Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan dan menguji keefektifan Model Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Brainstorming untuk Meningkatkan Ketrampilan Komunikasi Interpersonal dalam meningkatkan ketrampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa SMA N 5 Kota Magelang. Desain penelitian research and development (R and D) diterapkan dengan langkah-langkah: persiapan pengembangan model, merumuskan model hipotetik, uji kelayakan model hipotetik, perbaikan model hipotetik, uji lapangan, hasil akhir produk. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok bersifat insidental. Sebanyak 14,29% siswa kelas XI memiliki kategori tingkat ketrampilan komunikasi interpersonal dalam kategori tinggi, sebanyak 48,16% siswa dalam kategori sedang, sebanyak 36,33% siswa dalam kategori kurang, dan 1,22% siswa dalam kategori rendah. Hasil uji eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa Model Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Brainstorming untuk dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa secara signifikan (t (244) = 5.285, p < .01).   The aim of present study was to produce and to test the effectiveness of Model of Group Guidance using Brainstorming Technique on improving students’ interpersonal communication competence for students of State Senior High School 5 Magelang. The design of Research and Development was applied in several steps as follows: preparation for developing the model, developing the hypothetical model, the feasibility test of hypothetical model, revising the hypothetical model, experimental testing, and producing the final product. The result showed that the implementation of group guidance in SMA N 5 was insidental. A total of 14.29 % grade XI student had a high category of interpersonal communication skills, 48.16% had a moderate category, 36.33%  had low category, and 1.22% had very low category. The experiment finding showed that Model of Group Guidance Using Brainstorming Techniques had a significant effect on increasing the students’ interpersonal communication competence (t (244) = 5.285, p < .01).

Abstract

This research aims at investigating 1) the implementation of group counselling; and 2) finding out how it assisted by snake and ladder media successfully improved students’ learning motivation. It employs pre experimental design with type of one group pre test-post test design. 10 out of 27 seventh graders of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Magelang are assigned as the sample. It used random sampling with the scale of learning motivation. The result revealed that as matter of fact, group counseling had been implemented in this school, though it did not optimally perform in solving students’ problems. Hence it was only done incidentally. The statistic calculations using Paired Sample Test showed that t-value= - 5,129 ≤ t-table= - 0,703. In sum Hawas accepted which meant group counseling with snake and ladder media effectively enhanced students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

In recent years, many insecure phenomena have appeared in several individuals, without exception for students, so students prefer to think negatively about themselves and cause themselves to lose confidence because there is something that makes them threatened and insecure. Therefore, there is a need for handling students who have a high level of insecurity, so that students can be more confident in developing their potential.This study was aimed at looking at the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy group counseling with the Thought Stopping Technique to reduce the level of insecurity. The method used in this research is pre experiment with One Group Pre test Post Test Design. In this study the sample was chosen not randomly (purposive sampling) from 12 students in class XI.OTKP SMK Muhammadiyah Magelang City taken a sample of 9 students as members experimental group. This research was conducted in 6 meetings. MThe method used as data analysis is using parametric statistics Sample T-Test with SPSS 26 Software. The results of the study indicate that the Cognitive Behavior Therapy group counseling Thought Stopping technique has an effect on reducing the level of insecurity. This can be proven based on the results of the Paired Sample T-Test analysis with a significant probability value of 0.001 <0.05.

Abstract

Kuantitas kelulusan tepat waktu mahasiswa menjadi hal yang penting bagi penilaian akreditasi program studi dan mahasiswa. Salah satu penyebab keterlambatan dalam kelulusan tepat waktu mahasiswa adalah kecemasan akademik terhadap skripsi atau sering disebut dengan anxiety academic. Tujuan yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah membantu mahasiswa untuk mengurangi anxiety academic terhadap skripsi melalui konseling kelompok pendekatan cognitive behaviour therapy teknik thought stopping. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimen one group pre test post test design dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok pendekatan Cognitive Behavior Therapy teknik Thought Stopping mampu mengurangi anxiety acedemic mahasiswa terhadap skripsi dibuktikan dengan hasil uji statistik perhitungan Paired Samples test menunjukkan t-hitung = 13.132 > t-tabel= 2.015.

Abstract

The meaning of life is one of the important things in an individuals’s life. The meaning of life can be increased through several efforts, one of which is by maximing the abilities, potential, and talents possessed, including developing personal branding. The purpose of this study is to assist individuals in developing personal branding through Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy to increase the meaning of life. The research methoud use is a pre-experimental one group pretest posttest design with a sampling technique that is simple random sampling. The result showed that group counseling for the development of personal branding thrrough Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy was effective in increasing the meaning of life, that the significance value asymp sig (2-tailed) of Paired Sample T-test is 0,001 < 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan konseling kelompok teknik dipsute kognitif dan dispute imajinasi terhadap penurunan academic burnout kelas X BDP 2 SMK Swadaya Temanggung. Jenis penelitian menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Comparasion group design. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara random. Sampel yang digunakan pada kelompok ekperimen 1 sejumlah 7 siswa dan kelompok eksperimen 2 sejumlah 7 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner skala academic burnout. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji anova dengan bantuan program softwere SPSS 26.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok teknik dispute kognitif dan dispute imajinasi efektif menurunkan academic burnout pada siswa. Hasil analisis kelompok eksperimen 1 terdapat penurunan skor sebesar 32 atau 25% dan kelompok eksperimen 2 sebesar 35 atau 40%.

Abstract

The success of the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools is determined by one of the personality competencies possessed by the counselor. Personal competency standards are one part of the counselor competency standards. Counselor competency standards are minimum standards that must be known, achieved and performed proficiently by counselors. The purpose of this study was to produce an instrument in the form of a counselor personality competency scale. This study uses a Research and Development design up to the product trial stage on a limited basis. The data collection instrument used a personality competency scale. The results showed that using the personality competency scale that had been tested, it was seen that 97% were in the medium category and 3% were in the high category.

Abstract

Social media addiction deeply affects students academically and psychologically. Most studies, especially in the Indonesian context, focused on social media addiction; some studies focused on the healing process, especially in the educational context. This study focused on the impacts of social media addiction counseling intervention on SMA Negeri 5 Magelang students. The researcher used a quasi-experimental design while adopting 2 of the four experimental groups configured using different techniques, each consisting of 7 students. The first of these groups used a behavior contract approach and the second used a self-management approach. The researcher adopted the Social Media Addiction Scale. The described data was analyzed and interpreted using paired and independent sample t-tests alongside effect size determination. The findings indicated that the counseling objectives were achieved by both groups, albeit with contrasting outcomes, particularly with the contract group averaging 20.29, and self-management group 9.29, statistically significant. The contract group achieved the most positive change of 2.535, however both groups showed statistically significant and differential positive results due to the techniques applied.The contract technique was statistically proven to be more effective than self-management. The role of behavior contract–integrated group counseling activities to build students' discipline, self-control, and responsible behavior on and off social media is invaluable. Counsellors are encouraged to use behavior contracts as a proactive approach to addressing social media overuse. Future research should prioritize larger sample sizes, consider potential moderating variables, and examine the long-term effects of such interventions through a longitudinal approach

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru-guru PAUD Terpadu Al-Fitroh dalam mengembangkan potensi anak melalui pendekatan kecerdasan jamak (multiple intelligences). Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pengisian kuesioner, observasi, dan praktik pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru mulai memahami konsep kecerdasan jamak, mampu mengidentifikasi kecerdasan dominan anak, serta mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis minat dan potensi anak. Tantangan yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan sarana dan media pembelajaran, waktu, serta kebutuhan pelatihan lanjutan. Kegiatan pendampingan ini membantu guru lebih terarah dalam memfasilitasi potensi anak secara optimal.

Abstract

Penyesuaian sosial adalah salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimilikioleh manusia untuk menjalani keberlangsungan hidup di masyarakat,termasuk siswa dalam kehidupannya di asrama. Penelitian ini untukmengetahui keefektifan konseling kelompok dengan teknik roleplaying dan modeling untuk meningkatkan penyesuaian sosial siswa. Penelitian ini berjenis True Eksperimen Design dengan RandomizedPretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampeldengan random sampling sebanyak 16 siswa, 8 siswa kelompokeksperimen 1 (konseling kelompok teknik role playing) dan 8 siswakelompok eksperimen 2 (konseling kelompok teknik modeling).Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara.Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistic parametric denganuji paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test berbantuanprogram SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konselingkoleompok dengan teknik role playing lebih efektif untukmeningkatkan penyesuaian sosial siswa dibandingkan dengan teknikmodeling.
