Abstract

This study aims to analyze the students' needs for teaching materials in the basic concepts of social studies at STKIP Muhammadiyah Blora. Social studies basic concept courses are subjects that must be implemented by first semester students of the PGSD STKIP Muhammadiyah Blora Study Program. Currently the teaching materials used are simple teaching materials made by lecturers without paying attention to student needs. This study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis, namely analyzing the results of observations, interviews and user questionnaires about the basic concepts of social studies teaching material needs. The research was conducted at the PGSD STKIP Muhammadiyah Blora Study Program. The subjects of this study were the first semester students with a total of 47 students, Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Basic Concept of Social Sciences courses. The results of data collection indicate that the teaching materials that need to be developed in the Basic Concepts of Social Studies course for PGSD students are textbooks in the form of modules. The development of teaching materials is based on the needs of students, namely on aspects of content / material, aspects of the feasibility of presenting teaching materials, and aspects of language feasibility.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the realization of the Teacher and Education Personnel Room (GTK) as a Game Changer in teacher skill development, identify challenges and obstacles and identify strategies. This study uses a qualitative research type with a case study approach. Data collection uses observation techniques in the teacher's room, interviews with all teachers and principals, documentation in the form of documents (learning books, assessments, and pictures), and questionnaires intended for all teachers. The results of the study show that the realization of the Teacher and Education Personnel Room (GTK) at SD Negeri 1 Gandu in the teacher learning process adopts various teaching materials, inspirational videos to improve teacher skills and teacher competence. The existence of the Teacher and Education Staff Room is very helpful for educators. Thus, the realization of a strategic Teacher and Education Personnel Space and effective realization has great potential to improve teacher skill development. This is not just an additional facility, but an important platform in creating competent, innovative, and motivated teachers, which will ultimately improve the overall quality of education. In addition, strategies to maximize the use of the Teacher and Education Personnel (GTK) space at SD Negeri 1 Gandu such as infrastructure support with resources, utilizing community features, and increasing digital initiatives.

Abstract

This study was inspired by the low interest and mathematics achievement of fifth-grade students at SDN Sumurboto on the topics of LCM and GCD. The research aimed to improve students’ learning interest and achievement through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by Dakota Board media. This research used Classroom Action Research based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 15 students, and data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, tests, and documentation. The findings showed that students’ learning interest and mathematics achievement improved in each cycle. The average interest score increased from 23.5 in the pre-cycle to 32.33 in Cycle II, while the average learning outcome score improved from 67.2 to 82.67. Classical mastery also increased from 46.67% to 93.33%. These results show that the TGT model assisted by Dakota Board media effectively improved students’ interest and mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This class action research aims for student activity in Natural and Social Science subjects by using a Jigsaw learning model with the help of puzzle media. This class action research was carried out at SDN 2 Sonokulon. The subjects of this study are class V students totalling 15 students. The class action research model used in this study is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. Data on the results of student activity in learning Natural and Social Education in cycle I meeting 1 reached 40%, cycle I meeting 2 reached 46.7% completion and in cycle II has met the achievement criteria set with student activity cycle II meeting 1 reached 73.3%, cycle II meeting 2 reached 86.7% . The conclusion from this study is that the application of the Media Puzzle-assisted Jigsaw model in the learning of Natural and Social Sciences can increase the activity of students in class V of SDN 2 Sonokulon so that teachers can use the puzzle-assisted Jigsaw learning model as one of the alternatives to improve students in learning Natural and Social Sciences.

Abstract

This class action research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Science subjects by using WordWall. This class action research was carried out at SDN 2 Sonokulon. The subjects of this study are class V students totalling 16 students. The class action research model used in this study is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. Data on student learning outcomes in the learning of Natural and Social Education Sciences in cycle I reached 37.5% and in cycle II has met the achievement criteria set with student learning outcomes in cycle II reaching 87.5% with an average of 62.5%. The result of the teacher's action monitoring instrument in cycle I was 82.15% while in cycle Il reached 98.21% with an average of 90.18%. The result of student activity instrument in cycle I is 50% while in cycle I it reaches 93.75% with an average of 71.88%. The conclusion from this study is that the implementation of WordWall media in the learning of Natural and Social Sciences can improve the learning outcomes of students in class V of SDN 2 Sonokulon, so that teachers can use WordWall learning media as one of the alternatives to improve student learning outcomes in learning Natural and Social Sciences.

Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes on column multiplication among fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Todanan were initially low. Students struggled to memorize basic multiplication facts, lacked confidence in solving problems, and showed low participation during learning activities. This study aimed to improve students’ mathematics achievement through the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model supported by Snakes and Ladders media. The research applied a Classroom Action Research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, carried out in two cycles. The participants were 23 fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Todanan. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Quantitative data were analyzed using mean scores, and mastery learning percentages, while qualitative data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicated a consistent improvement in learning outcomes across cycles. The mean score increased from 58.12 in the pre-cycle to 69 in Cycle I and 78.5 in Cycle II. The mastery learning percentage rose from 47.83% to 82.61%. It was concluded that the TGT model supported by Snakes and Ladders media effectively improved students’ mathematics learning outcomes.
