Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive description of the use of the PMRI (Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education) approach assisted by the PACAPI (Pizza Fraction Board) teaching media. The subjects of this study were 24 third-grade students of SD 4 Dersalam, located in Dersalam Village, Bae District, Kudus Regency. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects, totaling 24 people, were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this study included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The analysis results show that this PMRI approach provides a strong foundational concept to the students. Students begin to think about anything related to the topic of fractions. Then, they show a strong desire to participate, not only listening attentively but also being eager to answer questions. Finally, when solving problems, students are able to use symbols without using teaching media.

Abstract

The growing complexity of the global environmental crisis demands an Islamic da'wah approach that is not only spiritual but also ecological. The concept of Green Da'wah, or environmentally conscious da'wah, has emerged as a strategic approach to cultivating Muslim awareness of their role as khalīfah fī al-arḍ (vicegerents on Earth). Within Indonesian society, a range of local religious traditions, such as nyadran, sedekah bumi, tahlilan, and slametan, contain ecological wisdom that holds significant potential as instruments for both Islamic da'wah and education. This study aims to theoretically examine the integration of local wisdom found in these religious traditions with Islamic ecological principles, and to explore the role of Islamic education as a medium for revitalizing such traditions in response to modernity and environmental degradation. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, this study analyzes scholarly references from Islamic sources, cultural anthropology, Islamic education, and ecotheology. The findings reveal a convergence of values between local traditions and Islamic teachings on living harmoniously with nature, which can be implemented through culturally rooted Islamic education. Institutions such as Islamic boarding schools and madrasas hold strategic potential in shaping students' ecological character through contextualized curricula grounded in local wisdom. These findings underscore the importance of integrating local traditions into Islamic education as a sustainable and culturally embedded strategy for ecological da'wah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital literacy level of students majoring in Qur'anic Studies and Interpretation at IAI Badrus Sholeh, who are located in a boarding school environment, and to examine the effectiveness of training in the use of websites for searching for classical Islamic texts as an effort to improve academic competence. The pre-test results show that students' digital literacy is still low to moderate, especially in terms of access to and utilization of digital scientific resources, while the use of digital media is mostly limited to general needs such as social media. The training was conducted in stages through workshops, book search practices, group discussions, and mentoring, which equipped students with conceptual understanding as well as technical skills in optimizing the classical book website. The post-test evaluation showed a significant increase in both technical skills and changes in students' attitudes towards the importance of digital literacy in scientific studies. These findings confirm that the integration of digital literacy through structured training can strengthen the academic tradition of Islamic boarding schools by combining classical scientific heritage (turats) and the use of modern technology. Conceptually, this research contributes to the development of an Islamic education model that is adaptive to the demands of the digital era without abandoning the roots of the Islamic boarding school tradition.
