Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to know attachment between children and parents who get the care in their house by other members of family except parents; (2) to know attachment between children and parents who get the care in day care; and (3) to know differences of the attachments of children and parents between who get care in their house and in the day care. This study used quantitative approach with comparative design by using independent samples t test. This study involved 60 respondentsby using random sampling technique. The respondents consisted of 30 parents who entrusted their children in day care and 30 parents who cared their children in their house by other members of family except parents. This study used children who were 2-4 years old in Semarang regency. The attachment was measured by using likert scale with three factors which influenced the attachment. The factors were baby sitter, children’ behavior and atmosphere of family. The result showed that there is a difference of the emotional attachment of children and parents based on care area. It showed that the average of independent sample t test group which was in day care was 93.07 higher than children’s emotional attachment t test group in their house by other members excepted their family was 91.10. The researcher concluded attachment between children and their parents who get the care in their house by other member of family excepted the parents was good. On the other hand, attachment of children and parents showed that it was more comfortable.

Abstract

Tujuan. Untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi karyawan, untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan, untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan, Untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi motivasi kerja, untuk menganalisis terdapat pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi motivasi kerja di PT. Hwa Seung Indonesia.Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini populasi adalah seluruh karyawan di PT. Hwa Seung Indonesia sejumlah 3418 orang, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisa data penelitian ini menggunakan model pengukuran (outer model, iner model, dan pengujian hipotesis).Hasil. 1) Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi Kerja (2,333) dan nilai sig 0,003 < 0,05, 2) Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (2,195) dan nilai sig 0,002 < 0,05, 3) Budaya kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap terhadap motivasi kerja (2,075) dan nilai sig 0,002< 0,05, 4) Budaya kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y). (2,104) dan nilai sig 0,008 < 0,05, 5) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (2,328) dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05, 6) Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh motivasi kerja (2,680) dan nilai p value sebesar 0,003 < 0,05, 7) Budaya kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh motivasi kerja (2,648) dan nilai p value sebesar 0,004 < 0,05.Implikasi. Pimpinan hendaknya melakukan evaluasi dan menempatkan karyawan sesuai dengan kemampuan, dan karyawan perlu meningkatkan motivasi diri sendiri serta meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas produk dari perusahaan.

Abstract

Social media has emerged as a ubiquitous force in today's society, facilitating global interactions and information exchange across virtual networks. Numerous studies have been conducted to uncover both the positive and negative effects of social media on students and education. This article explores the pervasive influence of social media on students' school lives, focusing on four key factors: motivating students in academic achievement, utilization for academic discussions, accessibility of study materials through social media, and the potential distraction of school assignments. We investigate the effect of students' screen time on social media on these aspects of their educational experience using a quantitative approach. A survey methodology was employed, with data gathered from 67 students in Indonesia. Preliminary results indicate that social media may not have a significant effect on students' school lives. Additionally, students reported experiencing both negative and positive impacts of social media on their academic endeavors.

Abstract

Learning Arabic is one of the foreign language subjects at school and only a few students are able to master Arabic, even in written and reading form. The weakness of students in general is the lack of vocabulary. Meanwhile, mastery of vocabulary in learning Arabic is very important to support language proficiency. Therefore, to make it easier for students to learn and understand vocabulary, a medium is needed to train and teach the vocabulary, one of which is by using Scrabble. Scrabble is a medium used to develop language skills, one of which is vocabulary mastery. The Scrabble game has several benefits, one of which is increasing vocabulary because in this game students are required to arrange letters to form vocabulary so that students are able to remember vocabulary well. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research objects were students in class VII A of MTs Negeri 5 Jember. The results of this research show that the media used by teachers in learning Arabic are textbooks and LCD. The implementation of Scrabble media is carried out by dividing students into several groups, each group gets a letter. Then the researcher instructed the students to stick the letters on the Scrabble board that had been prepared by the researcher. The results of the application of Scrabble learning media show that class VII A MTs Negeri 5 Jember masters more vocabulary and can increase their vocabulary and are able to remember vocabulary words well.

Abstract

Listening skills are the main skills that students must master in learning Arabic before mastering other skills. This requires educators to be more creative in choosing and using learning media to achieve good learning outcomes. One of the media in improving listening skills that can be used is Plotagon Story-based animation media. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Plotagon Story-based animation media in improving listening skills. This study uses quantitative research methods with the type of Quasi Experimental Design with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The results of the analysis show that there is an effectiveness of using plotagon story-based animation media in improving listening skills, which is in the moderate category. The benefit of this research is to provide an overview of how animated media can overcome challenges in learning Arabic, especially in listening skills. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for educators in designing learning media that are more effective and innovative, and make a positive contribution to increasing student competence in learning Arabic listening skills.

Abstract

Students with strong self-regulated learning (SRL) skills can effectively regulate their motivation and learning strategies to achieve academic success. However, many students face significant challenges in their academic journey, especially experiencing stress from heavy coursework loads during hybrid learning, which often causes delays and disrupts their academic progress, resulting in students' SRL not being as expected. This study aims to assess the self-regulated learning levels of elementary school teacher education (PGSD) students in hybrid learning environments from the perspective of Thorndike's Law of Readiness.   Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 108 undergraduate students of elementary school teacher education at Universitas Sebelas Maret using questionnaires. This study employed content validity through expert judgment and Cronbach Alpha for reliability testing. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics.  The results indicate varying levels of self-regulated learning among undergraduate students of elementary school teacher education: 36.1% exhibited very high SRL, 40.7% high, 21.3% moderate, and 1.9% low. Analysis through Thorndike's Law of Readiness indicates that most students are well-prepared to handle their responsibilities in hybrid learning environments.   This study contributes to a deeper understanding of SRL in hybrid settings, helping students enhance self-regulation and enabling them to better manage, stay motivated, and achieve their academic goals.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Terpadu ini terkenal dengan sebutan KKN Era New Normal, Dalam program KKN yang dilaksanakan di Desa Sadeng, Kecamatan Gunungpati, kota Semarang ini, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat menggali permasalahan dan potensi desa dari segi kebencanaan dan membantu seperangkat warga desa membangun desa Sadeng sebagai Desa Tanggap Bencana. Pada dasarnya, desa Sadeng ini telah terkenal sebagai daerah rawan longsor dan erosi. Berdasarkan perihal inilah, kelompok KKN Desa Sadeng ini mengangkat judul Mewujudkan Desa Resilient melalui Literasi Kebencanaan berbasis identitas budaya lokal: Pemeliharaan Lingkungan Rawan Longsor Dan Erosi Melalui Kegiatan Reboisasi Bibit Tanaman Berdaya Jual dengan masih memanfaatkan potensi wirausaha dan wisata di atas sebagai program kerja tambahan bagi kelompok KKN Terpadu Desa Sadeng.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited use of concrete and interactive learning media in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) instruction, which has led to low student understanding of the concept of administrative region levels in grade 3. Therefore, this study aims to examine the implementation of concrete media in the form of a territorial diorama at SDN Sungai Miai 4 Banjarmasin. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the diorama media effectively enhances student engagement and comprehension by providing a concrete and contextual visualization of regional structures from the neighborhood (RT) level up to the provincial level . Students became more enthusiastic, actively engaged in discussions, and were able to explain the concepts more accurately. Challenges identified include space limitations and the maintenance of physical media. Nonetheless, the diorama proved to be an effective solution for meaningful IPAS learning, especially for lower-grade students who require concrete approaches suited to their cognitive development stage
