Abstract

This research is useful for: a. State School 1 Karawang in knowing how much influence English Education in shaping the morals of students in SMK Negeri 1 Karawang. b. The results of this study can be used as information for educators in applying and knowing what factors are the biggest influence on the moral behavior of students in SMK Negeri 1 Karawang. c. As an evaluation material specifically for schools that carry out the learning process by teachers, and schools can monitor the morals of their students so that they are of good character. Abstract

The effect of the ability in mastering dialogue, to know and explain the effect of the ability in mastering dialogue on English learning achievement, to know and explain the effect of ability on English learning achievement and to know and explain the effect of the ability in mastering dialogue on learning achievement English through motivation. The research method used is survey method. Population in this research is all students of class X of first semester of SMK Negeri 1 Rawamerta, Karawang. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling, the sample is taken randomly according to the class that has been formed. So, the sample in this study as many as 18 people from the total population of 192 people. The research instrument consists of three types of tests, namely the questionnaire of the ability in mastering dialogue , English achievement test with the subject of the circle. Analysis of statistical data to test the hypothesis in this study using Path Analysis (Path Analysis). Statistic test is used t test. The results showed: (1) direct effect of the ability in mastering dialogue (2) direct effect of the ability in mastering dialogue on English learning achievement, (3) direct effect of the ability in mastering dialogue to English learning achievement and (4) indirect effect of lateral thinking ability toward English learning achievement through creative thinking ability. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to know if there are effects of teaching technique and vocabulary mastery towards student’s writing skill at State Vocational High Schools in Karawang West Java. The population of this research is all the state vocational high school students in Karawang. Meanwhile, the sample of this research is 60 students from two schools taken randomly. This research is experimental research with two factors; teaching technique using guessing song and conventional technique and vocabulary mastery. The data about vocabulary mastery and writing skill are taken through tests. It has tested the validity and reliability test. The data analysis, the researcher used SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) Program version 17,00. The result of data 1) There is a significant effect of teaching technique towards student’s writing skill. It is proved by Fo = 46.796 and sig = 0.000

Abstract

This study aims to determine work competence, work discipline, and quality of employee services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Karawang Regency, and to determine the effect of competence and work discipline on the quality of employee services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Karawang Regency. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The population of this study was 76 people and the samples in this study were 76 respondents. The data produced is through a questionnaire as many as 32 statements from all variables. From the research results, the work competency varies influence direct to the quality of employee services, which is 7.9%, while the work discipline variables have a direct influence on the service quality employee by 24.5%. Competency and work discipline simultaneously influence toward direct employee service quality of 21.4%, and indirect 22.9%. Keywords: work competence, work discipline, service quality of employees Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi kerja, disiplin kerja, dan kualitas pelayanan pegawai di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Disdukcapil) Kabupaten Karawang, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kualitas pelayanan pegawai di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Disdukcapil) Kabupaten Karawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 76 orang dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 76 orang responden. Data yang dihasilkan adalah mealui kuesioner sebanyak 32 pernyataan dari keseluruhan variabel. Dari hasil penelitian varibel kompetensi kerja berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kualitas pelayanan pegawai yaitu sebesar 7,9%, sedangkan variabel disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh langsung terhadap kualitas pelayanan pegawai sebesar 24,5%. Kompetensi dan disiplin kerja secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan pegawai secara langsung sebesar 21,4%, dan secara tidak langsung 22,9%. Kata kunci: kompetensi kerja, disiplin kerja, kualitas pelayanan pegawai
