Abstract

Tetetana tourist attraction is one of the destinations for tourists who want to enjoy the natural scenery with a cool and comfortable climate. This object is located in Tomohon city, precisely in the vilĺage of Suluan. Although there are many tourist attractions that offer natural views and coolness in Tomohon City, the Tetetana tourist attraction remains a favourite destination for tourists. It is proven that there are so many tourist visits to this place, especially during holidays. This research was carried out using a quantirative descriptive method. Tourists' perception of this attraction was based on attractions consisting of the beauty of the Tetetana tourist attraction ,followed by friendliness. Tourists'perception of the Tetetana Tomohon tourist attraction based on accessibility( transportation) to the site shows that transportation to the location is very easily dominated. Tourists' perception based on amenities( facilities) are in the first place toilets, followed by gazebos and then parking lots. Meanwhile, the factors that encourage the tourists to visit the Tetetana Tomohon tourist attraction are the natural beauty, accompanying family and friends , followed by relaxation and rest and finally, see something different. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to investigate strategies for optimizing the role of Food and Beverage Service in increasing guest satisfaction at the Suku Restorant, located at Conrad Bali. The research method used is qualitative with a combination of participant observation, in-depth interviews with F&B staff, and analysis of guest satisfaction data. The results showed that increased training, improved internal communications, and improved coordination between different parts of the restaurant had a significant positive impact on the guest experience. An emphasis on responsiveness, friendliness, and expertise in serving food and beverages also plays an important role in improving guest perceptions of service. Recommendations from this research include increasing training of F&B staff in interpersonal and technical skills, implementing an effective internal communications system, as well as implementing best practices in restaurant operational management. By optimizing the role of Food and Beverage Services, it is hoped that a more satisfying environment can be created for guests and increase the reputation of the Suku Restaurant at Conrad Bali.

Abstract

Since the Indonesian government's policy, rural tourism development has been prioritized. Many villages are trying to develop their villages into tourist villages. Especially with the best tourist village award, the impact is that all villages compete to get the award. Budo Village is a tourist village located in North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. This village went viral because it received the award for the 50 Best Tourism Villages in Indonesia 2022. Since it was first opened, many visitors have come to the location.  The average number of visitors in one day can reach 1500 people, it is mentioned that almost between visitors cannot pass each other while walking on the mangrove track. This is because there is no limit to the number of visitors in the area. The purpose of this study is to assess the ideal number of visitors at the track, for the sustainability of the tourist site, and to preserve the tourist environment. The method used in this measurement is the Carrying Capacity of the Area. The results of this study will recommend to the tourism manager how to manage the number of visitors that will have an impact on the sustainability of the tourist attraction.

Abstract

Tujuan: Standar oprasional prosedur adalah proses terdokumentasi yang dimiliki perusahaan untuk memastikan bahwa pelayanan yang di berikan secara konsisten setiap saat, tentu saja SOP sangat penting bagi sebuah perusahaan atau organisasi demi mempertahankan kualitas pelayanan dan dapat memudahkan dalam pekerjaan pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bagaimana penerapan standart oprasional prosedur terhadap pelayanan yang sesuai di lapangan kerja dan bagaimana situasi kerja dan pelayanan di bagian receptionist di Sutanraja Hotel.Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Kualitatif Deskriptif. Dalam metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi dan Wawancara. Hasil Penelitian adalah Penerapan Standar Oprasional Prosedur sudah dilakukan dengan baik oleh staff reception meskipun belum maksimal dan tidak semua masalah dapat di selesaikan dengan menggunakan SOP namun ada kalanya menggunakan kreativitas dan keterampilan dari staff. Kesimpulan yang dapat di ambil adalah dengan adanya SOP pekerjaan akan terasa mudah, dan mampu menangani permasalahan dan komplain dengan adanya dukungan dan tindakan dari pihak manajemen seperti evaluasi dan pelatihan secara berkala kepada semua staff sehingga terciptanya konsistensi dalam pekerjaan dan menghasilkan respon baik bagi reputasi perusahaan dalam pelayanan yang berkualitas dan sesuai bagi tamu.Implikasi: Fleksibilitas dan adaptasi staff front office dalam menanggapi situasi yang tidak terduga ataupun ada spesial request dari tamu.  Kreatifitas dan pelayanan, staff mungkin cenderung menggunakan pendekatan kreatif dalam melayani tamu dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan bagi pengalaman nginap tamu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the residents’ perception towards the Chinese cultural attraction as an icon of cultural heritage tourism in Manado city. Manado is a predominantly Christian community and dominated by indigenous Minahasa tribes. But, now the city is populated by various inhabitants such as Sangir, Gorontalo, Maluku, and even foreign immigrants such as China and Arab migrating since the Dutch colonial era. Of the various communities that exist, practically only the Chinese community that still maintains its rituals amid strong advances in the tourism industry, this cultural practice can become an icon for cultural tourism. However, can the cultural ritual be accepted as an icon of Manado cultural tourism? This research was in the form of a descriptive qualitative approach. The instruments of data collection were questionnaires and field observations. Questionnaires were distributed to 325 respondents spread in Manado. Empirical results showed that every ritual attraction of Chinese Culture had always been awaited and an interesting spectacle for the people of Manado since the people of Chinese descent domiciled in Manado City. These findings could also provide recommendations for policymakers in setting annual tourist agendas as well as providing legal certainty for this region of Chinatown with various attractions as a cultural heritage area.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of stewards in the equipment maintenance process at Food and Beverage Service Yuan Garden Hotel Pasar Baru. Chinaware, glassware, and silverware equipment are essential equipment in Food and Beverage Service operations, used by guests when eating and drinking at restaurants or ordering room service. However, continuous use can leave spots or change the color of equipment if not noticed. Therefore, the maintenance process carried out by stewards is very important to prevent guest complaints. The research method used was a qualitative description involving all steward staff in the Food and Beverage Service department of Yuan Garden Hotel as the research population and the data collectionmethods used were interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the role of stewards has a significant influence on Food and Beverage Service operations, especially in the process of chinaware equipment maintenance. The conclusion of this study is that the role of stewards is very important in the smooth operation of Yuan Garden Hotel's Food and Beverage Service. And with the addition of Human Resources in the steward division, it is expected to help operations so that they run well

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of social media as a promotional tool for homestays in increasingtourist visits to Budo Tourism Village. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach withdata collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The mainfocus is on three social media platforms—Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok used by homestaymanagers and local tourism actors. The findings reveal that consistent and creative use of social mediacan expand promotional reach, build a positive destination image, and attract visitors, particularlyfrom the younger generation. Moreover, local community involvement in content creation enhances theauthenticity of the tourism village narrative. These findings offer practical contributions to thedevelopment of community-based digital promotion strategies in rural tourism destinations.
