Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai struktur kalimat yang difokuskan kepada kelengkapan unsur pembentuk kalimat yang terdapat pada tuturan. Selain itu, pada penelitian ini juga membahas ragam kalimat yang didasarkan pada modus kalimatnya, serta mendeskripsikan prinsip berbicara yang dilakukan oleh siswa penutur dwibahasawan. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif studi kasus (case study). Deskripsi dan analisis data penelitian disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian, yaitu mendeskripsikan bentuk tuturan siswa berdasarkan struktur dan ragam kalimat SMK Mutiara Cendikia. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi berupa rekaman dan didokumentasikan kedalam bentuk transkripsi.Kata kunci: struktur, ragam, kalimat.

Abstract

The ability of students to read comprehension is relatively low, especially in understanding the reading text of the report of observations, so we need a learning innovation that can improve students' ability to read comprehension through the application of the SQ3R strategy. The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) How is the ability to read text comprehension reports on students' observations? (2) What is the ability to read understanding text reports of students' observations after using the SQ3R strategy? (3) Is the application of the SQ3R learning strategy effective in learning to read the text of the observation report? The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the ability of students to read the understanding of the text of the observation report. (2) describe the ability of students to read the text of the observation report after using SQ3R. (3) describe the effectiveness of the use of SQ3R in learning to read the text of the observation report. This study uses the Pre Experiment research method with the One-Group Pretest-Postest design. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the ability to read comprehension in the text of the student's observation report. This is indicated by an increase in the average reading comprehension value of 15.98 from the average results before the implementation of the SQ3R learning strategy by 55.83 and after the implementation of the SQ3R strategy by 71.81. So that the SQ3R strategy is effectively applied to the learning of reading comprehension of the observation report text.

Abstract

The ability of students in writing is still low, especially in writing anecdotal texts, so we need a learning innovation that can improve students' abilities through the use of show not tell techniques. This study aims to improve students 'anecdotal text writing skills by applying the Show not tell technique, as well as describing the improvement in students' anecdotal text writing skills by applying the show not tell technique. The population in this study were all grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Ciasem. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques used in this study were writing tests. The data form of this research is in the form of an assessment of learning outcomes that illustrate the skills of students in writing anecdotal texts. Data analysis of test results is done by collecting data writing anecdotal texts, correcting, determining values ​​and processing values. The results showed a significant increase in anecdotal text writing test scores with pretest and posttest. Overall pretest results of students obtained an average value of 59.09 while the overall posttest results of students scored with an average of 78.27. Thus it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of writing anecdotal texts by using show not tell technique increases. Keywords: Writing, Anecdotal Text, Show Not Tell Technique

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi teknis dan kontribusi sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) atap rumah tangga dalam mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap energi listrik konvensional di Kota Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui simulasi produksi energi PLTS atap dengan data periode 2020–2023. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem PLTS atap mampu menghasilkan rata-rata energi sebesar 5.156 kWh per tahun, jauh melebihi konsumsi listrik rata-rata rumah tangga sebesar 1.204 kWh per tahun. Dalam skenario simulasi, jika 10% rumah tangga di Surabaya memasang PLTS atap, total energi yang dihasilkan mencapai 401 GWh per tahun, atau sekitar 33% dari total konsumsi rumah tangga kota. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa PLTS atap dapat secara signifikan mengurangi beban pasokan dari PLN, menghasilkan surplus energi, serta mendukung kebijakan transisi energi dan pengurangan emisi karbon. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya strategi implementasi PLTS atap secara luas melalui kebijakan insentif, edukasi publik, dan dukungan teknis.

Abstract

The ability of students in reading comprehension is relatively low, especially in analyzing the elements of short story builders, so a breakthrough in learning is needed that can improve students' ability to read comprehension through the use of CIRC learning models. The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) How is the ability to analyze the short story builder elements in class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Subang? (2) How is the ability to analyze the short story building elements in class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Subang by using the CIRC learning model? (3) Is the use of the CIRC method effectively used in learning to analyze the short story building elements? The objectives of this study are (1) Describe the ability to analyze short story builder elements in class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Subang (2) Describe the ability to analyze short story builder elements in class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Subang using the CIRC learning model. (3) Describe the effectiveness of using the CIRC method in analyzing the elements of the short story builder. This research uses the Pre-Experiment one group pretest-posttest desaign research method. In the initial data the results of this study averaged 63.06 while the average value obtained by students in the final test was 77.94. From both of these results indicate that there is an increase in the average value on the final test compared to the initial test before using the CIRC Learning model, so that the use of the CIRC learning model in analyzing the elements of short story builders can be said to be effective.

Abstract

Basically everyone is capable of writing, it's just that writing skills need to be trained on an ongoing basis. Apart from needing to be trained on an ongoing basis, the selection of learning methods also needs to be considered, considering that students' ability to write can be categorized as still weak. The learning method used in this research is the suggestion-imagination method. The formulation of the problems in this study are: (1) How is the ability of class XI students of SMK PGRI Subang in writing short stories? (2) How is the ability of class XI students of SMK PGRI Subang in writing short stories using the suggestion-imagination method? (3) How to improve the ability of class XI students of SMK PGRI Subang in learning to write short stories using the suggestion-imagination method? The main objective in this study is how to improve student learning outcomes after using the suggestion-imagination method. The research method used was pre-experimental with a research design in the form of experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at SMK PGRI Subang with the research subjects of class XI TKJ 1 as the experimental class. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique or sample aims. Based on statistical data with the help of the SPSS 23 program, the initial test average value was 56.54 and the final test obtained an average value of 75.28. Based on these calculations, it can be seen that there is an increase in the average value of the posttest compared to the pretest before using the suggestion-imaginary method. Thus the use of the suggestion-imagination method in learning to write short stories is able to provide significant changes and this is proven to be effectively applied in learning to write short stories.

Abstract

The most interesting and one of the concerns for poetry lovers is the use of language style. Language style is one of the poet's means to convey something by means of figuring out or connoting language indirectly in expressing meaning. The poem, entitled Kamus Kecil by Joko Pinurbo, is a type of didactic poetry because it contains educational values which are generally explicit. The imagination in this poem is tactile imagination, which is a tactile creation as if the reader can be touched, touched, or anything that involves the effectiveness of the skin senses. The dominant language style in this poem is the Paronomosia language style which is a figurative language style, and gives the impression of comparison and similarities. Overall, the results of the analysis of figurative language contained in the poem entitled "Dictionary Small" by Joko Pinurbo are hyperbole, personification, paronomasia, anastrophe, assonance, and perofrasis.

Abstract

The periparturient period of dairy cows is a transitional phase starting from three weeks before to three weeks after parturition with physiological changes characterized by increased energy needs for lactation and decreased feed consumption, resulting in a negative energy balance (NEB) and metabolic stress. The periparturient glucagon hormone plays an important role in maintaining the balance of energy metabolism through the activation of glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis in the liver to maintain blood glucose levels, as well as encouraging lipolysis of adipose tissue that produces non-esterified fatty acids (NEFA) as an alternative energy source. Glucagon plays a role in maintaining the balance of metabolic adaptation to reduce disorders, such as ketosis, fatty liver, and decreased early lactation. The main objective is to analyze the role of the glucagon hormone in regulating energy metabolism and stress responses that interact with other hormones and nutritional factors that influence the physiology and metabolism of periparturient dairy cows. The discussion covers three main aspects, namely (1) the physiological mechanism of glucagon in energy metabolism, (2) the interaction of glucagon with other hormones such as insulin, GH, IGF-1, and cortisol, and (3) the effect of medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA) supplementation and rumen-protected glutamate on the activity and stability of glucagon secretion as a stress response in periparturient dairy cows. The writing method uses a literature review approach based on the analysis of the latest scientific journals relevant to the energy metabolism of dairy cows. The results of the study indicate that glucagon is the main regulator in the integration of endocrine and metabolic responses, works synergistically with other hormones and is influenced by nutritional status to maintain homeostasis, and reduce physiological stress. In conclusion, optimizing hormonal balance and nutritional management is very important to support metabolic efficiency, dairy cow productivity, and reduce stress during the periparturient period

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya keterampilan membaca teks cerita pendek siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh kurangnya minat membaca dan ketidakmampuan mereka memahami struktur, unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik, serta kaidah kebahasaan cerita pendek merupakan hal yang mendorong penelitian ini. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental dan menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif. Sebanyak 62 siswa menjadi sampel penelitian, 31 di kelas eksperimen, yang menggunakan model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan bantuan educandy, dan 31 di kelompok kontrol, yang menggunakan metode ceramah. Dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,72 (kategori tinggi) dibandingkan dengan 0,46 (kategori sedang) untuk kelas kontrol, temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup besar dalam keterampilan membaca cerita pendek kelas eksperimen. Kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol berbeda secara signifikan, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 pada hasil Uji Mann Whitney. Oleh karena itu, telah dibuktikan bahwa model tgt, dengan bantuan educandy, berhasil meningkatkan terampilan membaca cerita pendek siswa.   ABSTRACT The low reading skills of students' short story texts, indicated by their lack of interest in reading and their inability to understand the structure, intrinsic and extrinsic elements, and linguistic rules of short stories, are the driving force behind this research. This research design is quasi-experimental and uses quantitative methodology. A total of 62 students became the research sample, 31 in the experimental class, which used the tgt model with the help of educandy, and 31 in the control group, which used the lecture method. With an average N-Gain of 0.72 (high category) compared to 0.46 (medium category) for the control class, the findings of this study indicate a significant increase in the short story reading skills of the experimental class. The experimental and control groups differ significantly, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 in the Mann Whitney Test results. Therefore, it has been proven that the tgt model, with the help of educandy, successfully improves students' short story reading skills.
