Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is an organization that combines traditionalism and accommodationism with the concept of "Aswaja" as its main way of thinking. NU uses three methods (qawliy, ilhaqiy, and manhajiy) in answering legal problems. On the other hand, Muhammadiyah is an organization that emphasizes tajdid (renewal) and ijtihad in the understanding of Islam, using the methods of ijtihad bayaniy, ijtihad qiyasiy, and ijtihad al-istislahiy.  This research uses literature methods and legal approaches with primary data sources in the form of fatwas of NU, Muhammadiyyah, and banking laws, as well as secondary sources in the form of books, journals, and documents related to the research theme. This article concludes that there are different methods of determining the law on bank interest, NU uses the ilhaqi method, while Muhammadiyah uses qiyas. These differences give birth to the dynamics of legal determination due to differences in methodology. The decision of NU  and  Muhammadiyah despite various polarizations (points of similarity and difference) in the process of determining bank interest law. Thesefatwas, directly or indirectly, through the MUI ultimately have implications for Law No. 7 of 1992 concerning Banking

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the leadership of the school principal and school committee on the implementation of school-based management in SD Negeri Se Gugus 1, Lubuk Besar District. This type of research is quantitative research with a research design using an ex post facto research design. The sample in this study was a total of all teachers consisting of 106 teachers at SD Negeri Se Cluster 1, Lubuk Besar District. data collection technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, and multiple regression. The results of this study state that 1) there is a significant influence between the principal's leadership on school-based management of Cluster 1 Public Elementary Schools, Lubuk Besar District; 2) there is a significant influence of the school committee on school-based management of Cluster 1 Public Elementary Schools in Lubuk Besar District; 3) There is a significant influence jointly on the leadership of the school principal and the school committee on the school-based management of Cluster 1 Public Elementary Schools, Lubuk Besar District.

Abstract

Morals are the main goal and barometer of educational success, therefore Islamic Boarding Schools pay so much attention to and play an active role in shaping the character and noble character of students, one of the methods used by Islamic Boarding Schools in shaping morals is to teach the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning), the goal of this research The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) on the morals of female students at the Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic Boarding School Jonggol Bogor. In this study the author uses two forms of research methods, the first is library research, in this study the author tries to examine books and other scientific writings related to the material of the influence of the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) on morals discussed in this study, the second field research, namely the researchers directly involved to the field. In this study, it was concluded that the coefficient of the relationship between the influence of the Traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) Learning and the morals of female students obtained a value of 0.623 and the rtable value (rt) for N = 32 at the 5% significance level was 0.361 and at the 1% significance level was 0.463. So learning the traditional Islamic book (kitab kuning) has a very strong influence on the morals of female students at the Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic Boarding School, Jonggol Bogor. Abstract

Critical reasoning is one of the essential competencies crucial for enhancing the quality of human resources. However, in reality, many students still struggle to develop critical thinking skills due to inadequate learning approaches. This study aims to develop students' critical reasoning through the implementation of the inductive thinking model, which emphasizes the reasoning process from specific observations toward general understanding. This model encourages students to actively observe, analyze, draw conclusions, and build concepts based on concrete data. The research employed a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were collected from various scientific literatures such as journals, books, and previous relevant research on inductive learning and critical reasoning. The findings show that the application of the inductive thinking model significantly improves students' critical reasoning abilities. Active student engagement in the learning process and the teacher's role as a facilitator and discussion director are key success factors. The conclusion affirms that developing critical reasoning through the inductive approach is an effective and relevant strategy for modern educational settings. The implication is the need for innovative, student-centered learning models that foster active interaction to nurture a critically minded and solution-oriented generation. Penalaran kritis merupakan salah satu kompetensi utama yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Namun, kenyataannya, banyak siswa masih kesulitan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis karena pendekatan pembelajaran yang belum memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan penalaran kritis siswa melalui penerapan model berpikir induktif yang menekankan proses berpikir dari hal-hal khusus menuju pemahaman umum. Dengan model ini, siswa didorong untuk aktif mengamati, menganalisis, menyimpulkan, dan membangun konsep berdasarkan data konkret. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur ilmiah seperti jurnal, buku, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan topik pembelajaran berpikir induktif dan penalaran kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model berpikir induktif secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran kritis siswa. Keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran serta peran guru sebagai fasilitator dan pengarah diskusi menjadi kunci keberhasilan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan penalaran kritis melalui pendekatan induktif merupakan strategi yang efektif dan relevan untuk diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran modern. Implikasinya, dibutuhkan inovasi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan mendorong interaksi aktif demi mencetak generasi yang berpikir kritis dan solutif.
