Abstract

Abstract

Background: The Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) concept encourages life choices and adopting behaviors that prioritize both environmental sustainability and personal well-being. Lifestyle shifts and food consumption patterns are significant factors that often hinder the pursuit of a healthy and sustainable way of living. The purpose of this research is to explore the concept of LOHAS and its role in addressing the fundamental health needs of agricultural communities.Method: This study employs a descriptive-analytic method with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 138 fish cage farmers was selected. Primary data were collected through interviews using questionnaires and direct observations, focusing on aspects such as physical fitness, mental and emotional health, spiritual well-being, environmental awareness, and social responsibility. The data were analyzed descriptively.Result: The majority of fish cage farmers are males over the age of 50 years old. Aging farmers face physical and health challenges that can impact their productivity and long-term sustainability. Optimal physical health in agricultural communities can be supported through a balanced diet and regular exercise. Moreover, mental and emotional well-being can be enhanced through stress-relief activities, meditation, and fostering positive relationships. Adopting a holistic health approach enables communities to address physical, mental, emotional, and environmental aspects in alignment with the LOHAS framework.

Abstract

Abstract

Background : Agricultural workers are often overlooked, facing health risks such as pesticide exposure, poor dietary choices, and limited physical activity, which increase their vulnerability to chronic diseases. Psychosocial factors, including stress from uncertain crop yields and adverse weather, also contribute to mental health issues like anxiety and depression. This complex health landscape necessitates effective healthcare approaches that integrate traditional and contemporary systems to address both physical and mental health challenges. Aim: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Agronursing Model, which combines agronomy and nursing principles, in improving healthy lifestyle adherence among agricultural workers, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being. Method: An experimental quantitative method was employed, utilizing a descriptive analysis and survey approach to assess a Healthy Lifestyle Education intervention among 250 farmers in the Sukodono Health Center Working area, Lumajang Regency. Respondents were recruited through probability sampling, with data collected via questionnaires and observation sheets focusing on healthy lifestyle compliance. Results: The intervention resulted in notable improvements in activity patterns, dietary habits, and rest quality, demonstrating its positive impact. Enhancements included increased physical activity, better dietary adherence, reduced fatigue, and decreased financial anxiety and work-related stress.

Abstract

Introduction:Indonesia sits on an active continental plate, surrounded by a series of very active volcanoes called the ring of fire. These conditions make Indonesia very vulnerable to disasters. Mount Semeru was observed to have experienced at least 57 eruptions or eruptions. The resilience possessed by adolescents can affect when the post-eruption disaster strikes. Methods:The strategy to determine the selection of studies that have been found, the author uses a protocol and evaluation uses the PRISMA Checklist and is adjusted to the purpose of this literature review. Searching for literature sources in this literature review uses several databases including PubMed and Google ScholarResults:Resilience is very important for adolescents in post-mountain eruption disaster situations, adolescents who have resilience can survive and never give up in difficult circumstances, adapt to these conditions, and can rise. Most of the adolescents in post-disaster areas have moderate levels of resilience as much as 64% and as high as 63%. This can occur due to several factors, namely individuals, families, and communities. In addition, gender can also affect a person's resilience. Men are more resilient than women. Conclusion:The existence of sources of support from internal and external as well as knowledge about adolescent disasters can optimize youth resilience after the Semeru eruption disaster.

Abstract

The quality of nursing documentation is strongly influenced by the nurse's compliance with the documentation rules set by the profession and the government. The implementation of nursing care documentation is used as a measuring tool to realize and observe the quality of nursing care services carried out in hospitals. This study aims to identify nurses' perceptions in the application of standard nursing language 3S (SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI) to nursing documentation. This research design was a descriptive study. The subjects of this study were standard nursing language in nursing care documentation. Data analysis in this study was carried out in data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The data were validated by triangulation and triangulation methods. The results showed that 52% of nurses got their source of information from manuals and only 42.6% of nurses understood the standard application of the 3S nursing language. The cause of this problem is the recording of actions that are not complete and the assessment data is not consistent with the nursing diagnosis. In addition, the recording of nursing actions is too much so it takes up a lot of time for nurses. So, it is necessary to make a standard of nursing language according to 3S which is effective and efficient. Indonesian nursing standard documentation training needs to be carried out to equalize perceptions and have a good impact on nurses' knowledge and service quality.
