Abstract

The distribution of earthquake hazard areas in the Southern region of Karangasem regency, especially in the Bungaya, Padang Kerta, Tiyingtali, and Ababi villages can be seen based on the microzonation map. Microzoning is the division of regions into several areas based on differences in potential for the impact of earthquake hazards. Microzonation of earthquake hazard areas can be obtained by analyzing microtremor data using the HVSR method. From the results of microtremor data analysis, physical parameters were obtained, which are dominant frequency (f0), amplification factor (A0), and seismic vulnerability index (Kg). This research also produces Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) values obtained from modelling the earthquake source that has hit the research area. The resulting f0, A0, Kg, and PGA values are used as parameters in making microzonation maps. The results are the distribution of each microzonation parameter in the southern region of Karangasem Regency. The dominant frequency (f0) value in the research area ranges from 0.51-8.78 Hz, the amplification factor (A0) value between 0.8-7.46, the seismic vulnerability index (Kg) value between 0.78-14.86, and the Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) value ranges between 157 -171 gals on the VI-VII MMI scale.
