Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the Interaction of humic acid and nitrogen application on growth, yield, and quality of shallot (2) to determine the effect of the combination of nitrogen fertilizer and humic acid, and determine the right dose for the growth, yield, and quality of shallot. This research was conducted in Kuningan, which is located in Lengkong Village, Garawangi District, Kuningan Regency, West Java Province. The research location has an altitude of 600 meters above sea level, an average temperature of 180C to 320C, and an average rainfall of 1,433.6 mm/year. This research was conducted from November 2023 to January 2024. The method used is the experimental method with a Randomized Group Design (RAD) factorial pattern. The treatment consisted of 2 factors, the dose of humic acid and the dose of nitrogen fertilizer. The dose of humic acid consisted of four levels: A0 = Control (Without Humic Acid), A1 = 2 kg / ha, A2 = 4 kg / ha, and A3 = 6 kg / ha. While the treatment of nitrogen fertilizer dose consisted of four levels: N1 = 25% of the recommended dose (urea 62.5 kg / ha), N2 = 50% of the recommended dose (urea 125 kg / ha), N3 = 75% of the recommended dose (urea 187.5 kg / ha), N4 = 100% of the recommended dose (urea 250 kg/ha). From these two factors, 16 treatment combinations were obtained and repeated 2 times, so that overall there were 32 experimental plots, in each experimental plot 5 plants were selected as sample plants. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the following conclusions are: 1 (a) The dose of humic acid and nitrogen fertilizer gave a significant interaction effect on variables of root crown ratio, bulb volume, fresh bulb weight/plant, fresh bulb weight per plot, sun-dried tuber weight per clump, sun-dried tuber weight/plot, bulb weight loss and bulb dissolved solids. (b) Humic acid gave a significant effect on all variables, except for weight loss and water content. The dose of nitrogen fertilizer gave a significant effect on all observation variables except for the water content observation variable. 2. The humic acid dose of 6 kg/ha had the best effect on the growth component. The humic acid dose of 4 kg/ha and nitrogen 187.5 kg/ha gave the best effect on the weight of sun-dried bulb per plot of 1.78 kg or equivalent to 8.43 tons/ha.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the profitability of the partnership pattern of People’s Sugarcane Credit (TRK) and Independent People’s Sugarcane (TRM) in PT. PG Rajawali II Sindanglaut Unit. This research method uses descriptive quantitative with profitability analysis, differential test, and multiple linear regression. The sample of this study is 90 farmers, including 30 TRK and 60 TRM. The result of this study is that there are differences in working capital financing mechanisms between TRK and TRM. The profitability analysis showed a significant difference with the profitability of TRM of (15.84%) higher than the TRK of (12.15%). Multiple linear regression analysis states that the production variable and the KUR loan variable have a significant effect on profitability, with the production variable being the most significant factor on profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to understand tofu entrepreneurs' perceptions of the factors affecting the decline of the tofus industry both simultaneously and partially in Kuningan Regency. The study employs descriptive quantitative methods through a survey approach, aiming to explain and summarize various conditions and situations while revealing problems or facts in more depth. This study also utilizes measurements and analyses to explore the views of tofo entrepreneurs regarding the elements that contribute to the decline in the number of industries. The results indicate that the entrepreneurs' perceived factors regarding capital, raw materials, labor, marketing, and training simultaneously have a significant effect on the decline, with a p-value of 0.049  0.05. In contrast, the capital factor does not have an impact on industry decline, while the marketing factor partially influences industry decline. In addition, the effect of reactivating tempeh-tofu cooperatives (Kopti) on operational efficiency and profitability is not significant. The findings provide practical implications for policymakers and entrepreneurs to address industry challenges. These avenues could provide valuable insights and actionable strategies that could be applied locally.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenerapan Smart Farming dilakukan sebagai upaya memenuhi kebutuhan produk pangan masyarakat secara maksimal, berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. Smart Farming memanfatkan jaringan internet sebagai sumber data secara online yang dihubungan dengan instalasi sistem budidaya tanaman. Salah satu teknik budidaya modern adalah sistem hidroponik, yaitu teknik budidaya tanpa tanah dengan memaksimalkan kebutuhan nutrisi yang dibutuhkan oleh tanaman pada media air. Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan Prototype Smart Farming melalui digitalisasi sistem budidaya pada usaha hidroponik sehingga dapat meningkat produksi dan kualitas produk pangan segar yaitu komoditas sayur-sayuran sesuai harapan dan keinginan konsumen. Selain itu penelitian bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas hubungan antara pelaku usaha hidroponik selaku suplier dengan restauran sebagai pembeli melalui peningkatan hasil dan kualitas sayuran hasil budidaya hidroponik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan merancang dan mengaplikasikan platform digitalisasi budidaya sistem hidroponik. Digitalisasi budidaya dapat mengontrol kebutuhan air dan nutrisi secara optimal sehingga menghasilkan produksi yang maksimal dan berkualitas baik. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bawah dengan aplikasi digitalisasi hidroponik dapat meningkatkan produksi dan kualitas sayur segar. Dengan meningkatnya produksi dan kualitas memberi dampak positif bagi keberlanjutan stok sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan pembeli dan kualitas hubungan antara pelaku usaha hidroponik sebagai suplier dengan restauran sebagai pembeli. Meningkatnya kualitas hubungan dapat berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan rantai pasok produk sayur segar. Kata kunci: Digitalisasi Hidroponik, Pertanian Cerdas,  IoT

Abstract

Background. Zinc (Zn) is known as an important micronutrient for plants, playing a significant role in optimizing growth, yield, and the quantity and quality of rice plants. Aims. This study focuses on determining the optimal dose of Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate (ZnSO4) fertilizer in response to the growth and yield of rice plants, as well as the Zn content in rice. Methods. This study was conducted in Kaliaren, Kuningan, from May to August 2025. This study used a single-factor randomized block design (RAK) with 5 dose treatments and 5 replicates. The data will be processed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's multiple range test (DMRT). Conclusion. The results of this study indicate that 8 kg/ha of zinc sulfate heptahydrate fertilizer is the optimal dose for increasing the quantity and quality of rice (Oryza sativa L.) yields.
