Abstract

The millennial generation, also known as generation Y, is a demographic group after generation X. Many researchers are still debating the exact year of their birth, but most estimate that this generation was born between 1980 and 2000. This generation is now an adult, and has even colored the world. especially in the business sector. Experts believe they have great potential to turn the wheels of the world economy in the near future. This generation has the most control over technology and has the most potential to take the momentum of change in the post-covid-19 era. It was this generation's high interest in pursuing the business world that prompted this research. So this study aims to analyze the role of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the interest in entrepreneurship for the millennial generation. The object of research is focused on students in the city of Yogyakarta who are still actively studying. The sample is determined at least 15% of the population. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire via googleform. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a positive and significant effect either partially or simultaneously on the millennial generation's entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior merupakan perilaku pegawai yang menyimpang dari ketentuan, namun menguntungkan bagi organisasi. Organisasi saat ini secara umum sudah diwarnai oleh generasi milenial sebagai penggeraknya. Mereka memiliki karakteristik yang sangat berbeda dengan generasi sebelumnya, diantaranya dalam hal kreatifitas dan familiaritasnya dengan teknologi informasi. Guna mengoptimalkan organizational citizenship behavior ini, pemimpin dan pegawainya harus lebih fokus dalam meningkatkan adversity quotient, terutama dalam hal daya tahan (endurance). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan transformasional dan Adversity Quotient terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behaviorpegawai milenial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumennya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada salahsatu BUMN di Jakarta. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebagian dari pegawai yang ada di BUMN tersebut yang berjumlah 100 responden. Teknik sampling ditentukan dengan judgment sampling. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan Pearson Product Moment, sedangkan uji reliabilitasnya menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan Adversity Quotientberpengaruh signifikan terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.

Abstract

The millennial generation is often referred to as Generation Y. Researchers are still debating the year they were born, but most estimate that this generation was born in the last 22-40 years. This generation has now reached maturity, their talents have colored the world of work, especially in the business sector. Generation Y grew up with technological developments, making it easier to find information, faster to learn, aggressive, creative, and innovative than the previous generation. They are seen as having unique characteristics, expectations, priorities, and work ethic so they are not afraid of change. This unique character is very important for organizations to manifest Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This is important to support organizational performance, namely increasing the organizational ability to adapt to environmental changes such as and improve quality in a sustainable manner. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that can trigger the emergence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The research object is focused on employees who are included in the millennial generation. The sample is determined purposively from the population with certain criteria. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire via Google Forms. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis techniques. The research findings conclude that the Adversity Quotient has no effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, but Transformational Leadership, Organizational Commitment, and Job Satisfaction are stated to have a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

Banyak perusahaan berpendapat bahwa mempromosikan keselarasan antara kehidupan kerja dan kehidupan pribadi adalah hal yang baik untuk perusahaan karena dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dengan menarik pelamar yang lebih berkualitas dan mengurangi tingkat stres di antara para pekerja yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara keseimbangan kehidupan dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja anggota kepolisian di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 139 responden yang merupakan anggota kepolisian. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan judgement sampling yang merupakan salah satu metode dari non probability sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara online menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Instrumen berupa angket atau quesionare yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data telah diuji dengan menggunakan uji validitas korelasi Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas Cronbach Alpha. Selanjutnya metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t dan uji simultan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial keseimbangan kehidupan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja. Stres kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, dan secara simultan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja anggota kepolisian.

Abstract

The role of women's transition as laborers actively participates in economic activities (earning a living) in various activities following the skills and education they have as well as available job opportunities. No exception is a kindergarten teacher. This study aims to determine the effect of role conflict, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on the turnover intention of working women, in this case, the kindergarten teacher ABA Full Day in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The sample was 56 people—data collection using a questionnaire survey method. Test the instrument using a validity test and reliability test. Data analysis using regression test. The result of the research concludes that role conflict and organizational commitment have a significant effect on turnover intention. In contrast, job satisfaction has no significant effect on turnover intention. However, role conflict, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment significantly affect turnover intention. These findings provide a thought-provoking insight into the difficulties encountered by female teachers, underscoring the vital need to tackle these factors in order to cultivate a supportive and nurturing educational atmosphere.

Abstract

The characteristics of the millennial generation are different from those of the previous generation. It is important to research the performance of those who currently dominate the world of work, especially the unprecedented work of online motorcycle taxi drivers. The purpose of this study is to determine the balance and work stress on the performance of millennial generation online motorcycle taxi drivers. This study used a quantitative approach, with the subject of online motorcycle taxi drivers, where the population is difficult to know. The sample was determined using the Lameshow formula so that a sample of 100 respondents was obtained. Teknik purposive sampling is used with the criteria of married drivers and classified as millennial generation. Data collection using questionnaires in the form of google forms is distributed directly to online motorcycle taxi drivers. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of work life balance on performance, but on the contrary, there was no effect of work stress on performance.
