Abstract

The infiltration of the glomeruli and interstitium by immunocompetent cells are common finding ofkidney with diabetic nephropathy. On the other hand, there is an increasing synthesis of chemokines andother inflammatory mediators by glomerular and tubular cells in hyperglycemic conditions. Single nucleotidepolymorphisms (SNPs) G46295A of MCP-1 (CCR2 are thought playing a key role in the development ofdiabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine whether the riskof diabetic nephropathy is influenced by polymorphisms of CCR2. In addition, this research is also aimed todetermine whether the gender in the diabetic nephropathy patient is influenced by polymorphisms of CCR2 intype 2 diabetes in Indonesian population especially ethnic of Java. A case-control study was performed, including 60 type 2 diabetes patients, 31 subjects with diabetic nephropathy and 29 subjects with nondiabetic nephropathy in Margono Soekarjo Hospital and Sardjito hospital. Polymorphisms of CCR2 wereanalyzed by PCR-RFLP method. The results were analyzed by chi-square. Amount of male in the casesubjects (67,7%) more than amount of male in control subjects (44,8%). G46295A of MCP-1 (CCR2)receptor gene had higher risk of developing diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes (X2 = 12.308, p =0.002). Male individual carry the GA genotype of CCR2 had significant risk of developing diabeticnephropathy (p = 0.004, OR 9.6). This study showed that G46295A MCP-1 (CCR2) receptor gene had higherrisk of developing diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes in Indonesian population especially ethnics ofJava. Male with G46295A MCP-1 (CCR2) receptor gene were more than female and had higher risk ofdeveloping diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes in Indonesian population, especially Java ethnic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of hijrah intention and customers' decisions to use Islamic banks. This study carries out the development of a theory of planned behavior which consists of attitude factors, subjective norms and behavior control. The development that is done is to modify the intention in the theory of planned behavior to become hijrah intention. Another development is adding the factor of Islamic branding to analyze its effect on hijrah intention and customer decisions. The next development is to link the influence of hijrah intention on customer decisions. Other developments also add a moderating construct, namely Islamic financial literacy with the aim of Islamic financial literacy can be a determinant of strengthening or weakening the variable of hijrah intention towards customer decisions. This study is a study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study are all customers of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The sample of this research is 275 respondents from 34 provinces in Indonesia. Data analysis used SEM with the SmartPLS 3 application. The results in this study indicate that the theory of planned behavior which consists of attitude variables, subjective norms and behavioral control and Islamic branding variables has a significant positive effect on hijrah intention. Islamic branding also has a significant influence on customer decisions. Hijrah intention has no significant effect on customer decisions. Islamic financial literacy weakens the effect of hijrah intention on customer decisions.

Abstract

Breast cancer poses a significant global health challenge, with a notable prevalence in Indonesia. Given the intricate nature of breast cancer progression and classification, precise treatment strategies are imperative, particularly targeting signaling pathways like PI3K/AKT, pivotal in cell growth, proliferation, survival, and apoptosis. Bioactive compounds from the Strychnine tree demonstrate potential in enhancing apoptotic effects and inhibiting breast carcinogenesis. This potential is explored through in silico studies. This research aims to analyze potential targets of Strychnine tree compounds, along with binding energy and stability between ligands and receptors. Employing bioinformatics target analysis, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics simulation, the study reveals AKT1 as a potential target of Strychnine tree compounds. These compounds inhibit AKT1 at both active and allosteric sites, displaying notably low binding energy scores. For example, brucine exhibits a binding energy of -10.83 kJ/mol at the active site, surpassing the standard capivasertib. However, lupeol, with a binding energy of -11.14 kJ/mol, falls short of the MK-2206 standard at the allosteric site. Molecular dynamics simulations expose fluctuations in parameters like RMSD, RMSF, and binding energy within the initial 5 ns. In conclusion, Strychnine tree compounds, such as brucine and lupeol, showcase potential AKT1 inhibition at both active and allosteric sites, enhancing apoptotic effects. However, the stability of these compounds in binding to their receptors within the first 5 ns of the simulation warrants further investigation for prolonged interactions.
