Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in using ebook-based textbooks in electric power transmission and distribution courses. The research method used is classroom action research. This research was carried out in 2 cycles over 4 meetings including planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects of this research are 5th semester students who are contracting courses in electrical power transmission and distribution engineering. Data acquisition achievements are carried out on student learning outcomes after being carried out in the final session of the research cycle. The research results showed that the learning outcomes in cycle I were 38.09% or there were 8 students who completed classical learning, while in cycle II the percentage of student learning completion was 76.19% or there were 16 students who completed learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of ebook-based textbooks can improve student learning outcomes in electric power transmission and distribution courses. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam menggunakan buku ajar berbasis ebook pada mata kuliah transmisi dan distribusi tenaga listrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa 2 siklus selama 4 kali pada pertemuan meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 5 yang kontrak mata kuliah teknik transmisi dan distribusi tenaga listrik. Capaian perolehan data dilakukan pada hasil belajar mahasiswa setelah dilakukan di sesi akhir siklus penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pada siklus I adalah 38.09% atau terdapat 8 siswa yang tuntas belajar secara klasikal, sedangkan pada siklus II presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa 76.19% atau terdapat 16 siswa yang tuntas belajar. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Buku Ajar berbasis ebook dapat meningkatkan hasil Belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah transmisi dan distribusi tenaga listrik.

Abstract

The Bedendang tradition is the most important part of South Bengkulu’s customs that need to be preserved and preserved among young people. This study aims to describe and analyze the embodiment of cultural values in the Bedendang tradition through the TikTok application as a form of South Bengkulu local wisdom. The research method used is a content analysis as what and how questions through data analysis techniques to get conclusions. The results show that the TikTok application can be used as a trend to attract young people to make the Bedendang tradition the most important part of everyday life because there are cultural values that are used as local wisdom from South Bengkulu. The conclusion from this research is that TikTok is one of the most trending applications today, with photo and video based that can attract young people to love and preserve the culture of the South Bengkulu region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan jobsheet berbantuan Electrical Control Techniques Simulator (ECTS) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Teknik Pengendali Mesin Listrik. Permasalahan utama dalam pembelajaran teknik elektro adalah keterbatasan media praktik yang dapat mendorong eksplorasi ide dan inovasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2024/2025 yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen menggunakan jobsheet berbantuan ECTS, dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan jobsheet berbantuan trainer. Data kemampuan berpikir kreatif dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis berdasarkan indikator kelancaran, keluwesan, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan Gain Score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,050 dengan thitung>ttabel (4,99>2,048), serta nilai gain score kelompok eksperimen sebesar 57,98 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol sebesar 32,08. Dengan demikian, penggunaan jobsheet berbantuan ECTS terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Integrasi media simulasi dalam pembelajaran teknik elektro direkomendasikan sebagai strategi inovatif untuk mendukung kompetensi abad 21.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share in improving students' academic achievement in the subject of Civics Education (PKN) in Grade V at MI At-Taqwa Manado. The research problem addressed is how the application of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model contributes to improving student learning outcomes in Civics Education for Grade V at MI At-Taqwa Manado. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) approach based on the Kurt Lewin model, which consists of four main stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection was carried out using three methods: observation, testing, and documentation. The study was conducted in Grade V at MI At-Taqwa Manado, involving a total of 25 students. The findings indicate that the application of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model has a positive impact on increasing student engagement in the learning process as well as their academic performance. In the first cycle, teacher activity improved from 50 to 95.83, student learning activity increased from 2.36 to 3.24, and the percentage of students achieving mastery learning rose from 60% to 92% in the second cycle. Therefore, the material delivered through the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model effectively enhances student learning outcomes in Civics Education at MI At-Taqwa Manado. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif jenis Think Pair Share dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di kelas V MI At-Taqwa Manado. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PKN di kelas V MI At-Taqwa Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan model Kurt Lewin, yang mencakup empat tahapan utama: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga metode, yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas V MI At-Taqwa Manado yang terdiri atas 25 siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran serta hasil belajar mereka. Pada siklus I peningkatan aktivitas pendidik sebesar 50 meningkat menjadi 95,83, aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sebesar 2,36 meningkat menjadi 3,24, dan peserta didik yang mendapatkan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 60% meningkat menjadi 92% pada siklus II. Jadi materi yang diberikan dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN di MI At-Taqwa Manado.

Abstract

Many students living in boarding houses often have limited knowledge about how to use electrical appliances at home. Some students may not understand the risks associated with using electrical devices, such as water heaters, irons, or fans. As a result, this lack of knowledge can not only lead to damage to the equipment but also has the potential to cause fire hazards. Therefore, it is important for them to receive information and training on the safe and efficient use of electrical appliances. Community service activities that focus on education and training for household electrical installations provide a significant positive impact on students' knowledge. This community service activity takes place at the IAIN Manado campus, where the participants consist of 25 students. The method used in this community service is through lectures, questions and answers, and supported by demonstrating electrical installations, electrical hazards, and fire risks through teaching aids and simulation videos. The results obtained from this community service indicate that through this program, students not only learn about the technical aspects of electrical installations but also the importance of safety and energy efficiency. With the skills acquired, students have a 93% understanding that increases awareness of the safe and responsible use of electricity. Furthermore, this activity also fosters a sense of concern and social responsibility among students, making them agents of change who can make a real contribution to reducing the risk of accidents related to improper electrical installations. ABSTRAKBanyak mahasiswa yang tinggal di kos sering kali memiliki minim pengetahuan tentang cara pemakaian peralatan listrik di rumah. Beberapa mahasiswa mungkin tidak memahami risiko yang terkait dengan penggunaan alat listrik, seperti pemanas air, setrika, atau kipas angin. Akibatnya, minimnya pengetahuan ini tidak hanya dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada peralatan, tetapi juga berpotensi menimbulkan bahaya kebakaran. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi mereka untuk mendapatkan informasi dan pelatihan mengenai penggunaan peralatan listrik secara aman dan efisien. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berfokus pada edukasi dan pelatihan instalasi listrik rumah memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi pengetahuan mahasiswa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertempat di kampus IAIN Manado, dimana objek pengabdian mahasiswa dengan jumlah peserta 25 orang. Metode yang di gunakan pengabdian ini berupa ceramah, tanya jawab, dan didukung dengan mendemontrasikan instalasi listrik, bahaya listrik dan kebakaran melalui alat peraga dan video simulasi. Hasil yang diperoleh pengabdian masyarakat ini, melalui program ini, mahasiswa tidak hanya belajar tentang aspek teknis instalasi listrik, tetapi juga pentingnya keselamatan dan efisiensi energi. Dengan keterampilan yang diperoleh, mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman 93% meningkatkan kesadaran akan penggunaan listrik yang aman dan bertanggung jawab. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga membangun rasa kepedulian dan tanggung jawab sosial di kalangan mahasiswa, menjadikan mereka agen perubahan yang mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam masyarakat pengurangan risiko kecelakaan yang terkait dengan instalasi listrik yang tidak tepat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the service learning model to form student civic engagement, which is motivated by the lack of opportunities for students to become subjects in learning and the lack of student involvement in working together as a team. The method used in the research was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects in the research were class VII students at State Junior High School 2 Airmadidi using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that applying the service learning model to form civic engagement can be done through steps. First, students were divided into 4-5 heterogeneous members. At this stage, students made notes which were written and summarized. Second, students found and identified problems faced outside the classroom. Students exchange ideas about solutions that will be presented in solving problems. Third, conveying the results to educators to find solutions to problems. The final step was a group presentation in the question-and-answer process and making conclusions. The conclusion shows that the service-learning model can form civic engagement.

Abstract

This research used a qualitative approach with a multi-site research design, which aimed to explore best practices and strategies implemented in each madrasa and identify factors that support and hinder the optimization of P5RA. Through this multi-site analysis, a more comprehensive understanding can be obtained regarding implementing these two profiles. The results of the research show that both the Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Madani Manado and the Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Negeri Bolaang Mongondow have demonstrated a strong commitment to instilling the values ​​of Pancasila and Rahmatan lil Alamin in students. Although both have the same goal, the approaches they use are different. Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Madani Manado, with vocational characteristics of nursing, places more emphasis on character development through project-based learning and collaboration with the world of health work. On the other hand, the Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Negeri Bolaang Mongondow, with its focus on agriculture, emphasizes the relevance of Pancasila values ​​in the context of agricultural practices.

Abstract

There is still a lack of public understanding regarding how to use electrical equipment at home and also ignorance about the dangers of electricity caused by the way it is used or indifference to maintaining and caring for electrical equipment in accordance with general regulations and operational standards for occupational safety and health. If left unchecked, it will of course cause an electric shock and can trigger a house fire due to electrical equipment and power sources. The aim of community service is to provide knowledge to the public regarding awareness in using electrical equipment at home and also the correct use of electricity sources to avoid electric shocks or damage to electrical equipment. This activity took place in Taratara Dua Village, Tomohon where the object of service was housewives, and farming and gardening activists with a total of 20 participants. The method used for this service is in the form of lectures supported by teaching aids in the form of work simulations in accordance with occupational safety and health and general electrical installation regulations regarding electricity, and questions and answers to the public. The results obtained by community service were 90.8% of the community understanding awareness of the ethics of using electrical equipment at home according to occupational safety and health and understanding the potential electrical dangers that occur at home.
