Abstract

Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) are gram-positive bacteria that are rod or round in shape, do not form spores, and do not have cytochromes. LAB can be isolated from fermented food products. LAB is useful to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria so that they are potential antibacterial sources. The purpose of this study was to isolate LAB from the traditional food Dali Ni Horbo, continued with characterization, antimicrobial testing, and sensitivity testing towards several antibiotics. From the results of the study, the number of colonies obtained was 2.4 x 107 CFU/mL. 6 isolates were randomly selected, coded as isolates UPDH1, UPDH2, UPDH3, UPDH4, UPDH5, UPDH6, respectively. Biochemical characterization showed that the isolates were gram-positive and catalase-negative bacteria.  Results of antibiotic sensitivity testing using 6 antibiotics, namely amoxicillin (AML), erythromycin (E), oxacillin (OX), ofloxacin (OFX), cefotaxime (CTX), and gentamicin (CN), showed that all the isolates were resistant to CTX. The UPDH1 isolate was resistant to AML and OX. The UPDH3, UPDH5, and UPDH6 isolates were resistant to AML, and the UPDH4 isolate was resistant to E, OFX, CTX, CN, and OX. Antimicrobial tests used the disk diffusion method against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The UPDH2 isolate, gave an inhibition zone of 6.7 mm, and UPDH5 and UPDH6 gave inhibition zones of 7.6 mm and 8.5 mm respectively, against E. coli. Microbial inhibition tests against S. aureus by UPDH1, UPDH2, UPDH5 and UPDH6 gave inhibition zones of 13.5 mm, 9.0 mm, 12.1 mm and 12 mm respectively. From the results in this research it can be concluded that the traditional food Dali Ni Horbo is a potential source of probiotics.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the formula of anti-aging cream using lemongrass leaf extract. The treatment by giving respondents lemongrass leaf extract and using moisture, evenness, pore, spot, and wrinkle as parameters. Human skin provides protection on the surface of the body against the influence of the surrounding environment. Skin can experience aging, especially in areas that are often exposed to direct sunlight such as the face, neck, upper arms, and hands. Aging is a process experienced by humans in their 30s whose functions in the human body are decreasing, for example, thinning skin, wrinkles, rough skin, and dark spots on the face. Treatment to prevent aging of the skin by using an antioxidant product such as flavonoids because it has the function of preventing or neutralizing free radicals. In Indonesia, several species of plants can be found that function as food and cosmetic ingredients. The lemongrass leaf extract which contains antiaging are Alkaloids, Flavonoids, and Tannins. The data were analysed by using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method to determine homogeneity and normality. Then, if the data is normal, it is continued to be analysed using the One-Way ANOVA method to determine the average difference between groups. There is a difference between treatments, and it is continued with the Post-hoc Tukey HSD test. The higher the concentration of extract used, the greater the anti-aging productivity formed. It is concluded, the best anti-aging effect is a concentration of 9% with increase in moisture, evenness, pore reduction, reducing spots and wrinkles.

Abstract

Quality public service is a very important aspect to create good governance in the region. The success of implementing public policy does not only depend on the content of the regulation, but also on how the policy can be implemented in adaptive, responsive, and community satisfaction-focused service practices. This article aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing public service policies and the level of community satisfaction with services in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. The approach used in this article is a literature review that examines various reference sources. The results of the discussion show that public services in Koto Tangah District, Padang City still face a number of obstacles related to efficiency, speed of process, and openness of information to the public. This finding underlines the urgency of continuous evaluation of community needs and consistent improvement in the quality of public service management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan green accounting dapat meningkatkan kualitas sustainability reporting pada perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA, yang melibatkan penelusuran dan analisis terhadap 15 artikel ilmiah relevan yang dipublikasikan pada tahun 2020–2025 melalui database Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa green accounting berkontribusi positif dalam penyusunan sustainability reporting karena mampu memberikan data kuantitatif terkait dampak lingkungan perusahaan, meningkatkan akuntabilitas, transparansi, dan kepercayaan pemangku kepentingan. Simpulan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa green accounting tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pelaporan keberlanjutan, tetapi juga mendukung kinerja keuangan dan reputasi perusahaan secara jangka panjang, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam implementasinya seperti keterbatasan regulasi dan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten.   Kata Kunci: Green Accounting, Sustainability Reporting, Akuntansi Lingkungan, Tanggung Jawab Sosial
