Abstract

The problem faced by PT Sari Kayu is that fluctuating production demand and high product variance make production inefficient. If the problem does not have a good factory layout, it affects material handling costs, material handling distances, and material handling time. For example, at PT Sari Kayu, there was a delay during a wrong project because the two projects were running simultaneously. The delay is due to the lack of resistance of the production floor to sudden high fluctuations in production demand. In addition, product variance is also a factor in the longer production process due to the different sequence of production processes and less supportive machine layouts. It is hoped that with the proposed layout, PT Sari Kayu will be able to face the fluctuating demand for production.

Abstract

Pong's Snack is an MSMEs originating from Ponggang Village that produces various types of snacks such as opak, rengginang, cassava chips, wajid, potato chips, taro chips, banana chips, Seroja, kicimpring, and cistik. MSMEs in Ponggang Village still use conventional methods, such as marketing products by entrusting them to stalls, can order in advance via telephone number and the product is delivered directly to the customer. Therefore, the author helps MSMEs to be better known to the wider community by entering the products produced by MSMEs into the Pareang Sate Restaurant and selling their products online through the Tokopedia application. To be able to market products online, it is necessary to take steps that can be used as guidelines in digital marketing activities aimed at the target market and known as AIDA (Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action). The first step taken by the author so that Pong's Snack MSMEs products can be known to consumers is to build awareness of consumers by using the 7P product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence approach. To increase interest in buying a product, a standing pouch is used an attractive label and packaging design.

Abstract

Transformator atau Trafo adalah sebuah alat listrik statis yang berfungsi mentranfromasikan level tegangan dari tinggi ke rendah atau sebaliknya. Trafo dapat mengubah tegangan arus bolak-balik. Trafo sangat penting dalam kelangsungan listrik pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap (PLTGU) Kinerja Trafo harus semaksimal mungkin karena memiliki peranan vital pada pembangkitan listrik. Trafo yang kerja terus menerus jika sudah bertahun-tahun pasti kualitas dari Trafo akan menurun dan jika dibiarkan bisa menjadi rusak. Maka dari itu diperlukan perawatan dan pemeliharaan secara berkala serta penerapan pengujian pada trafo sehingga kinerjanya stabil. Ada beberapa metode yaitu: Tan Delta, DFR, Insulation Resistance, Polarity Index, Winding Resistance, Turn Ratio, DGA, Furan Test, Degree Polymerization, SFRA, Insulation Resistance Tester. Furan Test atau tes kertas isolator pada transformator. Dari cara tersebut, dapat diketahui apa yang harus dilakukan terhadap trafo tersebut, seperti memperbaikinya atau menggantinya dengan yang baru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mensimulasikan jumlah gas dan kesalahan pada trafo dari kandungan gas yang didapat, dengan metode Rogers Ratio. Simulasi ini menggunakan aplikasi bernama MATLAB 2020. Jumlah gas yang berupa angka dari 0 sampai 5 dari 6 macam gas akan menampilkan beberapa macam fault dari Transformator. Pada simulasi ini akan menunjukan fault dari transformator dari jumlah gas yang didapat.

Abstract

Agriculture can benefit from robotics technology to overcome the drawback of limited human labor working in this sector. One of the robot applications in agriculture is a surveillance robot to monitor the condition. This paper describes a surveillance robot that is powered by a capacitor bank charged by a mini solar panel. The solar-powered robot is well-suited for deployment in open agricultural areas in Indonesia, where the irradiance is high. This potential is excellent for generating electricity and charging electric vehicles, such as those used in agriculture. The surveillance robot developed and tested in this study has been successfully deployed in an agriculture-like setting with all-terrain contours and the capacity to avoid obstacles. During high irradiance sunny weather, the shortest charging time was 2 hours. Hence, the proposed technology is effective for designing a surveillance robot for agricultural applications.

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the areas that can benefit from robotics technology, as it faces issues such as a shortage of human labor and access to less arid terrain. Harvesting is an important step in agriculture since workers are required to work around the clock. The red ripe tomatoes should go to the nearest market, while the greenest should go to the farthest market. Harvesting robots can benefit from Neural Network-based image processing to ensure robust detection. The vision system should assist the mobility system in moving precisely and at the appropriate speed. The design and implementation of a harvesting robot are described in this study. The efficiency of the proposed strategy is tested by picking red-ripened tomatoes while leaving the yellowish ones out of the experimental test bed. The experiment results demonstrate that the effectiveness of the proposed method in harvesting the right tomatoes is 80%.

Abstract

Kepuasan pelanggan dapat tercapai dengan kualitas produk yang baik. Sistem pengendalian sangat diperlukan untuk menjamin mutu suatu produk. Metode desain VDI (Verein Deutcher Ingenieure) 2221 digunakan untuk mencari solusi terbaik, optimalisasi penggunaan material, dan optimalisasi teknologi. Tahapan perancangan cover dinamometer menggunakan VDI 2221 adalah klarifikasi tugas, perancangan konseptual, perwujudan konsep, dan perancangan detail. Proses pembuatan, perakitan, pemasangan, dan pengoperasiannya relatif mudah. Yang terpilih adalah varian desain 3 dengan proses 3D printing PLA karena lebih kuat, murah, dan mudah dari varian desain lainnya. Dinamometer menggunakan loadcell sebagai sensor berat dan arduino uno sebagai controller. Beban penyayatan yang terbesar terdapat pada sumbu Z, semakin besar kedalaman pemakanan semakin tinggi beban penyayatan.

Abstract

This paper discusses the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesia's maritime industry, focusing on port operational efficiency. Using literature review and case analysis approaches, the study identifies port business processes, key stakeholders, and digital systems such as INAPORTNET, CEISA, TOS, VMS, Auto Gate, and STID. The readiness of AI adoption at Tanjung Priok Port is assessed based on indicators including technological infrastructure, operational automation, system integration, human resource competence, operational efficiency, and environmental impact. Findings indicate that while digitalization initiatives are ongoing, AI implementation remains at an early stage. Opportunities lie in productivity, safety, and sustainability improvements, while key challenges include digital infrastructure limitations, system integration issues, regulatory gaps, and human resource constraints. The paper concludes that a phased and collaborative strategy among the government, port operators, and industry players is essential to accelerate AI-driven digital transformation in the maritime sector.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the utilization of the worker’s time in the filling process, packaging department, a cup and bottled water company. Considering the aim of the study and the task characteristics, work sampling technique was used. Two production lines and two work stations were selected for time studyanalysis. In each work station, two workers with different tasks were involved for the time analysis. A number 586 and 1710 observations from Worker 1 in Line 1 and Line 2, and 586 and 1440 observations from Worker 2 in Line 1 and Line 2 were taken and observed. Results showed that the utilization of worker’s time are 31.7% and 33.6 % of Worker 1 in Line 1 and Line 2, and 25.6% and 21.0% of Worker 2 in Line 1 and Line 2. Results of significant testing showed that no significant differences were found for workers’ time utilization between Worker 1 in Line 1 and Worker 1 in Line 2 (Z=-0.82, p=0.41) and between Worker 2 in Line 1 and Worker 2 in Line 2 (Z=2.17, p=0.03) for α=0.01. Regarding findings in this study, it is reasonable for the management to consider work station which one worker per machine instead of two workers per one machine.

Abstract

PT. X is a garment industry company that produces clothing products. PT. X has not implemented a maintenance or machine maintenance system. Currently, the company only performs machine maintenance when they are damaged. This causes losses for the company because it can disrupt the smooth running of the production process, such as sudden engine damage, which can cause high machine downtime. Therefore, maintenance of machines is needed in the form of a schedule for replacing and checking cutting machine components with a Preventive maintenance approach to support the production process at the company. In addition to generating replacement schedules and inspecting engine components, Implementing the proposed Preventive maintenance takes the scheduling for maintenance and cleaning of cutting machines. After the replacement schedule and inspection of engine components are generated, it will affect the inventory of engine components. The inventory system proposed is the inventory system model P. Model P is chosen because it is in accordance with the condition of the company and meets the requirements of the model P inventory system. The P inventory system produces a cost of Rp. 22,508,709.

Abstract

Pengembangan peternakan ayam petelur di Desa Cisalak, Sumedang merupakan salah satu inisiatif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat. Artikel ini membahas hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kelayakan usaha dan strategi pengembangan peternakan ayam petelur. Metode pendampingan dilakukan melalui analisis kebutuhan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan untuk melibatkan tim, warga desa dan peternak secara aktif dalam perumusan solusi dengan metode SWOT. Contoh perhitungan kelayakan usaha juga diberikan. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang praktik terbaik dalam peternakan ayam petelur. Keberhasilan pendampingan dapat dilihat dari hasil evaluasi umpan balik kegiatan yang baik dan sangat baik. Selain itu, indikator keberhasilan dilihat dari respon positif dan antusiasme seluruh peserta. Artikel ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi pihak-pihak terkait, baik pemerintah daerah, warga desa, dan peternak lainnya dalam upaya pengembangan usaha peternakan ayam petelur di berbagai desa.  Abstract. The development of layer farms in Cisalak Village, Sumedang is one of the initiatives to improve the welfare of the local community. This article discusses the results of community service activities that aim to provide assistance on business feasibility and development strategies for layer farming. The mentoring method is carried out through needs analysis, implementation and evaluation. A participatory approach was used to actively involve the team, villagers and farmers in the formulation of solutions using the SWOT method. Examples of business feasibility calculations were also given. This improved their understanding of best practices in layer farming. The success of the mentoring can be seen from the results of the evaluation of good and excellent activity feedback. In addition, the success indicator is seen from the positive response and enthusiasm of all participants. This article can be a reference for related parties, both local governments, villagers, and other farmers in efforts to develop layer farming businesses in various villages.
