Abstract

AbstrakPenggunaan smartphone yang tidak tepat dapat memberikan dampak negatif bagi anak, namun jika orangtua dapat mendampingi dan mengawasi penggunaan smartphone pada anak serta memberikan konten-konten edukatif tentunya smartphone ini dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan kemampuan anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak peran pengawasan orang tua terhadap penggunaan smartphone pada anak usia 2-3 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada seorang anak perempuan berusia 2,5 tahun di kota Bandung dengan lama penggunaan gadget 3,5 jam perhari. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan wawancara dengan orangtua, kakek, nenek dan bibi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik induktif. Temuan pada penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan smartphone selama 3,5 jam perhari berdampak positif dan meningkatkan pengetahuan anak dalam mengaplikasikan gadget sendiri, menemukan konten yang diinginkan, mampu berhitung 110, dapat membedakan warna, mengetahui beberapa kosakata bahasa inggris dan hafal beberapa lagu anak-anak. Pendampingan dan pengawasan dari orangtua dan orang dewasa disekitar saat anak menggunakan smartphone sangat menentukan apakah penggunaan smartphone pada anak usia 2-3 tahun akan memberikan dampak positif atau negatif. AbstractInappropriate use of smartphones can have a negative impact on children, but if parents can assist and supervise the use of smartphones in children and provide educational content of course this smartphone can have a positive impact on the development of early childhood abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine how the impact of the role of parental supervision on smartphone use in children aged 2-3 years. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach to a 2.5-year-old girl in the city of Bandung with a gadget use of 3.5 hours per day. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and interviews with parents, grandparents, grandmas and aunts. Data analysis uses inductive thematic analysis. The findings in this study revealed that the use of smartphones for 3.5 hours per day had a positive impact and increased children's knowledge in applying their own gadgets, finding the desired content, being able to count 110, being able to distinguish colors, knowing some English vocabulary and memorizing some children's songs young children. Assistance and supervision from parents and adults around when children use smartphones greatly determine whether the use of smartphones in children aged 2-3 years will have a positive or negative impact.

Abstract

The research is conducted as the Early Childhood Students at RA Lil Muttaqin Tapung Kampar have problems in socialization, sharing toys, taking turn in playing, expressing the feelings, and lack ability to communicate with peers. This research purpose was to determine the early childhood students’ socio-emotional development levels at RA Lil Muttaqin Tapung Kampar. The research used qualitative research method. The data analysis was used quantitative to test hypotheses. The research was used observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Social Emotional Development is a mental change that takes place gradually and in a certain time, from the simple ability to more complex abilities. Development is a process of changing or improving something towards a complex and psychological nature. Development and growth are two different things but development is related to growth. The indicators of the social emotional development of early childhood students are self-awareness, managing emotions, utilizing emotions productively, empathy, and building relationships. After testing the validity, reliability and descriptive statistics form the early childhood students’ socio-emotional development at RA Lil Muttaqin Tapung Kampar was in “good” category at 9.3 and 130 respectively. Abstract

This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle was conducted in two meetings. In order to ensure this classroom action researchrun well, the researcher arranges the stages: 1) Action planning/preparation, 2) Action implementation, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The subjects in this study were 14 students of B1 class consist of 8 girls and 6 boys in the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at TK Mutiara Kindergarten, Siak Hulu, Kampar. Meanwhile , the object of this research was the use of number tree media to improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of early childhood students . The research data were collected through teacher observation techniques and early childhood students' activities and documentation. After the data was collected through observation, the data was processed using the percentage form. The results of this study are there is an increasing in the learning process carried out by the teacher and the early childhood students' ability to recognize the concept of numbers. Observation of children's activities also increased, this can be seen from the pre action’s data to cycle II meeting 2. Initial data was 43.62%, Cycle II meeting 2 obtained  84.69%. So that the overall increase in early childhood students' activities to recognize the concept of numbers obtained 41.07%.

Abstract

The research was classroom action research according to Kurt Lewin, Kemmis & Mc Taggart cycle model. The research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle was carried out in two meetings. In order to ensure the research, run well the researcher conducted on the stages that were passed in CAR such as; 1) planning/preparation, 2) implementation, 3) observation/observation, and 4) Reflection. The subjects in this study were teachers and 16 students of group B at RA (Islamic Kindergarten) Samara Plus in 2022/2023. While the object of this research was the ability to recognize shapes through Kinetic Sand media at group B of RA (Islamic Kindergarten) Samara Plus. The data collection instrument was the form of observation and student learning activities observation. After the data was collected through observation, the data was processed by using score and rating scales in the form of “stars” and checklists. Based on the results of this study, it proved that there is an improvement of the early childhood students in learning activities after the Cycle I and Cycle II through Kinetic Sand media at RA Samara Plus. Cycle I was the highest early childhood students’ ability to recognize shapes was still developed or two stars. In cycle II showed that the ability to recognize shapes had reached Expected developed. Abstract

Despite of receiving appreciation, the development of Islamic Psychology, especially in Indonesia, has also gained various criticisms from various psychology practitioners and academics. Among the topics that became discourses was Islamic Worldview in Islamic Psychology. This article seeks to answer the problems surrounding the discourse and problems of Islamic Worldview discourse in the construction of Islamic Psychology. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with the type of field research. The research informants were determined by purposive sampling with the criteria of scientists and practitioners of Islamic Psychology, academics and psychology students totaling four people. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation methods. The data was analyzed using the Miles and Hubberman qualitative data analysis model, namely data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study show that the discourse on the construction of Islamic Psychology is very enthusiastically welcomed by psychological scientists. The content of the discourse is to build Psychology with a new perspective that is different from Western Psychology, by making the Qur'an and hadith the main source of Islamic Psychology. However, the problem is that 1) Western Psychology has dominated and has an established scientific construction, while Islamic Psychology is just trying to formulate, 2) Not all, even most Muslim Psychology scientists do not master Arabic which incidentally is the language of the Qur'an and hadith, 3) There is still a low understanding of Muslim students who study Psychology in universities about Islamic teachings, 4) The recognition of the existence of Islamic Psychology as one of the disciplines is still questionable and does not have strong legality in the laws and regulations regarding higher education. With this research, it is hoped that it will be able to spark further discussions about the existence of Islamic Psychology as part of the psychology discipline that has the right to legal legality in universities and motivate Muslim psychology scientists to be committed and consistent in studying Islamic Psychology in terms of kaffah (totality).

Abstract

The low level of pedagogical skills among teachers in designing technology-based learning presents a significant challenge at Attarkiyah Islamiah Institute, Southern Thailand. Teachers face difficulties in creating digital teaching materials, utilizing interactive media, and fostering collaboration for instructional innovation. This community service project aimed to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence through contextual, collaborative, and practical technology-based training. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a participatory training approach, hands-on practice (microteaching), group work, and pre- and post-intervention evaluations. Twenty teachers from various disciplines participated in the program. The results indicated a significant improvement in three key areas: (1) the ability to design digital learning, (2) the skill to use interactive digital media, and (3) collaboration in developing innovative learning products. The training fostered a shift in teachers’ work culture—from individualistic to collaborative, and from passive to active and innovative. Moreover, the program reinforced the relevance of the TPACK framework, the learning-by-doing approach, and the Professional Learning Community (PLC) model in the context of Islamic education within a minority community. This initiative demonstrates that collaborative, practice-based training tailored to local values is effective in developing teacher competencies and promoting meaningful transformation in teaching practices.

Abstract

This article discusses the critical role of parents in forming the foundation for early childhood development through community service activities in the form of parenting webinars. The crucial phase of early childhood is the focus, where parents as leaders, mentors and supporters have the main responsibility. Although the process of educating children in this phase is not always smooth, attention to children's development in the family environment is very important. The article highlights the concept of parenting patterns and the impact of parenting errors, referring to the theories of Kohn and Baumrind. Parenting style is considered an important foundation for a child's character and well-being. Parenting webinars are presented as a response to modern challenges, using lecture, presentation, questionnaire and discussion methods. Despite technical challenges, webinars provide advantages in flexible access, interactivity, and durability of the material. The success of this webinar has made a positive contribution to the understanding of parents and early childhood educators regarding parenting mistakes. In conclusion, the role of parents in forming the foundation for early childhood development is the main focus, and parenting webinars are an effective means of achieving this goal. Abstract

This community service aims to provide an understanding of the role of mothers to their children regarding how to educate, set an example and accompany each stage of a child's development. This research was carried out using the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, which involves researchers and participants in collaboration to encourage active participation, feedback and joint knowledge creation. One proof of the transformational power of this training is the fact that the community recognizes how the training has changed their understanding of the very important role of a qualified mother in child development. Abstract

This study was motivated by the condition of Sungai Pinang Village, Kampar Regency, which possesses considerable agricultural, fisheries, and cultural potential, yet remains underutilized due to limited access and low levels of digital literacy. The purpose of this research was to formulate a community empowerment model based on local village potential through digitalization to enhance community capacity and expand market access. The method applied was community service with a participatory approach using Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). The stages of implementation included asset and problem mapping, socialization, digital literacy training, formation of village digital cadres, development of digital platforms, program implementation, mentoring, and participatory evaluation. The subjects of this study were community members and village officials, while data were collected through surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, and direct observation. The findings revealed a significant increase in digital literacy, content creation skills, and the use of online marketplaces. The level of community understanding of smartphone usage increased from 45% to 85%, content creation skills improved from 15% to 70%, and the use of digital platforms for business grew from 25% to 78%. These results demonstrate that digitalization not only enhances technical skills but also shifts community mindsets to become more adaptive to technology. In conclusion, village digitalization based on local potential proved effective as a sustainable and inclusive empowerment strategy that fosters community welfare. The implication of this research suggests the need for stronger digital infrastructure and continuous mentoring to ensure the program’s replication in other villages

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the competence of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in developing digital-based Islamic edutainment learning media while fostering a spirit of edupreuneurship. The methods used included needs analysis, training, workshops, intensive mentoring, and participatory evaluation. The results of the activity showed that PAUD teachers were able to create digital Islamic learning media in the form of simple animated videos, digital interactive books, and Islamic audio-visual content that was engaging for children. Furthermore, the teachers understood strategies for packaging these products to have economic value as edupreuneurial products. This activity successfully increased digital literacy, creativity, and entrepreneurial awareness among PAUD teachers, thus supporting a more innovative and effective learning transformation
