Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of the implementation of school principals' democratic leadership style in educational institutions. Democratic leadership style is the ability to influence other people to cooperate in achieving the goals that have been set by means of various activities that will be carried out jointly determined by the leader and subordinates. This article discusses the meaning of school principal leadership, the meaning of a school principal's democratic leadership style, and the factors that influence a school principal's leadership style. The method used in this research is a literature review or literature study. Literature study is an information gathering technique that is carried out by reviewing several articles that match the title of the discussion. The data collection process was carried out by searching for various articles on Google Scholar and analyzed in the form of a simplified approach. and there were 7 articles in this research which were then reviewed and packaged in the form of a literature review matrix. The results of the analysis show that the democratic leadership style has been widely applied by school principals in educational institutions, for example in making decisions, in improving teacher professionalism, teacher performance, teacher work discipline, student discipline, and in improving student learning outcomes and the quality of graduates.

Abstract

Komunikasi efektif memiliki peran penting dalam penyelesaian konflik, khususnya di organisasi dan lembaga pendidikan. Konflik sering kali timbul akibat perbedaan persepsi, nilai, atau tujuan, yang diperburuk oleh miskomunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis peran komunikasi efektif dalam manajemen konflik Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur untuk menganalisis peran komunikasi dalam manajemen konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer berupa artikel jurnal yang membahas manajemen konflik, komunikasi efektif, dan aplikasinya dalam lingkungan pendidikan atau organisasi, seperti pesantren dan sekolah. Selain itu, sumber sekunder meliputi buku referensi, laporan penelitian, dan artikel pendukung yang relevan Hasil menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi efektif dapat mengurangi ketegangan, memfasilitasi dialog, dan mendorong tercapainya solusi bersama melalui strategi seperti mediasi, negosiasi, dan musyawarah. Di lembaga pendidikan, seperti sekolah dan pesantren, komunikasi terbuka antara pemimpin, guru, dan siswa terbukti membangun kepercayaan dan kolaborasi. Selain menyelesaikan konflik, komunikasi efektif juga memperkuat hubungan interpersonal, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan mendorong inovasi. Dengan demikian, pengelolaan konflik berbasis komunikasi efektif menjadi langkah strategis untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang harmonis dan mendukung perkembangan organisasi serta individu.

Abstract

This study explores effective conflict management strategies to transform tension into learning opportunities and educational success. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze various strategies such as negotiation, mediation, and collaboration. The findings indicate that well-managed conflicts can enhance learning quality, build interpersonal skills, and foster innovation within educational settings. This study provides new insights into the importance of leveraging conflicts as catalysts for learning and organizational development in education.

Abstract

The role of teachers in the development process is as important as the role of parents. Because development is systematic, progressive, and continuous. This study aims to determine how a teacher plays a significant role in the development of children in a madrasah. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a role in the emotional development of children while at school. Good development can be done by teachers in various ways such as monitoring what children do at school, building patterns of interaction and communication by being a good listener and building children's self-confidence at school, so that children are able to recognize themselves so that emotional development is optimal, finally by providing an understanding and explanation of what emotions are like and how to control them.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are a problem that can arise anywhere and can be experienced by any-one. Learning difficulties are not always caused by low intelligence, but can also be caused by non-intelligence factors. Parenting has a role in children's development, including their personality and also in their learning process. This research was conducted to find out the causes of learning difficulties experienced by school-age children. The method used is qual-itative research, with an explanatory case study. The subject in this study is a 10-year- old school-age child. The data collected in this research is by using interview, observation, intel-ligence test (CFIT test), and graphic test. The results showed that the learning difficulties experienced by the subject were not only caused by intelligence factors, but also influenced by the parenting received by the subject in the family. The subject has an intelligence level below average, which puts him in the category of slow learners. In addition, permissive par-enting and excessive attention from family members, especially the grandmother, also con-tributed to the subject's learning difficulties.

Abstract

Pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional yang lebih bersifat satu arah sering kali kurang memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk berpikir kritis, berkreasi, berkomunikasi, dan berkolaborasi secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji implementasi model collaborative inquiry sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan 4C siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI di MAN 2 Situbondo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan collaborative inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan 4C. Siswa mengalami peningkatan 85% dalam berpikir kritis, yang terlihat dari kemampuan mereka dalam menganalisis informasi dan mengevaluasi data secara mendalam. Keterampilan komunikasi meningkat sebesar 78%, ditandai dengan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyampaikan ide secara sistematis dan berdiskusi secara persuasif. Kemampuan kolaborasi mengalami peningkatan sebesar 82%, menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih nyaman bekerja dalam tim, berbagi tanggung jawab, dan terlibat aktif dalam diskusi kelompok. Dari segi kreativitas, terdapat peningkatan sebesar 74%, di mana siswa lebih aktif menampilkan pemahaman mereka melalui karya visual, presentasi, atau solusi inovatif. Faktor pendukung dalam implementasi model ini adalah keterlibatan aktif siswa dan interaksi kelompok yang lebih dinamis. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa hambatan, seperti perbedaan tingkat partisipasi siswa, pengelolaan kelompok yang perlu diperbaiki, serta keterbatasan fasilitas pendukung diskusi. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Collaborative Inquiry merupakan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dibandingkan metode ceramah tradisional karena mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

Formation of the character of students in terms of religion, ethics, morals and manners in interacting with the community, education is designed and implemented by forming characters by the values of the nation's cultural character, especially in IPS learning. The formation of the character of students through habituation and example as outlined in IPS learning which is the initial stage of IPS learning based on Curriculum 13 which cannot be separated from the role of the class teacher itself and forms into IPS learning guided by BSNP through the Semester Program (PROSEM), Syllabus and RPP (lesson plan). The supporting factors for character include exemplary and guiding awareness from teachers, good coordination from all school parties, and cooperation from each school component in shaping the character of students with higher commitment. The inhibiting factors for the formation of the character of students are the lack of self-awareness of the students, the limited ability of the teacher to act decisively against students who violate and the influence of the environment around students.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah memainkan peran krusial dalam menghadapi tantangan kompleks di era globalisasi, terutama dalam memotivasi guru dan siswa untuk mencapai kesuksesan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis integrasi psikologi manajemen dalam strategi kepemimpinan visioner untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang dinamis dan inovatif. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi literatur, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa kepala sekolah perlu memiliki visi yang jelas, kemampuan komunikasi efektif, serta pemahaman mendalam tentang kebutuhan psikologis guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi seperti pemberian penghargaan, pelatihan profesional, partisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan, dan pendekatan empatik terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi kepemimpinan visioner dan psikologi manajemen dapat membangun budaya sekolah yang kolaboratif, inklusif, dan berorientasi pada pencapaian tujuan akademik berkelanjutan.
