Abstract

Business relationships formed between consumers and business actors allow disputes to arise as a result of damage or defects and losses. This research will examine issues regarding the regulation of consumer legal protection of SNI compulsory products in Indonesia. The research method used is a normative legal research method. This research shows that legal protection for consumers can be created by the existence of regulations related to SNI obligations. Some arrangements that provide preventive protection to the interests of consumers, include Law No. 20 of 2014 concerning Standardization and Conformity Assessment and Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection as an effort to protect the law for consumers. The law also protects consumers after an event has occurred against violations committed by business actors with acts of civil lawsuits, criminal suits, lawsuits using the Consumer Protection Act, as well as the imposition of sanctions on business actors.

Abstract

The world is currently facing an energy crisis. This research was conducted to create alternative energy by utilizing abundant biomass in nature. The novelty of this study: (1) Use of soybean biomass with coconut water as an electrolyte paste, (2) Testing of bio-battery resistance to wall clocks, and (3) Comparison of the composition of the two materials. In this study, an electrolyte paste made from soybeans (SBs) and coconut water (CWs) with a ratio of 7/1, 6/2, 5/3, 4/4, 3/5, 2/6, and 1/7. To support the analysis, an electrical voltage test and a battery resistance test for wall clocks were carried out.  The experimental results show that the composition of coconut water increases the value of the electric voltage on the bio-battery. The composition of coconut water serves to activate the ions in the paste. Meanwhile, more soybean content will increase bio-battery life. It was found that the bio-battery with electrolyte paste of soybeans and coconut water can be used as alternative energy. The results of this research are expected to offer renewable alternative energy for world energy security.

Abstract

Background: The skin is the outermost part of the body that functions as a barrier between humans and the environment. The structure of the skin is affected by various factors such as climate, age, gender, race, and location in the body. The skin consists of 3 main layers, namely the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous. In addition, the skin has sebaceous glands or oil glands located on the skin, hair, and nails. These glands function to maintain skin moisture, especially when they are active and developing during puberty. However, activity can also cause skin problems, such as warts, dermatitis, and acne vulgaris. Methods: The type of research conducted is observational analytical research on the Kendall's Tau design approach. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. As many as 98 respondents were obtained who met the inclusion criteria of the research object. Results: Shows that the most commonly found sex is female. This study shows that there is no relationship between milk consumption and acne vulgaris. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, there was no significant relationship between the frequency of milk consumption and acne vulgaris, the amount of milk consumption per day and per week, because milk contains zinc and vitamin A. Zinc functions as an anti-inflammatory agent in acne by inhibiting the growth of C. acnes bacteria, and milk contains vitamin D, so it has a pleiotropic effect that can prevent lesions in acne vulgaris.
