Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the effect of the combination of planting distance and type of manure on the growth and yield of green bean plants (Vigna radiata L) cultivar VIMA-1, (2) To determine the combination of planting distance and type of manure that can have the best influence on the growth and yield of mung bean plants (Vigna radiata L) VIMA-1 cultivar. The research was conducted in Wirakanan Village, Kandanghour District, Indramayu Regency, from December 2020 to January 2021. The research method used is the Group Random Design (RAK) method. The treatment consists of three levels of planting distance (20x25 cm, 20x30 cm, and 20x35 cm) and three types of manure (chicken, goat, and cow) with a dose of 6 tons/ha for each manure and without manure. The combination is repeated three times so that there are 36 tiles. Variables observed include Plant height, number of leaves, number of pods, weight of 100 grains, weight of dry seeds per plant, and dry weight per plot. The results showed that: (1) the combination of planting distance and type of cow manure significantly affected plant height aged 15, 22, and 29 HST, number of leaves aged 15, 22, and 29 HST, total number of pods, and seed weight per plot. (2) the combination treatment of planting distance and type of manure produces plant height higher is produced by combination D (20x25 cm and cow manure) at the age of 15, 22, and 29 HST, the combination of planting distance and type of manure produces the number of leaves, the higher is produced by the combination of D (20x25 cm and cow manure) at the age of 15, 22 and 29 HST, the combination of planting spacing and type of manure produces the number of pods, the higher one is produced by the combination of D (20x25 cm and cow manure), the combination of planting spacing and type of manure produces the weight of seeds per plot, the higher one is produced by the combination of D (20x25 cm and cow manure). The combination of spacing treatment (20 x 25 cm) and manure (chicken, goat, or cow) at a dose of 6 tons/ha has the best effect on the weight of dry beans per plot, which is 0.64 kg or equivalent to 15.23 quintals/ha (80% effective land).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of AB mix solution and planting media on the growth and yield of caisim (Brassica juncea L.) in a floating hydroponic system. This research was carried out from March 2022 to April 2022 at the CV Green Vest Hydroponic Garden located in Cirebon City, West Java, at an altitude of 4 m above sea level. The research used the Split Plot Design method, the main factor AB mix concentration consisting of 3 levels (10, 14, 18 ml/l) and the second factor as a subplot, namely the planting medium consisting of 3 levels (cocopeat, sawdust, zeolite). Observations were made on plant height, number of leaves, root length, root volume, fresh weight per plant, and fresh weight per plot. The results showed that there was an interaction between the concentration of AB mix and planting media on plant height at 7 DAP, number of leaves at 7, 14, and 21 DAP, root length at 21 DAP, root volume at 14 DAP and 21 DAP, fresh weight per plant, and fresh weight per plot. The AB mix concentration treatment had an independent effect on plant height at 14 and 21 DAP, root length at 7 and 14 DAP, and root volume at 7 DAP. Meanwhile, the planting media treatment had an independent effect on plant height at 14 and 21 DAP, root length at 7 and 14 DAP, and root volume at 7 DAP. The treatment of cocopeat planting media and AB mix concentration of 18 ml/l gave the highest average fresh weight per plot, 4.01 kg.

Abstract

Weed control by weeding is the safest alternative but requires a lot of labor and costs. Therefore, knowledge about the critical period for soybean plants against weeds is necessary so that weeding can be done timely and efficiently. This study aimed to determine the effect of weeding time on the growth and yield of soybean and critical period to weeds. The study was conducted in Mekarjaya Village, Gantar District, Indramayu Regency, from September to December 2023. The experimental design was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The treatments tested were the time of weeding which consisted of nine levels: weeds free, weeding at 3 weeks after planting (WAP), weeding at 4 WAP, weeding at 5 WAP, weeding at 6 WAP, weeding at 7 WAP, weeding at 8 WAP, B9 = not weeded. All treatments were repeated three time. The results showed that the time of weeding treatment had no significant effect on growth component but had a significant effect to yield components and yield of soybean. The time of weeding treatment showed that the critical period for soybean cultivar Dena 2 occurred at 0-9 WAP with a yield loss due to weed competition of 8.87% to 27%.

Abstract

Chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is one of the raw material crops with high economic value in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the effect of rice husk biochar on the vegetative growth of cayenne pepper plants (Capsicum frutescens L.) Absolute 69 variety. This research was conducted from June to August 2024 in Kertasura Village, Kapetakan District, Cirebon Regency. The technique used in this research was a randomized block design (RAK) with six treatments. The rice husk biochar treatments tested consisted of B0 (0 t/ha control), B1 (2.5 t/ha), B2 (5 t/ha), B3 (7.5 t/ha), and B4 (10 t /ha) and B5 (12.5 t/ha) and each treatment was repeated four times so that resulting in 24 trials. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, root volume, and plant dry weight. The results showed that applying rice husk biochar affected all parameters except root volume. Providing 10 tons of rice husk biochar per hectare is most effective for the vegetative growth of chili peppers.

Abstract

Orchids are epiphytic plants that only absorb a few nutrients through the roots, so using leaf fertilizers and planting media is one solution to increase the nutrients in orchid plants. This research was conducted in the greenhouse of Situgangga Village, Karyaryamulya Village Kesambi District, Cirebon City, West Java Province in June-September 2024. The experimental design was a completely randomized (CRD) treatment consisting of 9 repeated treatments 3 times. The variables observed were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, leaf thickness, number of leaves, number of roots, stomata density, and chlorophyll content. The results showed that using fern planting media and foliar fertilizer at intervals of 9 days gave good results on plant height, leaf length, and number of leaves.

Abstract

The study aims to find out: (1) The effect of the combination of bioslurry and spacing of shallots (Allium Ascalonicum L.) (2) The effect of the combination of bioslurry concentration and the best planting distance on the ha sil of onion plants (Allium Ascalonicum L.). (3) Correlation between growth components and yield of onion plants (Allium Ascalonicum L.). The research was conducted in Karangwangun Village, Babakan District, Cirebon Regency - West Java. The research was conducted from August to December 2022. The experimental method used is using the experimental method with Group Random Design (RAK), the treatment consists of two factors that are repeated 3 times. The first factor is bioslurry with concentrate of 5% or 50 ml/lt, 10% or 100 ml/lt, 15% or 150 ml/lt. While the second factor is the planting distance which consists of three levels, namely planting distances of 20 cm x 10 cm, 20 cm x 15 cm, 20 cm x 20 cm. The main observation data were processed using statistical tests, fingerprint analysis, and further test analysis of the Scott-Knott group. To determine the correlation between treatment and the components of rice growth and yield, the correlation used is with the Product Moment correlation coefficient. The experimental results showed: (1) The combination of Bioslurry and planting distance affected the number of saplings, root volume, plant growth rate aged 15 HST-25 HST, tuber diameter, fresh tuber weight per clump, dry tuber weight per clump, and dry tuber weight per plot, (2) The highest dry tuber weight per plot of 3.74 kg per plot or equivalent to 9.972 tons / ha (land efficiency 80%) was obtained in the combination of E treatment (bioslurry 50 ml / liter and planting distance 20cm x 15cm), and (3) There was a marked correlation between the number of leaves at 25 HST and 35 HST and the number of saplings in all observation periods with dry tuber weights per plot

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari faktor tenaga kerja, luas tambak, pengalaman kerja, jumlah benur, jumlah pakan terhadap pendapatan petani tambak udang vannamei, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial , penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pangkalan Kecamatan Losarang Kabupaten Indramayu selama bulan Juli-Agustus 2023, desain penelitian adalah Kuantitatif Deskriptif dan mengunakan metode survai, jumlah sempel yang digunakan yaitu 50 petani tambak udang vannamei dan dilakukan secara sensus, analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan mengunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda dengan pendekatan Fungsi Cobb Douglass dan ditransformasikan ke Logaritma Natural. Hasil Penelitian menyimpulkan secara simultan, faktor tenaga kerja, luas tambak, pengalaman kerja, jumlah benur dan jumlah pakan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pendapatan petani tambak udang vannamei, secara parsial yang berpengaruh signifikan yaitu faktor tenaga kerja, luas tambak, pengalaman kerja, jumlah benur dan jumlah pakan, dan yang paling besar pengaruhnya adalah jumlah pakan untuk itu disarankan kepada petani tambak udang vannamei agar dapat  memperhatikan kembali dalam jumlah pakan, jenis dan teknik pemberian pakan agar pakan dapat digunakan secara optimal oleh udang dan agar bisa mengikatkan pendapatannya secara simulatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of combination treatment of plant spacing and nitrogen fertilizer (Urea fertilizer and NPK fertilizer) on the growth and yield of rice varieties Inpari 48 Blas. This research was carried out from May to September 2021 in the public rice fields of Sendang Village, Karangampel District, Indramayu Regency. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RAK) with a combination pattern: Spacing consisting of: 25 cm x 25 cm spacing, 2:1 legowo spacing (25 cm x 12.5 cm x 50 cm), and plant spacing. legowo 2:1 (25 cm x 20 cm x 50 cm), N fertilizer dose consisting of 60 kg N fertilizer (100 kg Urea fertilizer and 100 kg Phonska NPK), 90 kg N fertilizer (150 kg Urea fertilizer and Phonska NPK 150 kg) and 120 kg N fertilizer (200 kg Urea fertilizer and 200 kg Phonska NPK fertilizer). The results showed that there was a significant effect between the combination of spacing and dose of nitrogen fertilizer on all growth components and yield components of the Inpari 48 Blas variety, the best weight of milled dry grain per plot was obtained at the combination treatment of row spacing legowo 2:1 (25 cm x 20 cm x 50 cm) and a nitrogen fertilizer dose of 120 kg/ha (200 kg Urea fertilizer/ha and Phonska NPK fertilizer 200 kg/ha) which yielded 14.71 kg/plot or equivalent to 6.54 tons/ha. In addition, the best dry milled grain weight per plot was also found in the combination treatment of 2:1 row spacing legowo (25 cm x 12.5 cm x 50 cm) and a nitrogen fertilization dose of 120 kg/ha (200 kg urea fertilizer/ha and Phonska NPK 200 kg/ha) which yielded 14.61 kg/plot or equivalent to 6.49 tons/ha, there was a significant correlation between plant height, number of tillers per clump, root volume, Leaf Area Index (ILD), and rate of plant growth (LPT) with the weight of milled dry grain per plot per plot.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) Interaction of humic acid and nitrogen application on growth, yield, and quality of shallot (2) To determine the effect of the combination of nitrogen fertilizer and humic acid and determining the right dose for the growth, yield, and quality of shallot. This research was conducted in Kuningan which is located in Lengkong Village, Garawangi District, Kuningan Regency, West Java Province. The research location has an altitude of 600 meters above sea level, average temperature of 180C to 320C, and an average rainfall of 1,433.6 mm/year. This research was conducted from November 2023 to January 2024. The method used is the experimental method with a Randomized Group Design (RAD) factorial pattern. The treatment consisted of 2 factors, the dose of humic acid and the dose of nitrogen fertilizer. The dose of humic acid consisted of four levels: A0 = Control (Without Humic Acid), A1 = 2 kg / ha, A2 = 4 kg / ha, and A3 = 6 kg / ha. While the treatment of nitrogen fertilizer dose consisted of four levels: N1 = 25% of the recommended dose (urea 62.5 kg / ha), N2 = 50% of the recommended dose (urea 125 kg / ha), N3 = 75% of the recommended dose (urea 187.5 kg / ha), N4 = 100% of the recommended dose (urea 250 kg/ha). From these two factors, 16 treatment combinations were obtained and repeated 2 times, so that overall there were 32 experimental plots, in each experimental plot 5 plants were selected as sample plants. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the following conclusions are: 1 (a) The dose of humic acid and nitrogen fertilizer gave a significant interaction effect on variables of root crown ratio, bulb volume, fresh bulb weight/plant, fresh bulb weight per plot, sun-dried tuber weight per clump, sun-dried tuber weight/plot, bulb weight loss and bulb dissolved solids. (b) Humic acid gave a significant effect on all variables, except for weight loss and water content. The dose of nitrogen fertilizer gave a significant effect on all observation variables except for the water content observation variable.
