Abstract

Unsur menyanyi, tari dan humor sebagai unsur pelengkap yang tak terpisahkan dari pertunjukan teater tradisional. Musik merupakan domain pelengkap dari sebuah cerita yang terdapat dalam senuah naskah drama. Berdasarkan pengamatan dilapangan belum ada pendokumentasian iringan musik mamanda tubau di Kalimantan Selatan. Jenis pendekatan dalam penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian iringan musik mamanda tubau ansambel campuran, karena dimainkan oleh beberapa instrumen musik yang berbeda-beda dan dimainkan secara serentak. Iringan musik Mamanda Tubau secara garis besar dimulai pada pratontonan, sidang kerajaan, konflik, leraian, dan penutup.  Sedangkan alat musik yang digunakan yaitu, babun, piul, akurdiun, sarunai, dan agung. Kata kunci: Iringan Musik, Mamanda Tubau, Kal-Sel

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the lack of public knowledge about the music accompaniment of Japin Carita from South Kalimantan. This research focused more on the theory and practice of music science regarding the music accompaniment of this local South Kalimantan theater. This research used naturalistic qualitative method because it was held in natural conditions (natural setting), this method is also called the ethnographic method. Data gathering techniques include; observation, interview, documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Japin Carita is a traditional theater art from South Kalimantan which is derived from the art of Japin, a dance that originates from Arab. The word Japin in Arabic originating from the word zafin which means fast footwork, and just like the definition Japin dance movement is indeed prioritizing foot movements. The structure of musical forms that can be used as music accompaniment to Japin Carita are; Gasim, Takzim, Rawis, Melagu, Nyanyian, and Tahtim. Japin music in Japin Carita theater is not only for the opening music, but also when the actors enter and leave the stage, and for the closing music. Music illustrations depicting the atmosphere of a place or the mood of an actor, whether sad, afraid, anxious, happy and so on must also follow the rhythm of Japin music. Japin Carita musical instruments consist of baboons, gongs, violins, keprak, and gambus. The function of Japin music accompaniment includes entertainment media, communication media, symbolic tribute, physical responses, continuity media, cultural statistics, and atmosphere proponent of the Japin Carita play/ script.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada mayarakat ini yaitu:  untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai kewirausahaan pengrajin alat tradisional musik panting (P.I.X) musik Kota Banjarmasin tentang wawasan kewirausahaan, cara mempromosikan dimasa pandemi covid 19, yang dimana penurunan omset pengrajin menurun sejak bulan Februari sampai Juni 2020. Hal ini dikarenakan menurunya produktivitas pertunjukan musik. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendampingan wirausaha pengrajin musik panting P.I.X musik di Kota Banjarmasin dari produksi, pemasaran hingga pengurusan hak merek dagang Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI). Metode program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis kemitraan. Bentuk kegiatan pendampingan meliputi tahapan-tahan sebagai berikut; memberikan materi konsep wirausaha, melakukan pendampingan pemanfaatan media promosi dalam pemasaran produk, dan terdaftar di Hak Kekayaan Intelektul (HKI) sebagai merek dagang dengan merek P.I.X musik. Simpulan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ialah proses pendampingan kewirausahaan pengrajin musik panting P.I.X musik berjalan dengan lancar dan meningkat omset penjualannya hingga mendapatkan HKI (Hak Kekayaan Intelektual) merek dagang.The purpose of this community service assistance activity is to understand the entrepreneurship of the PIX music craftsmen in Banjarmasin regarding entrepreneurial insight, how to promote during the Covid 19 pandemic, in which the decline in artisans turnover decreased from February to June 2020. This is due to decreased productivity—music show. The activity's objective is to provide entrepreneurship assistance for P.I.X music artisans in Banjarmasin from production, marketing and IPR. Partnership-based community service program methods. Mentoring activities include the following stages; providing material on entrepreneurial concepts, assisting in promotional media in product marketing, and intellectual property rights (IPR). The conclusion in community service is the process of entrepreneurship assistance for P.I.X music artisans to run smoothly, and their sales turnover increases until they get IPR (Intellectual Property Rights).

Abstract

The migrants in Barito Kuala Regency developed the art of dance originating from their area. However, the art performances they show are one of the reinforcements for their social integration with the local community. This paper aims to: (1) describe the reasons for the migrants to develop their performing arts. (2) analyzing the role of performing arts as a medium for social integration of migrants with local communities. This research uses qualitative research methods and has been carried out in Sidomulyo Village and Dandan Jaya Village, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. 10 Informants were interviewed. Data was carried out by observation, in-depth interviews, and diaries and was analyzed by ethnographic analysis. This study found that (1) the reason of migrants to develop art is to always remember their original identity. (2) Art becomes a medium for social integration through (a) adapting the art of the migrant community to the art of the local community (b) Performing arts As a means of public entertainment (c) social interactions that are developed among all residents during performing arts performances. Based on the research findings, this study suggests strengthening arts that adapt local arts to strengthen social integration, especially in multi-ethnic communities.

Abstract

Intisari. Pembelajaran musik adalah salah satu kegiatan pembelajaran yang bisa di dapati baik melalui jalur formal, nonformal maupun informal. Kegiatan pembelajaran musik tradisional di sekolah harus memperhatikan muatan-muatan lokalnya. Daerah Kalimantan Delatan banyak ditumbuhi tanaman bambu, secara goegrafis kesuburan tanah dan jenis tanaman yang mudah hidup di mana saja. Musik bambu tradisional Kalimantan Selatan adalah warisan budaya masyarakat yang tumbuh secara alamiah dengan kekayaan alamnya. Musik bambu dimaksdu di antaranya ialah kungkurung, kuriding, kintung, dan salong. Melalui pembelajaran musik bambu, maka suatu keberlangsungan budaya dapat terus dijaga kekayaannya (cultural capital).Kata kunci: musik bambu, pembelajaran musik, musik kalimantan selatan cultural capital Abstract. Music learning is one of the learning activities that can be found through formal, non-formal and informal channels. Traditional music learning activities in schools must pay attention to local content. The South Kalimantan area is overgrown with bamboo plants, goegraphically fertile soil and plant species that easily live anywhere. South Kalimantan traditional bamboo music is a cultural heritage of the community that grows naturally with its natural wealth. Bamboo music includes kungkurung, kuriding, kintung, and salong. Through learning bamboo music, a cultural continuity can be maintained (cultural capital).Keywords: bamboo music, music learning, south kalimantan music cultural capital

Abstract

Salong is a traditional musical instrument originating from Halong Village, Balangan Regency. This study aims to describe the organology of the salong instrument in terms of its structure, manufacturing process, and the sound production it generates. The research employs a qualitative approach that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from individuals and observable behaviors. To support the qualitative approach, this study collects both primary and secondary data focusing on the object and subjects of research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of this study describe the following: (1) The history of salong, (2) Inventory of salong, (3) Terminology of salong, (4) Classification of salong as an idiophone instrument, (5) Description of salong, (6) Sound production of salong, which consists of six stages: Stage I: Preparation (preparing tools and raw materials) Stage II: Manufacturing process (removing branches, cutting bamboo into five pieces, creating resonator tubes) Stage III: Tuning process of the salong Stage IV: Finishing (assembling bamboo components, smoothing each bamboo blade on the salong) Stage V: Testing phase (assessing the instrument's functionality and quality) Salong represents a living and dynamic cultural heritage, reflecting the character of the Halong community that upholds the values of tradition, togetherness, and the preservation of local cultural heritage.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of music learning through the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of Local Wisdom. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects are Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 23 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the music learning process using the P5 activities themed Local Wisdom involved five classroom meetings, consisting of three stages: the opening activity, the core activity, and the closing activity. These five meetings reflected student behavior that aligns with the characteristics of the Pancasila Student Profile, which includes elements of faith in God Almighty and noble character, global diversity, critical thinking, independence, collaboration, and creativity. The implementation of P5 activities themed Local Wisdom in music learning was carried out by the teacher with the aim of addressing issues or problems encountered in classroom learning. These activities provided students with knowledge about arts within the context of local culture, particularly that of South Kalimantan. Furthermore, the P5 activities aimed to enhance students’ learning engagement and creativity.
