Abstract

Public health center as the first place to carry out tracer of covid-19 survivors and theimplementation of the COVID-19 mass vaccine as well as the large interest of the people who carry out treatment at the Public health center, the Public health center is a very risky place for the spread of infectious diseases, especially covid-19. In order to minimize the effect of transmission on infectious diseases and optimize the layout of the facilities, it is necessary to improve the layout of the facilities (re-layout) of the existing Public health center services. So far, Public health center services are still very irregular, such as the distance from general medical centers to other medical centers. The purpose of this research will be to produce a new facility layout for the Public health center, so that it can optimize employee performance and the layout of the facility. In this study, the layout of the facility was redesigned using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) And Material Handling Costs are used to determine the distance between rooms and to estimate degree of closeness between rooms, the results of this study are two layout designs aimed at puskesmas which aim to approach the treatment center and pharmacies as well and keep the ISPA room away to minimize the spread of COVID-19 disease.

Abstract

The government is currently trying to increase the added value of product, especially products whose raw material come from within the country. One way to increase added value is by downstreaming commodities. Petroleum is one of the commodities that will be downstream from the upstream to downstream sector. There is limited petroleum in Indonesia, so it needs to be utilized as best as possible. So that the added value of petroleum can be returned with greater value. From the results of the study, there are five industrial sectors that can be developed by government to downstream petroleum commodities, namely liquid parafin, phenol, cumene, caprolacton and polycarbonate

Abstract

Clean water is a basic need that cannot be separated from human life. PDAM Tirtawening is only able to fulfill 34.28 percent of the clean water needs of the people of Bandung City. For the other 65.72 percent of Bandung City residents, groundwater is one of the alternatives for residents of Bandung City whose areas do not have flow from the PDAM, as is the case in the Cibiru area of Bandung City. Groundwater conditions in the Cibiru area are divided into 2 groups, namely the ion exchange group & the simple dissolution or mixing group (groundwater undergoes a mixing process) so that the condition of the groundwater is yellow and smells so that it requires a water filter to purify the water. Behind the importance of this water filter lurks the danger if it is not cleaned regularly. The obstacles found in the field are that the water filter cleaning process is still manual, the water filter is not cleaned regularly due to the position of the water filter placement, forgetting to clean and the cleaning process is not practical. The focus of this research is to find out the needs of water filter users (user requirements) and the problems faced by water filter users in the Cibiru area. Researchers used the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method to redesign a more effective water filter according to the needs of residents in the Cibiru area of Bandung City. The results of the research using the QFD method obtained 7 service attributes needed by consumers and translated into 13 technical requirements in the House Of Quality (HOQ) and 12 priority ranking of water filter designs in the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) table and obtained a new water filter design with a self cleaning system and can be easily disassembled.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the production of herbal food products. Observations indicate that the current production facility layout is not optimal, primarily due to the use of two separate buildings, which results in inefficient material flow. The presence of backtracking patterns and underutilized areas further contributes to increased material handling costs, which reach Rp5,846,182 per month. This study aims to propose an improved facility layout to minimize material transfer distance and time while reducing material handling costs, thereby enhancing production efficiency. The Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method is employed to analyze the interrelationships between production activities based on spatial proximity. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to production employees to identify layout requirements for greater efficiency. The ARC analysis results are visualized in the Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) and Area Allocation Diagram (AAD), which serve as the foundation for designing the proposed layout. The evaluation of the new layout demonstrates significant improvements, including a reduction in material transfer distance by 31,999 meters per month, a decrease in transfer time by 17,480 seconds per month, and an efficiency gain in material handling costs amounting to Rp3,522,508 per month (60.25%). These findings are expected to serve as a reference for the manufacturing sector in designing more efficient production facility layouts to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

Abstract

Tri AS.

Abstract

The Community Health Center (Puskemas) is the foremost and closest place to provide health services to the community. With the BPJS and complete facilities, the Puskesmas is now almost the favorite of the people to get health-related consultation and treatment. So this study tries to make an analysis of puskesmas services and evaluate the layout and queues in the puskesmas using Promodel simulations. The simulation is used because of the fluctuating number of patients who come every day, so that with the simulation the process of estimating patient arrivals can be carried out using statistical distribution estimates. The results of this study indicate the need for a new layout change, where with this new layout the patient's time in the system can be reduced and the need for adding doctors to 2 to 3 people to cut the number of queues that have accumulated waiting to be examined by a doctor. If the point of adding doctors cannot be met, then the puskesmas can provide adequate waiting room facilities for patients who will be examined by a doctor. The ideal number of waiting room seats for patients waiting to be examined by a doctor is 38 seats.

Abstract

Indonesia as one of the natural gas producing countries needs to carry out product downstreaming. This is done to increase the added value of natural gas products. Natural gas exports must be reduced and converted into exports in the form of derivative products. Methanol, ammonia, urea, ammonium nitrate and soda ash are derivative products from natural gas that need to be developed. These product derivatives are used as a mixture of raw materials in various industrial sectors that are closely related to daily needs, so that the market and prices will not decrease.
