Abstract

The era of information technology that has developed dynamically in recent years has brought significant changes in the way to communicate and mobilize the masses. Public spaces that were once confined to a certain space and time, are now eliminated by the latest technology, to give birth to unlimited public space and can be accessed by anyone, anywhere and anytime. Public space is called virtual public space. The sophistication and effectiveness of this virtual public space is increasingly apparent when a new social movement is able to use it. One of the new social movements was called the National Movement for Guards Fatwa (GNPF) of the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) which was born around the end of 2016. This paper tried to examine the MUI GNPF as a new social movement that managed to make maximum use of virtual public space. Felt until now, a year later. In general, this paper is divided into two. The first part discusses the actions of the MUI's GNPF and a series of Islamic Defending Action. The second part discusses virtual public space which is used as the main means for the GNPF MUI in its movement to mobilize the masses.

Abstract

Lack of fublic knowledge about fake signing in debt agreements, especially the rights in one's name, so that there is a conflict between fake signing and in the name. When there is a misunderstanding in the community about fake signing in debt, it tends to fight for their rights for those who do not know about the incident, This Palewai village is one of the areas in Tanggetada sub-district, Kolaka regency which is quite good and its people work as fishermen and UMKM so that there tends to be misuse of signatures without the knowledge of the owner of the name listed. The community's lack of understanding of the legal efforts that can be taken when a fake signature occurs causes the loss of their rights.  This outreach program also has a positive impact on local residents with the increasing development of electronic-based tools. Thus, fake signings can be identified and encourage the Palewai village community to be more courageous and not afraid of people who use their rights. Abstract

This study analyzes the habituation practices of interreligious harmony in the disruptive era by examining Tanon Village, a multi-faith rural community in Kediri Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The village represents a unique case of long-standing plural coexistence that has successfully transitioned into the digital age. Employing a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, the research integrates Pierre Bourdieu’s theoretical framework. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation of both offline and online interactions, including community WhatsApp groups and YouTube-based content. The findings reveal three interrelated dimensions that sustain harmony the reproduction of habitus through everyday interfaith practices such as slametan, gotong royong, and mutual participation in religious festivities; the adaptation of habitus within the digital field, where technology facilitates new forms of dialogue, coordination, and symbolic representation; and the integration of social and cultural capital through collaboration among religious leaders, youth, and village officials, reinforcing trust, empathy, and inclusivity. Together, these mechanisms demonstrate that interreligious harmony in Tanon is organic, adaptive, and transgenerational—rooted in local traditions yet responsive to technological change. The findings affirm that digital technology, when grounded in moral and cultural capital, can strengthen rather than threaten interfaith relations. The originality of this research lies in its integration of Bourdieu’s theoretical framework with digital ethnography, producing a new perspective for understanding how traditional values of tolerance are rearticulated and sustained within an ever-evolving digital ecosystem.
