Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menghasilkan LKPD berbasis guided inquiry yang layak untuk meningkatkan practical skills dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik SMP kelas VII, (2) mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD berbasis guided inquiry, (3) mengetahui peningkatan practical skills peserta didik SMP kelas VII setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis guided inquiry, dan (4) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik SMP kelas VII setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis guided inquiry. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian RD dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi angket validasi LKPD, lembar observasi keterlaksaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan guided inquiry, lembar observasi practical skills, soal pretest-posttest, dan angket respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) LKPD berbasis guided inquiry yang layak dengan skor 115,5 dari 124 dan termasuk kategori sangat baik. (2) Respon peserta didik memperoleh skor 129,54 dari 160 dengan kategori baik. (3) Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan practical skill dengan persentase peningkatan 49,79% pada pertemuan pertama, 80,04% pada pertemuan kedua dan 86,08% pada pertemuan ketiga. (4) Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dengan skor peningkatan sebesar 0,33 dan termasuk kategori sedang.Kata kunci : LKPD, guided inquiry, practical skills, hasil belajar kognitifThe research aims (1) to produce a guided inquiry based student worksheets which is feasible to develop practical skills and cognitive result of VII grade of junior high school student, (2) to know student response toward guided inquiry based student worksheets, (3) to know the increase of seventh grade high school student’s practical skills after using a guided inquiry based student worksheets, (4) to know the increase of seventh grade high school student’s cognitive result after using a guided inquiry based student worksheets. The research model that is being conducted is 4D model, consist of define, design, develop, and disseminate stage. The instruments of this research are student worksheets validation form, practical skills observation form, pretest-posttest question of cognitive result, and student response questioner toward student worksheets. Result of this research are (1) the student worksheets is feasible which score 115.5 from 124 categorizes as very good. (2) The score of student responses is 129.54 from 160 categorizes as good. (3) Practical skills after using guided inquiry based student worksheets can increase from 49.8% in activity one to 80.04% in activity two and 86.08% in activity three. (4) Cognitive result after using guided inquiry based student worksheets can increase with gain score were 0.33 and categorizes as medium gain.Key words: student worksheets, guided inquiry, practical skills, cognitive result

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) kelayakan LKPD tema pencemaran menurut validator 2) keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan model Project based Learning, 3) ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains setelah peserta didik menggunakan LKPD, 4) respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD. Penelitian merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi LKPD IPA, lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model Project based Learning, lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains, angket respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD IPA, dan lembar evaluasi tes untuk kepemahaman materi pencemaran lingkungan. Teknik analisis menggunakan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) LKPD IPA dinyatakan layak oleh validator untuk mencapai keterampilan proses sains dengan kategori sangat baik (A), 2) model Project based Learning telah terlaksana dengan presentase 100% dengan kategori sangat baik (A), 3) Keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD tercapai dengan kategori baik (B), dan 4) respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD IPA termasuk dalam kategori baik (B).Kata kunci: LKPD, IPA, model Project based Learning, keterampilan proses sains.The purpose of this research is to know 1) Science-Student Worksheet feasibility of pollution theme according to validator 2) implementation of learning activity with project based learning model, 3) achievement of science process skill after learners using Science-Student Worksheet, 4) learners response to Science-Student Worksheet. Research is a development research using 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The instruments used in this research are Science-Student Worksheet validation sheet, learning activity sheet with project based learning model, science process skill observation sheet, student response questionnaire to Science-Student Worksheet, and test evaluation sheet for environmental pollution material understanding. Analytical techniques using qualitative and quantitative. The result of this research is 1) Science-Student Worksheet declared feasible by validator to achieve science process skill with very good category (A), 2) Project Based Learning model has been done with 100% percentage with very good category (A), 3) Science process skill Learners after using Science-Student Worksheet achieved with good category (B), and 4) the response of learners to Science-Student Worksheet included in either category (B)Keywords: Science-Student Worksheet, Project Based Learning, Science Process skill

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues berdasarkan penilaian validator, (2) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues berdasarkan respon peserta didik, (3) mengetahui critical thinking skills peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues yang dikembangkan, dan (4) mengetahui curiosity peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues yang dikembangkan. Penelitian pengembangan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu (1) tahap define, (2) design, (3) tahap develop, dan (4) tahap disseminate. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli secara keseluruhan meliputi aspek kelayakan isi, aspek penyajian, aspek bahasa, dan aspek kegrafisan, LKDP berbasis inquiry science issues memperoleh nilai A dengan kategori sangat baik. Kelayakan LKPD berdasarkan respon peserta didik meliputi aspek kualitas materi, bahasa dan gambar, penyajian, dan kegrafisan memperoleh nilai A dengan kategori sangat baik. Perkembangan critical thinking skills peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berdasarkan lembar observasi memiliki kategori cukup dan hasil gain score ternormalisasi memperoleh kategori sedang. Perkembangan curiosity peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD melalui lembar observasi memperoleh kategori cukup dan melalui angket penilaian diri memperoleh kategori cukup.Kata kunci : critical thinking skills, curiosity, inquiry science issues, LKPDThe research aims (1) to know the feasibility of worksheet based on inquiry science based on validator assessment, (2) to know the feasibility of worksheet based on inquiry science issues based on students response, (3) to know the critical thinking of learner after using worksheet based on inquiry science issues developed, and (4) to know the curiosity of learner after using worksheet based on inquiry science issues developed. Development research of worksheet based on inquiry science issues using 4D model consisting of four stages namely (1) define stage, (2) design, (3) development stage, and (4) disseminate stage. Based on result of expert appraisal on content feasibility aspect, presentation aspect, linguistic aspect, and aspects of graphics worksheet based on inquiry science issues get the value of A with very good category. Worksheet eligibility based on the response of learners includes aspects of material quality, language and images, presentation, and graphics get the value of A with very good category. Critical thinking skills of learners after using worksheet obtain sufficient category and obtain a normalized gain score with the category of moderate. Curiosity of learners after using LKPD obtained enough category through observation sheet with and obtained enough category through self-assessment questionnaire.Keywords: critical thinking skills, curiosity, inquiry science issues, worksheet

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan permainan monopoli sebagai alat evaluasi, mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap permainan monopoli sebagai alat evaluasi, mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan permainan monopoli sebagai alat evaluasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian R D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis hasil lembar validasi kelayakan permainan monopoli menggunakan skala linkert lima, analisis data respon peserta didik terhadap permainan monopoli menggunakan skala linkert empat, analisis hasil belajar peserta didik pada permainan monopoli sebagai alat evaluasi menggunakan nilai PAN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk permainan monopoli sebagai alat evaluasi dalam kategori sangat baik, respon perserta didik dalam permainan monopoli sebagai alat evaluasi dalam kategori sangat baik, hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan permainan monopoli sebagai alat evalusi masih dibawah 76 KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum).Kata Kunci: permainan monopoli, alat evaluasi, hasil belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menghasilkan LKPD IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning yang layak untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, aspek penyajian, aspek kebahasaan, dan aspek kegrafisan, (2) mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pengembangan 4D model dari Thiagarajan (1974) yang mempunyai empat tahapan berupa: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menghasilkan (1) LKPD IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning yang dinyatakan layak dengan skor ratarata 146,5 dari skor maksimal 152 dengan kategori sangat baik (A). (2) Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning melalui hasil observasi meningkat sebesar 8,17%, melalui jawaban pertanyaan LKPD IPA sebesar 11,82%, melalui jawaban pretest-posttest sebesar 15,33%. Selain itu, dilakukan pengujian N-gain score keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui hasil observasi dengan peningkatan sebesar 0,34, jawaban pertanyaan LKPD IPA sebesar 0,44, jawaban pretest-posttest sebesar 0,41 dan termasuk kategori sedang.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, LKPD IPA, Problem Based Learning.The aims of this research are (1) determine the feasibility of student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning that is feasible to improve critical thinking skill of learners from the aspect of content, aspect of presentation, component of language, and graphic aspect, (2) determine the improvement of critical thinking skill after participating in learning using science student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning. This research used 4D model development design from Thiagarajan (1974) which has four phase: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research are results (1) science student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning which is feasible with a average score 146,2 from maximum score 152 with very good category (A). Improving critical thinking skill of learners after following learning by using science student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning from observation result is 8,17%, from answer science student worksheet is 11,82%, form answer pretestposttest is 15,33%. In addition, testing of N-gain score of critical thinking skill in observation result is 0,34, answer of student worksheet is 0,44, answer pretest-posttest is 0,41 and include of good category.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skill, Problem Based Learning, Science Student Worksheet.

Abstract

This study aims at producing an assessment instrument of the PISA model to measure students problem-solving skills and scientific literacy in junior high schools that are valid, practical, and having potential effects. This research employed the design of development studies. The analysis used the Item Response Theory (IRT) Rasch model based on the junior high school students' responses to the developed PISA assessment instrument on natural science subjects. The result of this study was a test set of PISA model for the material of Vibration, Wave, and Sound consisting of 40 items. The test was valid in terms of content, constructs, and language according to the expert assessment, and practical based on small group trials. It also had a potential effect based on the students answers and questionnaires results in the field test. The qualitative analysis showed that the developed test had several potential effects, i.e. the development of students' problem-solving skills and scientific literacy so that they gained a relatively high ability to solve a test with the PISA model. The results of quantitative analysis through field test trials showed that there was a significant effect from the application of the PISA model test to enhance students scientific literacy and problem-solving skills in the junior high school with the Sig. value of 0.000 which was less than the significance level of 0.05 ( = 5%).
