Abstract

Autentisitas teks saat ini dipandang sebagai teks dengan tingkat yang lebih rendah atau tinggi. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan autentisitas teks pada buku teks BIPA "Sahabatku Indonesia" untuk BIPA Level 4. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah buku Ajar BIPA Tingkat 4 “Sahabatku Indonesia” yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan tahun 2016. Analisis data kualitatif dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yakni reduksi data, presentasi data, dan penarikan simpulan. Data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik untuk memperjelas analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaslian bacaan yang terdapat dalam buku pengajaran BIPA "Sahabatku Indonesia" untuk BIPA Level 4, masuk dalam kategorisasi materi 2 atau materi penyederhanaan karena adanya intervensi guru dalam mengubah atau memodifikasi bacaan. Teks bacaan pada buku ajar didominasi oleh bacaan yang telah mengalami proses simplifikasi. Simplifikasi dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan capaian dan tujuan pembelajaran BIPA, serta menjadi fenomena yang biasa dilakukan ketika pembelajaran bahasa berada pada tahap permulaan maupun tahap madya atau tahap menengah.

Abstract

Environmental problems are one of the disasters that are close to the community. The increase in environmental problems will not occur if all elements of society have awareness of environmental ethics. In addition, character education is one of the supporting aspects of strengthening ethics. One of the efforts to internalize these values is through art performances, including musicals. The purpose of this study is 1) describe environmental ethics, 2) the value of character education, which is contained in the musical drama Madison's Adventure, and 3) the relevance of the content of these values and musical drama when used in learning Indonesian various levels. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach. The source of this research data is the staging of the musical and the script of the musical Petualangan Madison. The musical drama is performed at the end of 2023, at the ASTON Hotel Madiun (12/31/2023). The data collection technique used was participant observation, by watching musical performances, recording performances, and documentation by analyzing musical drama scripts. The results of this study include: 1) environmental ethics contained in Madison's Adventure is an attitude of respect for nature, responsibility, compassion, and concern for nature, 2) the value of character education contained in Petualangan Madison is four values, including religious, nationalist, independent, and mutual assistance. The variety of environmental ethics and the value of character education can be seen in the scenes and dialogues that appear in the musical drama Petualangan Madison. (3) Petualangan Madison musical drama is relevant in Indonesian language learning with Merdeka Curriculum system, especially as a learning medium for several learning outcomes Indonesian Phase B to Phase F. Keywords : Environmental ethics, character education, musical drama.   Abstrak Permasalahan lingkungan menjadi salah satu bencana yang dekat dengan masyarakat. Peningkatan problematika lingkungan tidak akan terjadi jika seluruh elemen masyarakat memiliki kesadaran tentang etika lingkungan hidup. Selain itu, pendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu aspek penunjang penguatan etika tersebut. Salah satu upaya internalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut adalah melalui pertunjukan kesenian, termasuk drama musikal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mendeskripsikan etika lingkungan hidup, 2) nilai pendidikan karakter, yang terdapat pada drama musikal Petualangan Madison, dan 3) relevansi muatan nilai-nilai serta drama musikal tersebut ketika digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia ragam jenjang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah pementasan drama musikal dan naskah drama musikal Petualangan Madison. Drama musikal tersebut ditampilkan pada pentas akhir tahun 2023, di Hotel Aston Madiun (31/12/2023). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipan, dengan menonton pementasan drama musikal, merekam pementasan, serta dokumentasi dengan menganalisis naskah drama musikal. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: 1) etika lingkungan hidup yang terdapat pada Petualangan Madison adalah sikap hormat terhadap alam, tanggung jawab, kasih sayang, dan kepedulian terhadap alam, 2) nilai pendidikan karakter yang termuat pada Petualangan Madison adalah empat nilai antara lain religius, nasionalis, mandiri, dan gotong royong. Ragam etika lingkungan hidup dan nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut tampak pada adegan dan dialog yang muncul pada drama musikal Petualangan Madison. (3) Drama musikal Petualangan Madison relevan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama sebagai media belajar untuk beberapa capaian pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia Fase B hingga Fase F.

Abstract

Horror fiction is still limited to being used as a learning support. Horror fiction works have the opportunity to be alternative learning materials, especially in learning deaf students. In addition to having horror aspects, horror fiction contains a stimulus to strengthen various dimensions of literacy skills. The objectives of this study, among others, (1) Describe the content of literacy dimensions contained in horror stories, (2) Describe the use of horror stories in learning deaf students. The horror story used to support deaf learning is a story entitled Dihantui Kendi Maling by Sylvana Toemon. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach. The source of research data is horror stories and teaching and learning activities of deaf students. Data was collected by observation techniques, and interviews. Observations are made by participants, or researchers are directly involved in deaf learning. The study participants were deaf teachers and students at SLB B Dena Upakara Wonosobo, Central Java. Interviews are conducted with teachers to clarify or confirm data that does not appear in observations. The results showed that the horror story Haunted by the Maling Jug can be used in learning because it contains a three-dimensional reinforcement stimulus for literacy. The various dimensions of literacy include literacy, financial literacy, and cultural-civic literacy. Literacy is learned through understanding the substance of discourse. Financial literacy is contained in the knowledge of stealing as a form of financial crime. Cultural-civic literacy is found in the attitude of appreciating local knowledge and beliefs in the community. Horror stories and teaching and learning activities are delivered orally as part of the implementation of the Maternal Reflective Method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk citraan yang terdapat pada buku kumpulan cerpen Kembang Turi Yu Srini. Bentuk citraan yang diteliti, yaitu citraan visual, citraan auditif, citraan gerak, citraan penciuman, dan citraan perabaan. Penelitian ini menarik karena buku yang digunakan sebagai objek penelitian belum pernah diteliti oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Selain itu, buku dalam penelitian ini merupakan karya mahasiswa dan dosen dalam Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan stilitiska. Data dan sumber data yang digunakan berupa kata atau kalimat yang menunjukkan kelima citraan dalam buku kumpulan cerpen Kembang Turi Yu Srini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca, simak, dan catat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa citraan auditif merupakan citraan yang paling dominan dalam buku kumpulan cerpen Kembang Turi Yu Srini. Hal ini terbukti pada jumlah yang diperoleh, yaitu citraan auditif sebanyak 156 citraan, citraan visual sebanyak 156 citraan, citraan gerak sebanyak 120 citraan, citraan perabaan sebanyak 23 citraan, dan citraan penciuman sebanyak 12 citraan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide guidance on writing short horror stories using sensory techniques for students of Bruderan High School, Purworejo, Central Java. The activity was conducted based on a needs analysis of the partner through questionnaires and interviews. The implementation was carried out at the Bruderan High School Auditorium in Purworejo, Central Java, with participation from students of various levels, accompanied by their Indonesian language teachers. The methods used in this activity included several stages, such as school needs analysis, focused group discussions on horror writing using sensory techniques, practical horror story writing, presentation of the horror stories, and discussions on the outcomes. This activity resulted in each participant producing their own short horror story. These stories were included in various writing activities, such as anthology publications and short story competitions. Additionally, students at Bruderan High School are able to apply sensory techniques in their short story writing.

Abstract

This research was conducted with two objectives, (1) to describe the content of magical realism in the children's horror novel series Creepy Case Club by Rizal Iwan, and (2) to describe the opportunities for using the book to support Indonesian language learning achievements in various learning phases. The approach used in this study is qualitative. Data is collected through documentation. The source of this research data is six children's horror novel series books Creepy Case Club by Rizal Iwan. Analysis is carried out by content or content analysis. The results of this study are (1) the children's horror novel series Creepy Case Club is a work of magical realism based on the existence of five magical realism markers that appear in each book, and (2) these six books can be used to support Indonesian language learning activities starting from phase A to phase F students. This book not only provides fear or tells stories about something that does not make sense but can also support the educational process of various Indonesian language learning materials.

Abstract

The objectives of this research include describing the mystical content of the Wewe Gombel ghost story which is believed by the people of Kaliputih Wonosobo Village, Central Java, and Abuh Ghost that is believed by the people of Bantansari Silat Hulu Village, West Kalimantan, and comparing the pedagogical content contained in the two ghost stories in the two areas. The research method is qualitative with ethnographic techniques. The data source comes from the speech of the people of Bantansari Village, Silat Hulu, West Kalimantan, and the speech of the people of Kaliputih Village, Wonosobo, Central Java. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was a pedagogical content in the story of the ghost of Wewe Gombel which was believed by the people of Wonoso, Central Java, and the story of the ghost of Abuh which was believed by the people of Silat Hulu, West Kalimantan. These two ghost stories have pedagogical content in the form of invitations and invitations for children to obey parental advice. The educational value behind this ghost story is the attitude teaching which is spoken along with the ghost story that develops in society.

Abstract

Magic School AI is one of the tangible manifestations of the development of digital technology that provides opportunities to improve the quality of learning. One of the features that Magic School AI has is designing learning activities. The purpose of this study is to describe the performance of the Magic School AI artificial intelligence application in designing Indonesian learning activities for second grade students. This research is qualitative research with a virtual ethnographic method. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews. The duration of Magic School AI usage is one month. Magic School AI is used to design Indonesian learning in accordance with the latest curriculum paradigm, namely Deep Learning. The results of this research are that Magic School AI has features that can be used to produce diagnostic assessments, produce project-based lesson plans, improve the visual quality of learning, and produce learning support texts. However, teachers need to modify and review the ideas of Magic School AI to fit the latest learning paradigms, conditions, and learning needs experienced by the learning environment.

Abstract

Jumbo has become the highest-grossing film in Indonesian history. Although it is packaged as a children's animated film, Jumbo contains elements of mysticism. This study aims to analyze and describe the existence of mysticism in the animated film Jumbo produced by Visinema. The research adopts a literary anthropology approach. The primary data source is the animated film Jumbo. Data were collected using a documentation technique, which involved carefully watching the film and taking detailed notes on indicators related to the presence of mysticism. Data validity was ensured through source and theoretical triangulation. The data analysis was conducted through the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. Based on this process, the study found that Jumbo contains elements of mysticism, which manifest in material, spiritual, and moral forms. Each mystical element is evident in the film's scenes. This indicates that mystical content can be integrated into various creative genres, even those intended for children or that portray children's worlds.
