Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the potential and role of the community in theMolinow tourist village, South Minahasa Regency. This research uses observation, interviewand documentation methods in South Minahasa Regency. In particular, Molinow Village hasbecome a tourist village, with the Tanjung Molinow Beach tourist attraction, equipped withfacilities that support recreation in that place. Molinow Tourism Village is a new TourismVillage which was inaugurated on April 8 2022 along with the Tanjung Molinow Beach touristattraction by the deputy Regent of South Minahasa based on the decision of the Ministry ofVillages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (KEMENDESA) in2020. The research results show that the Molinow tourist village has tourism potential whichis beautiful, especially on Tanjung Molinow beach, which is the tourist center. With theexistence of the Malinow tourist village, the community's economic turnaround is starting tobe felt. The village community hopes that the Malinow tourist village can develop and becomea tourist village visited by many tourists and become a tourism actor who has a role in creatinga conducive and comfortable environment for its visitors. With the existence of a tourismawareness group, the community plays a more active role in developing the Molinow touristvillage. Tourism awareness groups must be supported with full awareness to make the Molinowtourist village a safe, orderly, clean, cool, beautiful, friendly and memorable village.

Abstract

Tujuan: Standar oprasional prosedur adalah proses terdokumentasi yang dimiliki perusahaan untuk memastikan bahwa pelayanan yang di berikan secara konsisten setiap saat, tentu saja SOP sangat penting bagi sebuah perusahaan atau organisasi demi mempertahankan kualitas pelayanan dan dapat memudahkan dalam pekerjaan pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bagaimana penerapan standart oprasional prosedur terhadap pelayanan yang sesuai di lapangan kerja dan bagaimana situasi kerja dan pelayanan di bagian receptionist di Sutanraja Hotel.Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Kualitatif Deskriptif. Dalam metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi dan Wawancara. Hasil Penelitian adalah Penerapan Standar Oprasional Prosedur sudah dilakukan dengan baik oleh staff reception meskipun belum maksimal dan tidak semua masalah dapat di selesaikan dengan menggunakan SOP namun ada kalanya menggunakan kreativitas dan keterampilan dari staff. Kesimpulan yang dapat di ambil adalah dengan adanya SOP pekerjaan akan terasa mudah, dan mampu menangani permasalahan dan komplain dengan adanya dukungan dan tindakan dari pihak manajemen seperti evaluasi dan pelatihan secara berkala kepada semua staff sehingga terciptanya konsistensi dalam pekerjaan dan menghasilkan respon baik bagi reputasi perusahaan dalam pelayanan yang berkualitas dan sesuai bagi tamu.Implikasi: Fleksibilitas dan adaptasi staff front office dalam menanggapi situasi yang tidak terduga ataupun ada spesial request dari tamu.  Kreatifitas dan pelayanan, staff mungkin cenderung menggunakan pendekatan kreatif dalam melayani tamu dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan bagi pengalaman nginap tamu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of stewards in the equipment maintenance process at Food and Beverage Service Yuan Garden Hotel Pasar Baru. Chinaware, glassware, and silverware equipment are essential equipment in Food and Beverage Service operations, used by guests when eating and drinking at restaurants or ordering room service. However, continuous use can leave spots or change the color of equipment if not noticed. Therefore, the maintenance process carried out by stewards is very important to prevent guest complaints. The research method used was a qualitative description involving all steward staff in the Food and Beverage Service department of Yuan Garden Hotel as the research population and the data collectionmethods used were interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the role of stewards has a significant influence on Food and Beverage Service operations, especially in the process of chinaware equipment maintenance. The conclusion of this study is that the role of stewards is very important in the smooth operation of Yuan Garden Hotel's Food and Beverage Service. And with the addition of Human Resources in the steward division, it is expected to help operations so that they run well

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a homestay development strategy based in Darunu Tourism Village, WoriSubdistrict, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. Homestays play a crucial role in enhancingtourist comfort due to their proximity to major attractions, such as the mangrove area. Their presenceenables visitors to stay longer, which helps circulate income in the local economy through services likelodging, breakfast, local transportation, and traditional snacks provided by residents. Homestays alsofunction as a means of empowering the community, particularly by utilizing local houses that arepotential to be developed into homestays. Promotion of homestays is conducted in conjunction with thepromotion of tourist attractions, creating a mutually reinforcing impact and the more guests stay inhomestays, the higher the potential visits to the tourism objects. This research employs a qualitativemethod with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis is basedon the nine elements of the 9Ps Marketing Mix: Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process,Physical Evidence, Partnership, and Participation. The results show that homestay development inDarunu is not yet optimal in several aspects, especially in terms of promotion and facilities. However,the increase in the number of homestays from one to four reflects positive growth potential if supportedby the right strategy
