Abstract

Tulisan ini akan mengelaborasi tiga hal: pertama, latar belakang munculnya pemikiran perlunya pengintegrasian ilmu dan agama; kedua, ambiguitas yang dialami oleh praktisi pendidikan dalam mempraktekkan integrasi ilmu dan agama; ketiga, jalur baru yang mungkin bisa dilalui sebagai arah kebijakan para praktisi pendidikan. Upaya spiritualisasi ilmu tidak bisa hanya lewat tulisan di atas kertas atau media pidato, ceramah, sarasehan, seminar dan sejenisnya. Ia membutuhkan tindakan nyata dan konkrit. Aktifitas perpustakaan dan masjid harus bersinergi mendukung pembentukan cendekiawan Muslim yang berkarakter. Tindakan nyata itu membutuhkan totalitas penuh dari semua stakeholder di sebuah institusi pendidikan.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama memiliki peran strategis untuk mempertahankan dan mengawal nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dalam konteks kebhinnekaan dan keragaman budaya, etnis, bahasa, dan agama. Tulisan ini menawarkan sebuah alternatif lain dalam proses pembelajaran agama di sekolah, yakni pendidikan religiusitas antar-iman, yang dihajatkan untuk mengkonstruk peserta didik yang bersedia berbagi, bersama, dan menerima keberdaan yang lain‘. Konsep tersebut, pertama, tema-tema yang dibahas mencerminkan keharmonisan dan kerukunan untuk bersedia berbagi tempat bersama yang lain‘; kedua, guru pengajar tidak terbatas pada satu agama tertentu; ketiga, seluruh murid yang berasal dari agama dan kepercayaan apapun yang berada di sekolah tersebut dirangkul dan dikumpulkan dalam satu tempat dan waktu yang sama; kelima, peserta didik yang berasal dari agama yang berbeda itu diberikan kesempatan dan porsi yang sama untuk membagi pengalaman dan pemahaman keagamaannya terkait dengan tema yang sedang dibahas, tidak melulu ceramah, dan keenam, waktu pelaksanaan dapat mengambil satu waktu tertentu dalam satu semester, cukup sekali atau dua kali dalam satu semester.

Abstract

Informasi-informasi penting terkait dengan tiga hal: 1. Kajian pemikiran dan teori pendidikan Islam; 2. Kajian sosio-historis pendidikan Islam; 3. Kajian metodologis pendidikan Islam. Pembahasannya tidak dihajatkan untuk fokus pada salah satu ketegori saja, namun membahas berbagai persoalan penting yang berkembang di dalam ketiga kategori tersebut. Demi untuk memenuhi hajat tersebut, maka terbagi menjadi tujuh bagian: 1) Pengembangan pemikiran filosofis pendidikan Islam; 2) Pengembangan pemikiran pendidikan Islam di Indonesia; 3) Orientasi pengembangan Pendidikan Islam; 4) Pengembangan Madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam; 5) Pengembangan guru dalam pendidikan Islam; 6) Pengembangan perguruan tinggi agama Islam; dan 7) Pengembangan model pendekatan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama pada umumnya, ataupun Pendidikan Religiositas mempunyai tujuan yang sama, yaitu meningkatkan iman dan takwa bagi siswa yang mempelajarinya. Namun ada satu perbedaan prinsip yang membedakan kedua pendidikan itu. Kalau Pendidikan Agama hanya berkutat pada dogma dan nilai-nilai kebenaran agama itu sendiri. Sementara Pendidikan Religiositas bicara lebih luas, ingin merangkum kesamaan nilai-nilai universal setiap agama. Pendidikan Religiositas mempergunakan pendekatan pendidikan refleksi (paradigma pedagogi reflektif). Refleksi meliputi tiga unsur utama sebagai satu kesatuan di dalam proses pembelajarannya, yaitu: pengalaman, refleksi dan aksi. Melalui Pendidikan Religiositas ini siswa diharapkan mengalami perubahan sikap yang mendasar atas hidupnya, dimana siswa mampu menghormati martabat hidup manusia, memperjuangkan kebaikan bersama, menyebarluaskan sikap dan semangat solidaritas dengan sesama, khususnya yang kecil, lemah, miskin dan tersingkirkan. Inilah transformasi kehidupan yang diharapkan tumbuh dan berkembang dalam diri siswa, baik melalui agama dan kepercayaan masing-masing maupun dalam proses komunikasi iman dengan agama dan kepercayaan lain.

Abstract

The diversity of ethnicities, cultures, and religions in Indonesian society is an undeniable fact. This diversity, of course, results in differences. These differences, if not properly managed, can lead to conflict. When the essence of tolerance like respecting other people’s differences as we embrace our own is upheld, this source of conflict and division in society can be prevented. The aim of this study is to identify and explain the tolerance values of the Dayak people, the social relations in their society, and the factors that prevent the preservation of religious tolerance based on the experience of the Dayak people of Lubuk Kakap Village. This research employed a qualitative research design with a phenomenological research method. Interviews and documentation were data collection procedures while data reduction, data display, and data verification are used as data analysis activities. The credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and confirmability of the data in this research were used as data validity testing. Based on the findings of the study, the tolerance values documented the life of the Dayak community of Lubuk Kakap Village are respect, appreciation of religion, belief and culture in social relations. The Dayak people interact in meetings and communal work which is called gotong royong. The Dayak people believe that the factors that prevent religious tolerance include small or big conflicts and individual disputes.

Abstract

This paper discusses the discourse about the complexity of ethnic and religious identity monism in Mataram Lombok West Nusa Tenggara; Sasak ethnic is Islam, while Balinese ethnic is Hindu. The question is then does religious conversion also include ethnic conversion? Methodologically, this paper is library research. Several notes related to this discourse are as follows: (1) Increasing conflict escalation occurs during the Reformation era. Identity politics emerge and strengthen. In several conflicts at Mataram, the ethnic and religious identity is thickening. (2) There is a complexity between democracy and diversity. Democracy demands unity, while multiculturalism emphasizes particularity. Balancing them is easy in theory but difficult in practice. (3) It must be distinguished between politics and politicization. In the case of Indonesia, ethnic and religious issues are often politicized by some people to achieve their own group goals. (4) Relying on ethnicity is a natural instinct in self-defense and affirming identity. This is not necessary to be troubled and blamed. (5) These problems are like a Pandora's box, a box full of diseases. It was the reform era that opened the box which had been closed or covered by the New Order. What happened in the Reformation Era is the emergence of various ethnic and religious problems which were not recognized during the New Order era.

Abstract

The era of information technology that has developed dynamically in recent years has brought significant changes in the way to communicate and mobilize the masses. Public spaces that were once confined to a certain space and time, are now eliminated by the latest technology, to give birth to unlimited public space and can be accessed by anyone, anywhere and anytime. Public space is called virtual public space. The sophistication and effectiveness of this virtual public space is increasingly apparent when a new social movement is able to use it. One of the new social movements was called the National Movement for Guards Fatwa (GNPF) of the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) which was born around the end of 2016. This paper tried to examine the MUI GNPF as a new social movement that managed to make maximum use of virtual public space. Felt until now, a year later. In general, this paper is divided into two. The first part discusses the actions of the MUI's GNPF and a series of Islamic Defending Action. The second part discusses virtual public space which is used as the main means for the GNPF MUI in its movement to mobilize the masses.

Abstract

Women’s leadership in Islamic education plays a crucial role in transforming educational quality. This study explores how women’s leadership at MA Keagamaan (MAK) Hamzanwadi II NW Lombok Timur enhances learning outcomes through a rigorous selection system, integrated curriculum, and strong character-building approach. The institution accepts only 44 male and 44 female students annually, ensuring high-quality learners. The curriculum combines religious and general sciences, emphasizing Quranic recitation, Hadith memorization, classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), and proficiency in Arabic and English. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with school leaders, teachers, and students, as well as an analysis of institutional policies. Thematic analysis was applied to identify leadership patterns and their impact on educational excellence. Findings indicate that women’s leadership at MAK Hamzanwadi II NW Lombok Timur follows a transformational model, acting as facilitators, motivators, and innovators. Strategies include enhancing teacher competencies, integrating Islamic and modern knowledge, and reinforcing a disciplined academic culture. The school has achieved notable national and international academic successes, validating its commitment to excellence in education and student development. This study concludes that women’s leadership significantly contributes to shaping a competitive and character-driven learning environment, aligning with Islamization of Knowledge theory and ta’dib in Islamic education. Institutional support and gender-inclusive policies are essential to further strengthening women’s leadership in Islamic educational settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi implementasi metode Asy-Syafi’i Al-Qur'an kepada anak di Pondok Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Al-Ikhlas menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Data utama dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pimpinan, pengasuh asrama, dan staf pengajar, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari referensi seperti jurnal dan buku yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Asy-Syafi’i terbukti berkontribusi dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur'an. Lebih dari separoh anak berhasil membaca Al-Qur’an dengan tartil, dan hampir semua anak menunjukkan peningkatan ketepatan makhraj huruf. Metode ini juga mampu memotivasi belajar anak, menciptakan lingkungan interaktif, dan mendukung antusiasme mereka dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an. Selain membangun keterampilan teknis membaca Al-Qur'an, metode ini mendorong kedisiplinan, kepercayaan diri, dan kecintaan terhadap Al-Qur’an. Dengan pendekatan terstruktur dan personalisasi, metode Asy-Syafi’i menjadi model pembelajaran Al-Qur'an yang efektif dan direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan di berbagai institusi pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The integration of art as an integral part of the sacred rituals of Balinese Hindu worship to this day makes the discussion of Hegel's thoughts on art is interesting. This paper attempts to discuss Hegel's theory as confronted with the sacred Balinese Hindu art. The most basic reason for the death of art is that since romantic, art has lost its subject matter. The process of dematerialisation in art gave rise to Hegel's very famous adage; the death of art. Art loses subject matter because of the limited media to express the complexity of the Absolute Spirit. However, the sacredness of Balinese Hindu art has been deeply guarded by the Balinese people. Various concepts and classifications are made to maintain its sacredness, such as the concept of belief, the concept of sekala-niskala, the concept of tri hita karana,the concept of kala patra village, the concept of karmaphala, and the concept of taksu/jengah. There is also a classification of sacred and profane arts. It is made by Balinese Hindus to maintain the sacredness of art itself. Through the art of wali and bebalih, the Balinese Hindu art maintains its subject matter concerning the complexity of the Absolute Spirit, as suggested by Hegel. Based on library research, the paper argues that the unique concept of Balinese Hindu, which may represent the wealth of indigenous religions in Indonesia, concerning sacred art can maintain its uniqueness in the global discourse arena and be able to respond creatively to contemporary challenges.
