Abstract

This research aims to study significant differences between learning by using interactive multimedia based on Aurora 3D Presentation with conventional methods on student learning outcomes in Environmental pollution material. This type of research is a quantitative study using a research design consisting of a post-test control group. The sample in this study was grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Jember. There are two groups namely the experimental group taken from class VII C and the control group taken from class VII A which is determined by a purposive sampling technique. The instrument  to collect data using a post-test. Analysis of the data used is a t-test consisting of independent sample t-tests. Based on the t-test on student learning outcomes through the post-test, the t-count value was 2.015 and the t-table value was 1.669. Because t-count is greater than t-table, The use of Aurora 3D Presentation in learning is effective for the subject environmental pollution at the Seventh Grade of junior high school students.

Abstract

The natural and social sciences subjects which are currently called IPAS are a form of creative new curriculum in the independent curriculum, where this curriculum studies natural and social sciences which are designed into one book. Religion-based learning is learning that is integrated with religious values which aims to help students understand and apply religious aspects in their lives, as well as to deepen their understanding of religious beliefs and values. The research method used in developing natural and social science learning materials based on religion for class 4 is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The Research and Development (R&D) method is a research method used to produce certain products, to test the effectiveness of these products. This research uses the ASSURE development model which consists of Analyze learners, State Objectives, Select Strategies, methods, materials, Utilize Technology and Media, Require Learner Participation, Evaluate and Revise. The results of the module specification research show that the Islamic-based thematic module takes the form of print media. Second, namely validation, effectiveness and attractiveness. Based on design expert validation 79%, material expert validation 75%, learning expert validation 80%, based on field tests students in finding attractiveness obtained 88% results, based on the average pre-test and post-test results, namely 61.45 and 91.79 which can provide an assessment of the effectiveness of the module. Based on the results, the module created by the researcher is effective, valid and interesting.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the concept of the Islamic boarding school-based school program in instilling students' religious character values and to determine the implementation and evaluation of the Islamic boarding school-based school program in instilling students' religious character values. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research were first, the Islamic boarding school-based school program is a program that integrates the curriculum in public schools with that in Islamic boarding schools which was launched by SMPN 2 Pasirian in collaboration with the Nurul Hayat Pasirian Islamic Boarding School. This program was a form of supporting and strengthening religious character education in students, especially regarding learning Islamic religious education (PAI). Second, this program was implemented from Monday to Thursday and during non-school hours, namely 13.00-15.00. The learning materials taught were reading and writing the Qur'an, memorizing short surahs, basic fiqh, and learning basic Arabic. Apart from that, the religious habituation model was also applied during school hours such as Duha prayers, reading Asmaul Husna or short surahs from the Al-Qur’an, giving alms in the form of money every Friday to be distributed to school students in need, and so on. Third, evaluate this program through three domains, namely the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains.

Abstract

Learning media can facilitate students' and educators' teaching and learning processes by increasing students' learning motivation. Learning media attract students' attention and act as a conduit for messages between educators and students. They make the material easier to understand and prevent boredom. This study aims to 1) Produce Domino Card learning media for Mathematics for class II at Madrasah As-Syafi'iyah Kencong Jember, 2) Determine the feasibility of the Domino Card learning media, and 3) Assess the effectiveness of the Domino Card learning media. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE model, which involved ten students from class II at Leces Islamic Elementary School. The final product, Modified Domino Card media, was validated by media, material, and learning experts, resulting in a validity score of 93%, categorizing it as very valid. The N-Gain Score calculation showed an average learning outcome increase of 83%, indicating the media's effectiveness. Thus, domino card learning media is valid and effective in improving the thematic learning of mathematics content in class II of Madrasah As-Syafi'iyah Kencong Jember. Innovative learning media such as Domino Cards can increase student motivation and engagement in the learning process, thus helping students better understand the material more interestingly and interactively.

Abstract

Character education has become the main focus in education to build a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also has high morality. This article discusses the synergy between religious and science education in developing students' character in schools and madrasahs. Religious education provides a moral and spiritual foundation, while science trains the ability to think critically and understand natural phenomena logically. By integrating the two, learners are expected to have strong characters that include ethics, empathy, responsibility, and love for science. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to explore the relevance of actualizing both fields in character education. The findings show that integrating religion and science effectively can encourage learners to become individuals with integrity, innovative, and adaptive to global challenges.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Environmental challenges arise from the mutual influence between humans and their environment. This study explores the integration of Fiqh Ibadah values into ecological activities at Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa to develop a morally conscious generation. The research focuses on three key aspects: 1) the transformation, 2) transaction, and 3) internalization of Fiqh Ibadah values through these activities. The objectives are to analyze how Fiqh Ibadah values are integrated into pesantren ecological activities to foster moral awareness. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, involving data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation was used to ensure validity. The findings show that the internalization of Fiqh Ibadah values has been ongoing for about a year through pesantren regulations and daily student practices. This process includes evaluations of both implementation and outcomes to measure students’ progress. The study highlights how ecological activities serve as a medium for instilling Fiqh Ibadah values, contributing to the development of a morally and environmentally conscious generation Keyword: Fiqh Ibadah Values, Pesantren Ecology, Morally Conscious Generation

Abstract

This study examines the effect of mind mapping on the understanding of student concepts in Islamic religious education. Understanding the concept is a form of interpreting, translating an information in the form of objects, activities, abstractions (segregation) as well as events that students have received into semantic memory, then students declare the information using its own way. The problem in this research is whether there is a significant influence of the use of mind map towards understanding the concept in the Islamic education subject. The research method was conducted with quasi experiment with nonequivalent pretest-post test control group design. Hypothesis testing was analyzed using different test (t-test) with 5% significance level. The result of Ho hypothesis testing which states there is no difference of mean score of concept comprehension between student group using mind map with using lecture rejected. The results showed that the significance value of 0.000 is much smaller than the required level of significance of 0.05. It can be concluded that the use of mind map can influence the understanding of the concept of students in Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop ICT-based learning media in the form of animated videos and test their validity, student responses, and effectiveness in increasing student learning motivation in Pancasila Education subjects at Baiturrohman Elementary School, Jember. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The research subjects consisted of expert lecturers, class teachers, and fifth-grade students of Baiturrohman Elementary School, Jember. The research instruments were validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The validation results by material, media, and language experts showed a “very valid” category with an average score of 91.2%. Student responses to animated video media reached 93.4% with a “very good” category. The effectiveness test, conducted through a comparison of pretest and posttest scores, revealed a significant increase, with an average posttest score of 84.3, surpassing the pretest score of 67.1. Thus, ICT-based learning media in the form of animated videos are feasible to use and are effective in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning.
