential for student development. This study concludes that Az-Zarnuji’s educational philosophy remains highly relevant for character-based and spiritual education in modern Islamic learning environments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the mental health of PAUD teachers during the COVID-19pandemic in Ngawi Regency. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods with the research population of all PAUD teachers in Ngawi district. The sample was determined by convenience sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 75 PAUD teachers. The data collection tool used is a mental health questionnaire. The results showed that the mental health level of PAUD teachers in Ngawi district was in the low category with a percentage of 4%, the medium category with a percentage of 25.3%, and the high category with a percentage of 70.7%. This shows that during the COVID-19pandemic, PAUD teachers in Ngawi district were able to manage mental health.

Abstract

Strategies to improve the ability to read hijaiyyah letters are started or introduced from an early age. The ability to read Hijaiyyah letters is about the philosophical and religious foundations of early childhood basic education, basically it must be based on philosophical and religious values held by the environment and language around the child and the religion he adheres to. This study aims to determine how to increase the ability to read hijaiyyah letters through the memorization method. This study uses a method. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with research subjects are students, principals, and teachers of TK Dharma Wanita Tambakboyo I. Research data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the memorization method in TK Dharma Wanita Tambakboyo I with habituation, spontaneous activities, advice, routine activities could improve students' ability to read hijaiyyah letters

Abstract

The discussion in this research is about the role of teachers in instilling polite behavior in the Pas Assakiinah Mantingan Ngawi Islamic Kindergarten. The background of this research is that there are six students who still ignore the teacher's orders, there are children who run around in class, children tend to be less able to control their emotions when interacting with friends, besides that there are students who have a tendency to have communication barriers so that ignoring the teacher's orders does not It can be implemented immediately, for example when a guest says hello to a child with special needs (ABK) who doesn't want to answer straight away. This research aims to find out the role of teachers in instilling polite behavior at the Pas Assakiinah Mantingan Ngawi Islamic Kindergarten and what are the obstacles in instilling polite behavior at the Pas Assakiinah Mantingan Ngawi Islamic Kindergarten. The research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative research. Data sources obtained from observation data, documentation and interviews. The researcher's data analysis method uses descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that there are four roles of the teacher in instilling polite behavior in the Pas Assakiinah Mantingan Ngawi Islamic Kindergarten, namely 1) The role of the teacher as an educator, 2) The role of the teacher as a motivator, 3) The role of the teacher as a caregiver, 4) The role of the teacher as an example. There are two obstacles faced by Pas Assakiinah Islamic Kindergarten teachers, namely: 1) parental factors, namely parental educational background, lack of understanding of religious knowledge, differences in parenting styles received by parents when they were small, parents being busy so that child care is fully provided. to foster parents, what is taught at school may not necessarily be practiced at home. 2) student factors, there are students with special needs (ABK) who have a tendency to have communication barriers so that when carrying out the teacher's orders they are not carried out directly, there are children who still ignore the teacher's orders, there are children who run around in the classroom, with emotions the children tend to be less able. control emotions when interacting with friends.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has also affected various sectors. In the education sector, face-to-face teaching and learning activities have been stopped with the aim of suppressing the spread of the COVID-19 virus and learning activities are carried out online. Teachers and students are required to be able to make various adjustments to new habits through self-regulation. This study aims to determine the description of self-regulation abilities in student learning at SDN Cepoko 3 during online learning. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods with the research population of all students of SDN Cepoko 3. The samples in this study were students of grades 4.5, and 6 as many as 53 students. The data collection tool used is a self-regulation scale in learning. With a scale reliability of 0.923. The results showed that the level of self-regulation ability in student learning at SDN Cepoko 3 in Pandemu was in the low category with a percentage of 22.6%, the medium category with a percentage of 45.3%, and the high category with a percentage of 32.1%. This shows that the students of SDN Cepoko 3 in online learning activities during the covid-19 pandemic are able to manage themselves in learning and can make adjustments to the situation.

Abstract

In realizing the goals of national education, it is necessary to integrate all components of education, one of which is the component of guidance and counseling. In order to realize the educational goals of the Cepoko 3 public elementary school, it also carries out a program of guidance and counseling services. Guidance and counseling service programs are implemented to assist and direct students in overcoming the problems they are facing. Problems faced by students related to academic or non-academic. The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of the guidance and counseling service program that had been implemented at SDN Cepoko 3. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. The results showed that the implementation of guidance and counseling services at SDN Cepoko 3 was carried out by classroom teachers as counselors. The stages carried out in the implementation of guidance and counseling to students are: problem identification stage, diagnosis, setting prognosis, providing assistance, evaluation or follow-up. Services are provided in written and verbal form. The types of guidance and counseling services provided at SDN Cepoko 3 include individual guidance services and group guidance services.
