Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work environment, work motivation, and work discipline on the performance of civil servants (ASN) at RSUD Dr. R.M. Djoelham Binjai, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The study focuses on understanding how these factors affect employee performance, while also considering job satisfaction as a crucial mediator. The research utilizes a quantitative approach, with data collected through surveys administered to 57 ASN employees from the nursing department at RSUD Dr. R.M. Djoelham Binjai. Data analysis was performed using statistical methods such as validity and reliability tests, assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), and hypothesis testing, including the Sobel test for mediation analysis. The findings of this study reveal that both work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, with job satisfaction playing a key role in mediating these effects. Furthermore, work motivation, while having a significant positive influence on job satisfaction, did not have the same direct impact on performance. The study highlights the importance of creating a supportive work environment and fostering strong work discipline to enhance the overall performance of ASN employees. These results provide practical implications for RSUD Dr. R.M. Djoelham Binjai's management in improving the work environment, employee motivation, and discipline, which in turn would contribute to better job satisfaction and enhanced organizational performance.

Abstract

performance at PT Girvi Mas. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 110 respondents and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, as well as t-tests and F-tests. The results indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. In contrast, workload and stress negatively affect performance in a significant way. Together, these three variables explain 37.6% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining portion is influenced by factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings align with previous research which suggests that a comfortable work environment enhances performance, whereas excessive workload and high stress levels tend to reduce it. Therefore, it is recommended that PT Girvi Mas foster a supportive workplace atmosphere, balance workloads appropriately, and implement stress management strategies to improve employee performance

However, lecturers' obstacles in supporting educational processes include the obstacles of leak of features and items/ service forums in the academic portal /SIAD online. This research aims to find the influence of selecting the system, motivation, and utilization of academic information system lecturers (SIAD) on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, University of Prima Indonesia. The study will test the variables both partially and simultaneously. Samples were taken from lecturers recorded in the management study program of 60 people. The test result obtained a calculated value of F (17,866) > F table (2.76) and a probability of significance of 0.000 < 0.05, it was concluded that simultaneously H0 was rejected, which means the selection, motivation, and utilization of SIAD had a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Prima Indonesia Medan. The result of the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained an adjusted R Square value of 0.462.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of work ethic, organizational commitment, and self-actualization on employee performance. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collection conducted through questionnaires distributed to company employees. The study sample comprises 40 employees, while validity and reliability tests were conducted with 30 respondents. The validity and reliability tests, along with the plot test involving 30 respondents, met the criteria, with values exceeding 0.05 and Cronbach's alpha above 0.60. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results of the simultaneous determination coefficient test (F-test) revealed an F-value of 11.178, which is higher than the F-table value of 2.87, with a significance value (Sig) of 0.000, indicating a positive and significant influence of work ethic, organizational commitment, and self-actualization on employee performance. Partially (t-test), work ethic and organizational commitment were found to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while self-actualization did not show a significant impact. Additionally, the determination coefficient test results indicated that the influence of work ethic, organizational commitment, and self-actualization on employee performance accounts for only 43.9%, with the remaining 56.1% influenced by other variables.
