Abstract

Traditional games are an exciting and fun teaching medium essential for children's physical growth. Short-distance running, where speed is critical, is an integral component of these games. This research aims to determine the effect of traditional games on the 50-meter short-distance running ability of class IV students at SDN Kaliwungu I Jombang. This research tests the hypothesis that conventional games significantly influence students' short-distance running abilities. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The research population was all fourth-grade students at SDN Kaliwungu I Jombang, with the sample selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using pretest and posttest to measure students' running speed before and after treatment. Data analysis involves calculating standard deviation and significance tests (Sig. 2-tailed). Data analysis shows a significant increase in students' short-distance running abilities after being given traditional game treatment. The pretest results show a standard deviation of 6569; the lowest value is 3.3, and the highest is 6.3. Meanwhile, the posttest showed an increase with a standard deviation of 83338; the lowest value was 3.06, and the highest value was 7.45. The significant test shows the Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.004 < 0.05 , so hypothesis H1 is accepted. Traditional games have a significant influence on students' short-distance running abilities. It is recommended that teachers use fun teaching media, such as traditional games, in learning and apply them to other subjects to increase learning effectiveness. This research is limited to a sample of fourth-grade students in one school. Future research needs to involve larger samples and a variety of locations for more general results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of small games on motivation in participating in PJOK learning. This research method uses pseudo-experiments. The sample was taken from 34 learners. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. Instruments used to measure student motivation using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the T-test (paired test)h, calculated with the help of SPSS 27. Based on the data that has been calculated, the result of the calculated t-value is 4.5467. In contrast, the probability value (sig) = 0.00 can be seen that the probability (sig) of 0.00 < 0.05, then H0 is processed, and H1 is accepted. This means that small games significantly influence motivation in participating in PJOK learning. Recommendations for future research researchers include developing game models that can increase motivation and other variables in PJOK learning so that learning objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

In the era of technological development, the condition of the student's body is an important concern in human life, one of which is the movement activity carried out every day and must also have a food consumption pattern, because it is a strong foundation for maintaining health in each individual. So that the material in this education is designed to be interesting and easy to understand in an effort to be able to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the nutritional status of students, this service method uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach which aims as learning in the process of overcoming problems and also as a practical need and also the production of science, physical education study programme students at PGRI University Jombang who take school health education courses as participants in activities. The results of this service show that the results give positive things from the results of using two indicators including knowledge of nutritional status and understanding of nutritional status measurements explain in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of games to warm up on students' interest in learning in PJOK, the method with type of experimental research with descriptive quantitative (One Group Pretest Posttest Design). Class IV as a population and sample determination with purposive sampling based on the main criteria in the category class IV and including MI Al Hikmah students, instruments with a questionnaire learning interest with 35 questions, Data analysis using descriptive statistics and t-test (different test). The initial data results see the results of the pre test and post test in the medium category then see the difference test get the results significance with the Paired Samples Test sig value 0.00 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the game approach to warm up on interest in learning PJOK.
