Abstract

This study examines the influence of the aplication effect of labor, capital and land area on the production of rice farming in Batarang Village, Kusan Tengah Subdistrict. The method in this research used a quantitative method and interviews with total 58 respondent of farmers in Batarang Village, Kusan Tengah District. Processing data using multiple linear regression analysis with Eviews. The results showed that the labor variable (X1) has a positive and insignificant effect, the capital variable (X2) has a positive and not significant effect, the land area variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the production of  farmers in Batarang Village, Kusan Tengah Subistrict.

Abstract

Research shows the effect of investment, labor, and education level on gross regional domestic product in Kalimantan. The data used in this study are quantitative secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and the One Stop Integrated Investment Service from 2014 to 2020. The data in question are investment realization data, the the number of people working in the workforce, the average length of schools, and gross regional domestic product at constant prices. This study uses the Ordinary Least Square method using panel data from 5 provinces in Kalimantan from 2014 to 2020 by testing classical assumptions and hypotheses. Partially, investment and education level have an insignificant positive effect on gross regional domestic product, while labor has a significant positive impact on gross regional domestic product in Kalimantan. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect the gross regional domestic product. The most influential variable on gross regional domestic product is labor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the Indonesian rubber exports to the United States. The variables observed in this research were the value of Indonesian rubber exports to the United States, international rubber prices, the rupiah against the dollar exchange rate, US GDP per capita, and inflation. The data analysis technique used is Ordinary Least Square (OLS), with a period of time from 1995 to 2019. The result of the study shows that the variables of the dollar exchange rate against the rupiah, international rubber prices and GDP per capita in the United States have a joint effect. The exchange rate variable is the most dominant factor partially.

Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of rice prices, corn prices, rice production, and population simultaneously and partially on demand for rice in South Kalimantan Province in 2010-2019.This research was conducted in South Kalimantan using secondary data and then tested using a multiple linear regression analysis model by looking at the test results consisting of a partial test (t test) and simultaneous test (F test).The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the price of rice, corn price, rice production, and population have a significant effect on demand for rice in South Kalimantan Province. The partial test results show that the price of rice and total population have a significant effect, while the price of corn and rice production do not have a significant effect on demand for rice in South Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation and role of the Family of Hope program in improving the KPM economy in the East Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with a research sample of 96 KPM. This study shows that the Implementation of the Family Hope Program in East Banjarmasin District has been going very well, seen from the active role of facilitators who regularly hold meetings with KPM and a change in KPM's mindset and the amount of assistance is appropriate without any deductions. Then, the most dominant role of the Family of Hope program is found in the income indicator, which is around 76%. Changes in KPM's mindset in controlling the funds provided have helped KPM meet their daily needs and others, increasing household spending above the poverty line. This indicates an increase in the KPM household economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the population number, human development index, GRDP per capita, and unemployment rate on the number of poor people in South Kalimantan from 2010 to 2019. The analytical method used in this research is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and panel data (pooled data), which is a combination of time-series data began in 2010 to 2019 and cross-section data in the form of 13 districts/cities data in the province South Borneo. The analysis in this study was carried out with Eviews 10 software. The results in this study are the Population Variable has a positive and significant effect on the Poor Population in South Kalimantan province, the Human Development Index Variable has a negative and insignificant impact on the Poor Population in South Kalimantan Province, the GRDP Per capita Variable has a negative and little effect on the Number of Poor population in South Kalimantan province, and the Number of Unemployment Variable has a positive and significant impact on the Number of Poor Population in South Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of street vendors, namely income before the COVID-19 pandemic and income during the COVID-19 pandemic on Car Free Day Banjarbaru City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, which was conducted in January-February 2022. The income analysis method was used with the formula with 53 street vendors as respondents. The results of this study indicate that street vendors' income during the COVID-19 pandemic has decreased, with an average income of Rp. 645.962 with a maximum income of Rp. 2.230.000 merchandise and services traders are street vendors who experienced a substantial decline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of planning the relocation policy of Bauntung Market to Bauntung Baru Market and to determine the impact on the income of traders after being relocated. This research was conducted in Banjarbaru City, precisely in Bauntung Baru Market, using primary data from questionnaires that the respondents had filled out. Respondents are Bauntung Baru Market Traders. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the new Bauntung market relocation policy was carried out because the old Bauntung market was not adequate regarding traders and land area. The impact of this relocation policy for traders is that most of their income has decreased from before the relocation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine rubber farmers' income and purchasing power for basic needs during the COVID-19 pandemic in Gunung Riut Village, Balangan Regency. This research is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach, which was carried out in January-March 2022. The research method used is analyzing rubber farmers' purchasing power against basic needs with the formula andthen analyzing income with the formulawith the number of respondents, as many as 65 rubber farmers in Gunung Riut Village, Balangan Regency. The results of this study prove that the total income of rubber farmers during the COVID-19 pandemic is Rp. 116.570.000 with an average income of Rp. 1.793.384. The purchasing power of rubber farmers for basic needs during the COVID-19 pandemic has not decreased too much because the income of each rubber depends on the price of rubber offered by collectors, unless the rubber factory is difficult to move due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that is what will make the income of rubber farmers decrease

Abstract

Restaurant tax is one source of revenue that contributes to increasing PAD. This research aims to determine the contribution of restaurant taxes to Original Regional Income before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Tabalong Regency 2017-2022. The type of data used is quantitative, while the data source is secondary. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that the contribution of restaurant taxes to PAD in Tabalong Regency 2017-2022 is still very low, seen from the average contribution of restaurant taxes before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, the percentage of which decreased by 1.51%.
