Abstract

The existence of this industry in Sidoarjo has the negative potential impact to the environment, namely the accumulation of heavy metals in paddy fields. The magnitude of the impact that can be caused by the presence of lead heavy metals, research is needed that is expected to provide information related to the concentration and distribution of lead on land in Sidoarjo district. The distribution will later be elaborated by mapping using Geographic Information Systems. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential distribution of lead heavy metals in soil and soil in Sidoarjo paddy fields and the potential impact of lead accumulation on the environment. Samples taken were soil in the paddy fields, with 18 location points. The method used in the identification of lead distribution in paddy fields in Sidoarjo district is survey and laboratory testing, where the pattern of lead content distribution in paddy fields is carried out using spatial analysis with the spline with barrier method Arcgis 10.1. The highest distribution of lead content in paddy fields in Wonoayu District, 0.46 ppm. The highest dominant distribution pattern of lead pollution in paddy fields is Wonoayu and Waru sub-districts.

Abstract

This service aims to design training and product photos to increase the production of sponge sandals by aldiva sponge sandal craftsman partners located in Karangrejo Village, Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency. So far, the designs are based on the designs and models of sandals from consumers. Partners do not yet have the characteristics of their own sandal designs and models because human resources in the production department do not yet have the expertise to develop sandal model designs. In addition, the photos uploaded on social media as marketing media are classified as ordinary so that they are less attractive to consumers. This activity uses a contextual approach method, namely the speaker explains the theory first, then proceeds with the practice of taking photos of sandal products by taking the right angle by partners. The results obtained during the training were enthusiastic participants and gained new knowledge.

Abstract

Berbek Industrial Estate is the largest industrial area in Sidoarjo Regency. The most dominant concentration of heavy metals in industrial areas is chromium in water and sediments in rivers which have the potential to have a negative impact on humans, this is because rivers are a place for developing aquatic organisms including fish that are consumed by local residents. Parameters include chromium content in river water and sediment. Spatial distribution analysis uses the kriging method on laboratory results and overlay to describe the distribution map. The result of the highest content in water parameters is the location of Gedongan Village at 0.31 ppm. Based on Peraturan Pemerntah Republik Indonesia Nomor 82 Tahun 2001 on Water Management and Pollution Control, states that the environmental quality standard for chromium in class III rivers is 0.05 mg/L. The highest content in sediment is the Berbek location at 3.24 ppm.

Abstract

Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi memiliki peran yang sangat besar dan berpengaruh secara efektif sebagai alternatif solusi untuk memecahkan permasalahan di masyarakat melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, mengembangkan pola pikir siswa, mempelajari tatanan pengajaran, sarana belajar tambahan dan menguatkan semangat literasi. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan secara bertahap melalui metodelearning by gamesdan kuis. Mitra pengabdian masyarakat adalah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum di Sidoarjo. Hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang diperoleh adalah memenuhi kebutuhan belajar siswa di luar kelas, membantu dan membimbing siswa diluarjam sekolah untuk mengerjakan tugas yang diterima dari guru. The Tridharma of Higher Education has a very large and effective role as an alternative solution to solving problems in the community through community service programs. The purpose of this community service program is to develop students' mindsets, learn teaching arrangements, additional learning facilities and strengthen the spirit of literacy. Community service is carried out in stages through the method of learning by games and quizzes. The community service partner is Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum in Sidoarjo. The results of Community Service obtained are meeting students' learning needs outside the classroom and helping and guiding students outside school hours to work on assignments received from the teacher.

Abstract

This dedication supports the design of screen printing as a means of increasing the production of screen printing at the screen printing partner diploma provided in Pogar Village, Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency. So far the designs are made only from consumer demand and no one has specifications and graphic designs. This activity uses a controversial method that is providing theoretical material first and followed by a workshop directly making screen printing products produced by partners. The results of the training showed that the participants were very happy and happy to be able to participate in this activity. Participated in training and wanted to master how to design (85%). Participants and employees can enjoy the benefits of using practical methods in making screen printing designs, presenter and teams more easily provided knowledge and developing screen printing design potential.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penjadwalan dan percepatan proyek fabrikasi menggunakan metode Critical Path Method (CPM) dan Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS). Melalui pendekatan CPM, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi lintasan kritis dan memberikan usulan rencana percepatan proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan EVMS, terdapat ketidaksesuaian antara rencana dan realisasi yang mengarah pada penundaan. Sebagai kontribusi, penelitian ini mengembangkan strategi percepatan yang dapat mengurangi keterlambatan dan meningkatkan kinerja proyek. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyarankan implementasi pendekatan integratif CPM dan EVMS untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan proyek fabrikasi secara keseluruhan. This research analyzes fabrication project scheduling and acceleration using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS). This research identifies critical paths through the CPM approach and proposes project acceleration plans. The research results show that with the implementation of EVMS, there needs to be a better match between plans and realization, which leads to delays. This research contributes to developing an acceleration strategy that can reduce delays and improve project performance. The conclusions of this research suggest implementing an integrative approach of CPM and EVMS to improve overall fabrication project management.

Abstract

The Ministry of Communication and Information and the Ministry of BUMN of The Republic of Indonesia designed a mobile app “Peduli Lindungi” to be used to help the public and related government agencies in carrying out screening and tracing people's movement to stop the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19).The existence of a mobile app, “Peduli Lindungi” triggers abundant different sentiments from the Indonesian community, either positive or negative sentiments. Based on the positive sentiment, the government of the Republic of Indonesia may have some feedback about the aspects of the app that should be maintained. In contrast, negative sentiments can be used as initial points of the potential improvement of the mobile app. This study applies a Fuzzy Support Vector Machine (FSVM) model to classify the user's reviews on Peduli Lindungi Application. FSVM can classify customers’ reviews into two or more classes and relatively results in higher accuracy than other classification approaches. The results of this study indicate that the classification of reviews with FSVM produces quite good accuracy  with a value of 77%. A total correct prediction is 2192 reviews out of 2813 reviews.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk pelatihan desain dan foto produk guna meningkatkan hasil produksi sandal spon oleh mitra pengrajin sandal spon aldiva yang berlokasi di Desa Karangrejo Kecamatan Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan. Selama ini desain yang dibuat berdasarkan desain dan model sandal dari konsumen. Mitra belum memiliki ciri khas desain dan model sandal sendiri karena sumber daya manusia pada bagian produksi belum memiliki keahlian untuk mengembangkan desain model sandal. Selain itu, hasil foto yang diunggah di media sosial sebagai media pemasaran tergolong biasa sehingga kurang menarik konsumen. Kegiatan ini memakai metode pendekatan kontektual yakni pemateri memaparkan teori terlebih dahulu kemudian dilanjutkan dengan praktek pengambilan foto produk sandal dengan pengambilanangle yang tepat oleh mitra. Hasil yang diperoleh selama pelatihan yaitu peserta antusias dan memperoleh ilmu baru.

Abstract

This study aims to identify user segmentations of a learning management system at Universitas Negeri Malang using two-step clustering method. Data is collected through an on-line survey which is linked onto the academic information systems. Total number of data are 10.594 responses. This study runs three clustering methods, two-step, k-means, and kohonen clustering, in order to identify the user segmentation. Two-step clustering methods performs better than the other two clustering methods (k-means and kohonen) based on silhouette clustering index. The number of cluster resulted from two-step clustering method are three clusters. The top three of most important factors in identifying the user segmentation are the benefit of the learning management usage in helping to access information, increasing the effectiveness of accomplishing assignments, and students satisfaction on the learning management system services.

Abstract

Berbek Industrial Estate is the largest industrial area in Sidoarjo Regency. Industrial activities have a positive and negative impact on the environment. One of the negative impacts on the environmental because of industrial activities is decreased water quality. The water quality around the Berbek industries suffers decreased water quality. This study aims to mapping and analysing the spatial distribution patterns of cadmium which are expected to provide information patterns in the area. The sample taken is river water in the area of ​​the Berbek Industrial, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. The methods used are surveys and laboratory tests. The distribution pattern of cadmium in the waters was carried out by spatial analysis used in ArcGis 10.1 Kriging Interpolation method. The highest cadmium concentration was found at the river location in Wedoro, namely 0.18 ppm, while the lowest cadmium concentration was found at the river location in Gedongan, namely 0.10 ppm. The patterns of cadmium spread in river area of ​​Berbek Industrial showed that cadmium which was came from Wedoro river was higher compared to other river spreads.
