Abstract

Cauliflower as a vegetable commodity is still high enough to be developed. One of the locations that have the opportunity for the development of cauliflower is Rangdumulya Village, Pedes District, Karawang Regency. So far, the village only knows rice plants as agricultural commodities; therefore, the importance of public knowledge related to other crop commodities is to be developed. The aim is to provide counselling and expertise and train KWT  in growing cauliflower to establish it in the environment around the house. This community service is carried out with several stages of activities, consisting of providing pre-test and post-tests regarding the cultivation of cauliflower in the yard of the house using polybags, counselling using lecture and discussion methods, as well as distribution of pamphlets, training and practice of planting cauliflower in polybags using demonstration methods, monitoring and evaluation of activities. This activity was attended by participants, namely mothers of the peasant women's group (KWT), as many as 21 people located in the Rangdumulya Village Hall. The results of this activity are that participants are willing and able to cultivate their cauliflower in their respective yards for household food needs. ---  Kubis bunga sebagai salah satu komoditas sayuran masih cukup tinggi untuk dikembangkan. Salah satu lokasi yang berpeluang untuk pengembangan kubis bunga adalah Desa Rangdumulya Kecamatan Pedes Kabupaten Karawang. Selama ini di desa tersebut hanya mengenal tanaman padi saja sebagai komoditas pertanian, oleh karena itu pentingnya pengetahuan masyarakat terkait komoditas tanaman lain untuk dikembangkan. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan, pengetahuan dan melatih ibu-ibu kelompok wanita tani (KWT) dalam bercocok tanam kubis bunga sehingga dapat dikembangkan di lingkungan sekitar rumah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahapan kegiatan, yaitu: memberikan pre test dan post test mengenai budidaya kubis bunga di pekarangan rumah menggunakan polybag, penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi serta pembagian pamflet, pelatihan dan praktek tanam kubis bunga di polybag dengan metode demonstrasi, monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh ibu-ibu kelompok wanita tani (KWT) sebanyak 21 orang berlokasi di Aula Desa Rangdumulya. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta mau dan mampu membudidayakan kubis bunga sendiri di pekarangan rumah masing-masing untuk keperluan pangan rumah tangga.

Abstract

One of the factors that influences plants physiological processes is the absorption of nutrients obtained from both organic and inorganic fertilizers. Some organic fertilizers that can be given are fish waste water and sheep urine fertilizer. The aim of this research is to obtain information regarding the effect of fish waste water and sheep biourine on the physiological characteristics of rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) such as leaf chlorophyll content, Net Assimilation Rate (NAR) and Crop Growth Rate (CGR). This research was conducted on Agricultural Extension Field, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency, from January to April 2022. This experiment used an experimental method with a split plot design (Split Plot Design) with 10 treatment combinations which were repeated 3 times. The main plots are fish waste water (A): A1 (fish waste water), and A2 (ordinary irrigation water). As subplots for Sheep Biourine (P): P0 (Control), P1 (Factory Biourine 100 ml/l), P2 (Sheep Biourine 100 ml/l), P3 (Sheep Biourine 150 ml/l) and P4 (Sheep Biourine 200 ml /l). The research results showed that there was no interaction between biourine fertilizer treatment and fish waste water on the physiology characteristics of the rice plants (Oryza sativa L.).
