Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas XI SMA dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui metode penemuan terbimbing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas secara kolaboratif antara peneliti dan guru matematika. Model penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, angket, dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan metode penemuan terbimbing berbantuan LKS yang digunakan sebagai media untuk melakukan kegiatan penemuan, kepercayaan diri siswa dapat meningkat. Peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas XI SMA dengan metode penemuan terbimbing dapat dilihat dari peningkatan persentase siswa yang memiliki kepercayaan diri kategori sangat tinggi dan peningkatan rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa secara klasikal setelah melakukan dua siklus tindakan. Abstract

Locus of Control adalah keyakinan setiap individu mengenai sumber penyebab dari keberhasilan dan kegagalan yang terjadi pada diri individu tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran flipped classroom berbantuan geogebra dalam masa pandemi covid-19; 2) mengetahui hasil belajar dan keaktifan mahasiswa ditinjau dari locus of control pada mata kuliah analisis vektor mahasiswa Tadris Matematika IAIN Pekalongan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan datanya meliputi (1) angket, (2) wawancara, dan (3) dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 84% mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap implementasi pembelajaran flipped classroom berbantuan geogebra. Mahasiswa dengan internal locus of control memperoleh nilai paling tinggi pada semua aspek penilaian. Memiliki usaha yang lebih dalam memahami materi dan mengerjakan tugas atau ujian. Mahasiswa dengan internal-external locus of control memperoleh rata-rata nilai dibawah dari mahasiswa dengan internal locus of control. Sudah memiliki usaha lebih dan cukup aktif dalam pembelajaran. Berusaha makasimal dalam menyelesaikan tugas, namun terkadang kurang percaya diri terhadap kemampuannya. Mahasiswa dengan external locus of control memperoleh nilai paling rendah pada semua aspek penilaian. Selama pembelajaran tidak aktif dan juga telat dalam pengumpulan tugas. Kurang berusaha dalam memahami materi dan arahan dari dosen kurang diperhatikan.

Abstract

Technological changes and developments have resulted in changes in human culture and habits, both adults, teenagers and even children. Seeing that civilization itself has shifted with the emergence of a new era where at this time humans have been side by side with the internet. The word online is already familiar to the public, one of the things that is currently often the subject of discussion has even become a prestigious event on television, namely the Mobile Legends E-sport tournament. This study aims to explore the concept of geometry in the Mobile Legends game. The data collection technique of this research is observation and documentation technique. Checking the validity of the data is done by triangulation. The results of the study show that in the Mobile Legends game there are flat shapes such as circles, ellipses, squares, rectangles, triangles, regular polygons, and irregular polygons. Then there are the geometrical concepts of congruence and congruence, geometry transformation, and pyramid. These geometric concepts can be used in learning mathematics at school.

Abstract

Locus of Control is a belief of each individual about something that causes success and failure that occurs in an individual. The purposes of this study are 1) to find out how the implementation of geogebra assisted flipped classroom learning during the covid-19 pandemic; 2) to know the learning outcomes and student activeness in terms of locus of control in the vector analysis course for Mathematics Education IAIN Pekalongan students. This research is a qualitative descriptive purposive sampling to determine the subject. The data collection techniques include (1) questionnaires, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 84% of students gave a positive response to the implementation of geogebra assisted flipped classroom learning. Students with internal locus of control obtained the highest scores in all aspects of the assessment. Have a deeper effort in understanding the material and doing assignments or exams. Students with internal-external locus of control get an average score below that of students with internal locus of control. They already possess more effort and quite active in learning. They tried to optimalize in completing their tasks, but sometimes lack of confidence in his abilities. Students with external locus of control got the lowest scores on all aspects of the assessment. There were not active and also late in collecting the assignments. Lack of effort in understanding the material and directions from lecturers were not concerned well.

Abstract

In general, state Islamic religious universities (PTKIN) in Indonesia are still not the main choice for most high school and equivalent students in Indonesia, including in the city of Pekalongan and more specifically for tutoring students. On this basis, this article aims to reveal how their perceptions relate to their interest in continuing higher education at PTKIN. This research article is qualitative research using a case study approach with qualitative descriptive analysis. The research subjects in this study were managers of tutoring institutions and tutoring students in Pekalongan City. The sample in the research was taken using goal-oriented sampling or purposive sampling. Data collection in this research was carried out through documentation, questionnaires and interviews. The research results show that tutoring students in Pekalongan perceive PTKIN positively. The majority of these tutoring students have good knowledge and experience with PTKIN. However, even though the perception is positive, the research results show that this positive perception is not necessarily linear with interest.

Abstract

In history, quantitative development data can be used as important data in building a historiography. This article aims to reconstruct the history of general education development by utilizing quantitative data in Pekalongan City during the Pelita V era (1989-1994). Pekalongan City itself is an important city that was once the capital of the Pekalongan Residency which was projected as a trading city where the educational aspect was important to build. This article was written using the historical method with stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The main data source is statistical data obtained from Pekalongan report data in figures issued by BPS, as well as government policy archives stored at the City Government Archives Office. The data obtained was then analyzed using a development history approach from a development politics perspective. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the condition of general education at the primary and secondary levels in Pekalongan City in Pelita V, seen from the aspect of the number of schools, teachers and students, generally experienced fluctuations/dynamics. In this case, the development of general education at the primary level at PELITA V in Pekalongan City is going well, even though there is inequality. At the secondary level, both junior and senior educational development tends to be stagnant

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the technologies used in Indonesian junior high school mathematics learning. This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on the use of AR and its influence on mathematical thinking skills at the junior high school level from 2020 to 2024. Mathematical thinking skills in this study are focused on students' problem-solving skills, reasoning skills, creative thinking skills, and critical thinking skills The Systematic Literature Review method is used by reviewing, analyzing, and synthesizing findings from 11 previous empirical studies on augmented reality articles at the junior high school level related to mathematical abilities (problem solving, reasoning, creative thinking, or critical thinking) conducted in Indonesia, sourced from the Google Scholar database (indexed Sinta 1 to Sinta 3) and Scopus (articles and proceedings) published in 2020-2024, in English or Indonesian, and full-text articles are available. This study found that researchers have used various methods to investigate AR in junior high school mathematics education, with quasi-experimental designs, often involving control groups, being the most common. Geometry emerged as the most frequently studied topic. AR-based instruction has been shown to improve junior high school students' mathematical skills in Indonesia, demonstrating a significant impact on academic achievement and critical thinking compared to traditional methods, while also enhancing reasoning and problem-solving abilities. The potential challenges of integrating augmented reality into junior high school mathematics instruction include the need for sufficient technological devices, teachers' technological competencies, and effective learning time management.

Abstract

Artikel ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses penguatan berpikir kritis serta dampaknya bagi santri di pondok pesanten Al Utsmani Kajen Pekalongan melalui kegiatan bahtsul masᾱil. Hal ini mengingat berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan yang dapat mengarahkan seseorang tepat dalam berpikir dan dapat menentukan sesuatu dengan akurat. Seseorang yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat memberikan jawaban dan argumen yang logis berdasarkan keilmuan yang dimilikinya. Artikel ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data dalam artikel ini adalah ketua pelaksana kegiatan bahtsul masᾱil, moderator, dan santri yang mengikuti kegiatan bahtsul masᾱil di pondok pesantren Al Utsmani Kajen Pekalongan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa peningkatan berpikir kritis santri melalui kegiatan bahtsul masᾱil terbagai menjadi dua yaitu upaya santri sebelum kegiatan bahtsul masᾱil dan upaya santri dalam kegiatan pada saat terlaksananya kegiatan bahtsul masᾱil. Adapun dampak positif santri yang mengikuti kegiatan bahtsul masᾱil, yaitu menciptakan rasa percaya diri dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki, menghargai keragaman pendapat, melatih mental, membangkitkan semangat belajar para santri dan mengukur tingkat pengetahuan.
