Abstract

Abstrak: Fokus penelitian ini didasarkan permasalahan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi teks cerita inspiratif di kelas IX khususnta kelas IX-C SMPN 2 Mataram. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik menggunakan aplikasi Wordwall dalam pembelajaran teks cerita inspiratif di SMPN 2 Mataram, dengan fokus pada uapaya peningkatan minat belajar sehingga akan menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi peserta didik. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan di kelas IX-C SMPN 2 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan model siklus yang pengamatannya dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa merasa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar setelah menggunakan media wordwall dan peningkatan persentase hasil belajar dari 47,3% pada siklus I berubah 89,4% pada siklus II yang berarti minat belajar siswa mengalami kenaikan atau kemajuan yang signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media wordwall dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil pembelajaran siswa pada materi teks cerita inspiratif.Abstract:  The focus of this research is based on the problem of learning Indonesian with inspirational story text material in class IX, especially class IX-C, SMPN 2 Mataram. This article aims to see the increase in students' interest in learning using the Wordwall application in learning inspirational story texts at SMPN 2 Mataram, with a focus on efforts to increase interest in learning so that it will create fun and meaningful learning for students. This classroom action research was conducted in class IX-C of SMPN 2 Mataram. This research uses a cycle model where observations are carried out in two cycles. The research results showed that students felt more motivated to learn after using wordwall media and the percentage of learning outcomes increased from 47.3% in cycle I to 89.4% in cycle II, which means that students' interest in learning experienced a significant increase or progress. This shows that wordwall media can increase student motivation and learning outcomes on inspirational story text material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang hasil belajar siswa belajar Bahasa Indonesia melalui Penerapan Model Discovery Learning”. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan subyek penelitian kelas XI AP - 1 SMK Negeri 4 Mataram semester Ganjil tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 21 orang. Data keterampilan proses siswa dikumpulkan dengan pedoman observasi dan data tentang hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan tes hasil belajar. Pelaksanaan tindakan diawali dengan membagi kelas menjadi lima kelompok, menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran, menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, diskusi kelompok, presentasi kelompok. Hasil  evaluasi  menunjukkan  hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia dari persentase rata-rata kelas pada siklus I 71,43%  menjadi 90,48% pada siklus II. Tindakan pada siklus II memberikan peningkatan sesuai dengan harapan dan memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan yang sudah ditentukan karena hanya ada 2 siswa yang mendapat nilai di bawah KKM yang ditetapkan yakni 70. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI AP - 1 semester ganjil SMK Negeri 4 Mataram dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada siklus I hasilnya berada pada kategori cukup dengan hasil presentase 71,43%. Sedangkan ada siklus II persentase hasil belajar siswa mencapai 90,48% yang berada pada kategori baik. Hasil belajar dari siklus I dan siklus II terdapat kenaikan sebesar 19,05%.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian ini berkaitan tentang menyelenggarakan pelatihan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar bagi guru pendidikan dasar di Jerowaru, Lombok Timur. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka, memperkuat kemampuan dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), serta membantu guru mempraktikkan strategi pembelajaran inovatif berbasis proyek. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan meliputi diskusi, simulasi, dan praktik langsung, dengan tahapan yang mencakup persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru, termasuk kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun RPP yang relevan dan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang kontekstual di kelas. Hambatan yang dihadapi, seperti keterbatasan akses teknologi dan perbedaan tingkat pemahaman peserta, berhasil diatasi melalui bimbingan intensif dan pendekatan adaptif. Pelatihan ini mendukung penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di Jerowaru dengan membantu guru mengintegrasikan potensi lokal ke dalam pembelajaran, yang berdampak positif pada kualitas pendidikan dasar di wilayah tersebut. Artikel ini merekomendasikan pengembangan pelatihan serupa di daerah lain serta pentingnya dukungan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Kata kunci: pelatihan; implementasi; kurikulum merdeka; sekolah dasar. Abstract This service community was related to the implementation of a training program on the application of the Merdeka Curriculum for elementary school teachers in Jerowaru, East Lombok. The training aimed to enhance teachers' understanding of the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, strengthen their ability to design Lesson Plans (RPP), and assist them in practicing innovative project-based teaching strategies. The training employed participatory methods, including discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice, with stages covering preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed significant improvements in teachers' competencies, particularly in developing relevant lesson plans and applying contextual teaching strategies in the classroom. Challenges such as limited access to technology and variations in participants' understanding were effectively addressed through intensive mentoring and adaptive approaches. This training supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Jerowaru by helping teachers integrate local potential into their teaching practices, positively impacting the quality of elementary education in the region. The article recommends the development of similar training programs in other regions and emphasizes the need for continuous support to ensure the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Keywords: training; implementation; merdeka curriculum; elementary schools

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the quality of English language learning in elementary schools through training in the use of digital media and artificial intelligence (AI) for teachers at SDN 1 Labu Api, West Lombok. The program was initiated due to the limited use of digital media and AI in English language teaching, which has resulted in low student engagement and learning effectiveness. Activities include needs analysis, intensive training, classroom mentoring, and program evaluation. Teachers are introduced to various platforms such as Canva, Quizizz, YouTube Edu, Duolingo, and ChatGPT to improve teaching practices and student engagement. Evaluation results show a significant increase in digital literacy, confidence, and teachers' ability to create interactive teaching materials. Post-training observations revealed a shift toward more innovative and technology-integrated teaching methods. The program also fostered a collaborative culture among teachers and sparked sustainable changes in classroom dynamics. Abstract

The rapid advancement of AI-driven translation tools has significantly transformed English vocabulary acquisition, particularly in global communication. These tools offer innovative methods for enhancing language learning by providing instant translations, contextual examples, and user-friendly interfaces. However, despite their widespread adoption, the effectiveness of these tools in improving vocabulary acquisition remains underexplored. This study investigates the role of AI translation tools in facilitating vocabulary development among university students. By employing a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative analysis with qualitative insights, the research evaluates the impact of these tools on learners’ vocabulary retention and usage. The findings reveal that AI translation tools can effectively support vocabulary learning by offering immediate feedback and diverse contextual applications. However, challenges such as over-reliance on technology and inaccuracies in translation highlight the need for cautious implementation. The study concludes that AI-driven translation tools have the potential to enhance vocabulary acquisition and foster intercultural communication, provided they are integrated thoughtfully into educational practices. Further research is recommended to explore their long-term effects and optimize their role in language education.
