Abstract

Kearifan lokal masyarakat Bali memiliki potensi yang sangat besar dalam pembangunan hukum hindu di Indonesia, baik dalam pembangunan substansi hukum, struktur hukum, maupun budaya hukum. Kearifan lokal masyarakat Bali sebagai suatu realitas sosial masih dihayati dan diimplementasikan dalam kehidupannya, senyatanya sangat fungsional dalam kehidupan masyarakat Oleh karenanya perlu direvitalisasi dalam pembangunan hukum hindu.Revitalisasi potensi kearifan lokal masarakat Bali dalam pembangunan hukum hindu, dilakukan dengan jalan mendayagunakan kinerja prajuru organisasi Desa Adat seperti kinerja Bendesa, kelihan, pecalang dengan melakaukaan kerjasama dan koordinasi dengan lembaga pemerintah terutama penegak hukum negara dalam melaksanakan tugas dengan cara-cara dengan arif dan bijaksana, jauh dari sikap-sikap arogansi dan kekerasan, sehingga sikap para penegak hukum akan menjadi panutan bagi masyarakat. Sehingga citra Bali sebagai pulau yang aman, tertib, damai, dengan kehidupan penduduknya yang serba harmonis dapat dipertahankan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the quality of learning in the Postgraduate Religious and Cultural Sciences Study Program at the Mpu Kuturan Singaraja State Hindu Religion College. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. This research was carried out in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection in this research was carried out by distributing questionnaires online using a Google form to all students of the Religious and Cultural Sciences Study Program Postgraduate STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja, interviews and focus group discussions. The results of the research show that 75% of students' perceptions of the quality of learning in the Master of Religion and Culture Study Program Postgraduate STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja were satisfied. Student satisfaction can be seen from three aspects, including: the quality of the teaching and learning process, administrative governance and availability of infrastructure.

Abstract

Bunut Bolong as a tourist attraction in Manggissari Village, Jemrana Regency has not been arranged optimally, so the role of the local community, traditional villages and local government is needed to organize Bunut Bolong as a better tourist attraction. The aim of this research is to determine the tourist attraction of Bunut Bolong in Manggissari Village, Jemrana Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interview and documentation study data collection methods. The results of this research show that the forms of Bunut Bolong tourist attractions include: first, forms of cultural tourism such as cultural relics of the past in the form of manger stone sarcophagi which are believed to have existed from the megalithic era which is a tourist attraction, Pura Bhujangga Sakti Luwih. Second, the form of spiritual tourism, namely Bunut Bolong, has a magical aura that is believed by the surrounding community. Third, a form of ecotourism, namely Bunut Bolong, has beautiful views with expanses of clove and coffee gardens owned by the surrounding community.

Abstract

Hindus really need Religious Courts, because so far the District Courts have not been able to handle legal issues for Hindus, especially issues related to family law such as divorce, marriage and inheritance law. So far the formation of religious courts for Hindus has not been recognized because it does not have a clear basis. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the basis for the formation of religious courts for Hindus, both the legal, philosophical and sociological basis of the formation of Hindu Religious Courts in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basis for the establishment of Hindu Religious Courts in Indonesia. The approach used is legal-sociological. This study found the basis for Religious Courts, namely philosophical, legal and sociological foundations. By finding the basis for the formation of Religious Courts for Hindus, it is hoped that Religious Courts for Hindus can be realized

Abstract

This study examines the internal conflict among Hindu transmigrants in Waode Angkalo Village, North Buton, regarding the interpretation of Pura Eka Kahyangan as a communal worship center. While some groups support the single-temple concept in line with PHDI policy, others advocate for the Tri Kahyangan system as an authentic representation of Balinese Hindu tradition. The research aims to analyze the dynamics of temple interpretation conflicts and explore emic-based resolutions emerging from community practices. A qualitative case study was employed, involving in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, with interactive data analysis through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that since 2007 the Hindu community has split into two factions supporters of Eka Kahyangan and Tri Kahyangan which by 2025 have grown to 32 and 97 households respectively. The conflict is driven by the persistence of Balinese traditions (sima), limited contextual understanding, functional dissatisfaction with the single temple, and political interests of local elites. Initially latent, the conflict evolved into a manifest struggle, turning the temple into a contested arena of identity, authority, and cultural legitimacy. Nevertheless, through the internalization of emic values such as ngayah, mutual cooperation, and deliberation, the temple continues to function as a multivocal symbol mediating tensions, sustaining social cohesion, and strengthening community resilience. This study highlights the significance of an emic approach in understanding intra-religious conflicts within transmigrant Hindu communities.

Abstract

The cultivation of character values based on Hindu teachings has a high urgency in addressing the phenomenon of moral crisis among the younger generation, including students. This study aims to analyze the role of Hindu religion teachers in instilling the values of satya (honesty) and ahimsa (non-violence) in elementary school students at Cluster VI, Buleleng District. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that: (1) satya and ahimsa are understood as ethical foundations within the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings, which are relevant in shaping students’ noble character and empathy; (2) the role of Hindu religion teachers includes being role models and motivators, facilitators and mentors, as well as innovators who integrate these values into various school activities; (3) the implications observed are the improvement of honesty, discipline, and social awareness, along with the decrease of deviant behaviors such as bullying and disorderliness among students. This study affirms the importance of Hindu religion teachers as facilitators of values and agents of character formation. The success of instilling satya and ahimsa requires systemic, collaborative, and contextual support among schools, families, and communities.

Abstract

Adanya pemahaman ajaran atau konsep Tri Hita Karana yang tidak sejalan atau berbanding lurus dengan harapan atau tujuan, sehingga kemudian muncul berbagai persoalan dalam kehidupan sosial keagamaan dan adat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kearifan lokal Tri Hita Karana sebagai landasan kehidupan bermasyarakat di Banjar Suka Duka Sindhu Mertha. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif yaitu data reduction, interpretatif, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan wujud kearifan lokal Kendari yang relevan dengan ajaran Tri Hita Karana yaitu hubungan kepada O ombu (Tuhan) dan Dewa (sangia, upacara-upacara keagamaan, prinsip Inae Kosara Ie Pinesara Inae Lia Sara Ie Pinekasara, Teporombua (Musyawarah), Sama Turu dan Metealo-alo, Filsafat Mepokoaso, Tarian Mondotambe dan Upacara Mosehe. Kendala penerapan Tri Hita Karana di Banjar Suka Duka Sindhu Mertha Kota Kendari dikelompokkan menjadi dua kendala yaitu kendala internal meliputi kendala personal/individu warga banjar, adanya pernikahan beda agama, belum tersosialisasinya secara masif awig-awig banjar, program dan kegiatan banjar yang dirasa belum berdampak, banyak tokoh yang telah tiada/berpulang dan kondisi warga banjar yang beragam. Kendala eksternal meliputi beban banjar yang besar atas tanggung jawab Pura Penataran Agung Jagadhita Kendari. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan budaya suku tolaki yang diwarisi secara terus menerus yang dianggap relevan dengan ajaran Tri Hita Karana yang merupakan keseluruhan sistem ide, gagasan, aktifitas atau perilaku dan hasil karya manusia dalam suatu kelompok masyarakat asli.
